Awesome trail running shoes. I did 4 miles right out of the box. Size is true. They also look great walking around town.

Bought these for my boyfriend since I have the women's version and he loves them! Says they're bouncy and have great grip! The cushion on these is perfect, not too high and not too low.

A nice lower ride with enough softness to keep it comfortable. Feels real stable and great for more techy stuff but still good as a road to trail shoe.

These shoes have a lot of pop! I love the foam and ended up setting a PR on my first run in these. Recommend trying on in store - I had to size down to an 8.5 (I wear 9.5 normally in running shoes).

First run out the box, achieved a PR in my 30K. Following week ran another 30K, easy. Legs remain to feel fresh after long runs in the Altamesa 300s. Will be giving other shoes an early retirement.

Running my first 20k, my first sensation was a sure footing, comfortable and sensational light, very happy with my Altamesa 300.

I've not run in a North Face shoe before but am now impressed. These are lightweight and comfortable and breath better than I expected.

I have been experiencing discomfort on the top of my feet where you tie the laces. Not sure if this is from tying the shoes laces too tight or from the tongue slipping under the laces. Maybe I will try skipping the top most eyelets or swapping out for more elastic laces. Otherwise these shoes are a great buy and I'd really like to get them adjusted properly and hit the trails!

Super comfy, runs about 1/2 size bigger. I'm a 12 and 12.5 fits me well. Also increases your height by about an inch which is kinda nice.
Shoe is super comfy, I didn't need a different sole inside my shoe. At least not yet. Use it for walks, jogs, etc. works well.

I tried 7 different kinds of trail shoes from all of the most popular brands. This was my favorite one. Almost perfect, but I am flat footed and the arch was a bit off for me, so I returned them. Will likely try another version in the future.

Very comfortable but be sure to lace up before a major hike. I hiked down the Grand Canyon and got some major blisters on both heals which didn't make my hike out very fun! Not 100% if it was me that didn't lace them tight or if it was the shoes.

Awesome shoes have that great spongy feel! I no longer run but i walk 10-15 k steps per day and usually replace my shoes every 6 months and yes I alternate them. The Altamesa shoes look great! And they feel just right I'm a size 10. They provide great support, are very comfortable and my sense is they will last a long time before they start to break down. I will be buying another pair very soon. Big believer in rotating shoes. Former runner, marathoner, 10k etc.

Very comfortable, though the size was large; 10.5 in these are about 9.5 in others, so I had to return them. (Why don't shoe companies come up with a standardized sizing system?)

Use the product for everyday walking around and the sole it's actually very comfortable, not to cushiony not to firm, its just right. Don't know if my feet aren't wide enough but after a the first few wears the edges sink in as if the show were to wide for my feet...overall still a more comfortable than usual shoe.

It's my first pair of TNF trail running shoes and they are awesome. The trails that I frequent are very rocky with some sharp small gravel and the cushioned soul works great. I don't feel them at all and my feet feel great after a long run.

It's a good shoe, but the sole is a little high and the size is a little tight.
