I broke my right foot about a year ago. In the healing process, the bone healed with a piece of the bone protruding on the right. The gap between the front and rear straps makes that bone "untouched." I may start wearing these with a suit to meetings. I would definitely buy this again.

I needed a comfortable shoe/sandal for my vacation that required A LOT of walking. For anyone wondering, this is the perfect shoe for walking. I walked miles with no discomfort.

Was surprised to see the heel strap was elastic and I love that. Don't have to 'unstrap' every time you put them on. Very comfortable.
