This is my second pair. The only negative is the durability. My last pair only lasted 300 miles as compared to my other pair of a different brand that lasted 550.

I always have been happy with the brand , Saucony, for running shoes. Recently I had to start ordering wide instead of medium as I have bunionettes . So happy with the support and comfort. I do wish they would offer more color options for wide feet!

Quite disappointed with the purchase. I bought size 10 but fits like size 9. Not as comfortable as my Hurricane 24. It feels tight and the cushioning for the ankles not as comfortable as expected.

Ive been a big fan of the Saucony guide series so I got these to replace my previous ones. This series is on a decline, the last couple versions are not great nor is the Tempest. By far my least favorite shoe in rotation. They are unnecessarily big without offering and additional benefit. Its not a cushy ride, they are in fact quite dead and feel heavy and lifeless to run in. The tongue is on the shirt side and they are not an attractive shoe either. I ran quite a fee marathons in previous versions. Ill be looking for something different to fill that void.

Excellent cushioning and very light! One minor issue is that the shoe tongue could be a bit longer!

I needed a pair of shoes for walking and gym use. I saw these on line, and being a long time Saucony fan, I bought them. They fit perfectly and they felt so comfortable, that I have been jogging a bit, I have not jogged in years. Very comfortable with good cushioning. I would buy these again!

Bring back Guide ISO with the Ever Run Sole. I can no longer find dead stock on Amazon. I just returned the Guide 17 to REI today because they look like they were made for Herman Munster. Don't HOKA your shoes Saucony. You are better than this.

The shoe looked like it would fit comfy but they run on the small size and the toe box was not comfortable.

I didn't want to buy them because of limited budget, but I used to wear them and new they were comfortable. Went ahead and got them, wore them for a couple of days inside the house in case I wanted to not keep them. They are great, well worth the money and will go back to them when I need another pair!

I have been using my pair for three months and 250 miles for running, jogging, and brisk walking. I use another pair by a different company in parallel. As someone in the eighth decade of his life who started running ten years ago, I enjoy the smooth feeling, the transition, and the stability (as expected, I had a knee problem) with a well-structured shoe.

too good of a shoe! how can it be? I felt so good wearing these on hikes on vacation
that I walked and walked, too much. I ended up with a hurt leg . Know your limits these shoes will act as super shoes and take you further.. then you should go!

The shoe is good, but disappointed in Saucony customer service. I was shipped the wrong color. When I reached out to find out why. The only response was "sorry they didn't work out for you, here is a link to process the return." The communication did not include why the wrong shoe was shipped and how Saucony was going to correct the issue.

I have bought these shoes for 10 years. This year they changed the drop from 6mm to 8mm and made the show cushy like Hoka. This ruined the shoe for me and actually has my knee hurting a bit while running. Im only 30 years old.
Changing the drop on a shoe is a huge deal, as that is what makes the shoe consistent for return buyers. If the 16 felt good for you, this 17 might not. As in the past you could consistently purchase the shoe year after year and receive that familiar supper comfort on your run with the stiff sole and 6mm droop.
Why change a good thing ? This shoe was so good because it stuck to the tried and true form supporting feel.
If we want a Hoka we could go buy a Hoka.
I hope they bring it back to their bread and butter like the guide 14 next year.
