I've been wearing altras for 10+ years and am always a slave to whatever horrible color choices I am presented with (but they are literally the only brand I can wear so it is what it is). This is the first shoe they've made that is mostly white without an obnoxious additional color. Altra staff: you desperately need to hire a new style/design person. You would sell 1000x more if your colors options were better. I actually listened to a podcast where this topic was discussed lol.

Love the RIVERIA 3 but ordered the 4 because like the last reviewer I liked the colors so much better. The shoe rubbed on my ankle bone. The RIVERIA 3 is cut slightly lower and does not do this. Returned and now ordering more of the 3 before they are gone. Might work for some but not me. I wear a 7.5 in this shoe. 7 on On shoes.

I loved the way these felt. They got me through from November up until last month. I started to notice that the left side was wearing more than the right side. I was disappointed they only lasted 2 months.

I've purchased 2 pairs of these Rivera's at different times and desperately NEED another pair (or 2!!!) The roomy toe box is perfect!!! I want to buy these again and again and again!!! Make more!

I LOVE your shoes !!!! I use my white pair when I work out with my personal trainer. I use my blue pair everywhere else. Thank you for such comfortable shoes.

Very comfortable. Plenty of of room in the toe area! Shaped like an actual foot! I just wish they were made from a warmer materialmy feet get cold.

Absolutely love these shoes, I was a bit hesitant into buying them at first not going to lie because I didn't know the brand and the price but over the spam of a few weeks I've loved them.

I have flat and wide feet and am over weight! Oh no. These are awesome shoes. Then I got plantar fasciitis from some hiking boots these are the only shoes I wear.

I love the support and wide toe box. Recently, I wore these as I toured DC. Lots of walking and no problems! Walking is my way to exercise and since I have RA these shoes are perfect.

The wife and i both have two pairs of Altra shoes and we love them!

So happy with these shoes. My feet run on the narrow side, and I have a hard time finding shoes that fit well. The description for this shoe says it is their "Slim Fit" - so, buyers with wide feet should probably steer clear but others with normal to narrow sizing can benefit from the foot friendly shape and toe box. Yay Altra! Please keep making Slim Fit options :)

I bought these when I decided to get back into running. My chiropractor recommended the wide toe box and zero drop and said it would be much easier if I just started my couch to 5K app with Altra. Love them! No foot or ankle pain. I wear them all the time because I don't want any thing giving me ankle or calf pain.

The first few day of wearing these, I wasn't sure if I'd like them, but after my feet got used to theseI am going to buy a second pair!!! I bought brooks ghost 16 and returned them to get another pair of these, they are so much more comfortable on my foot and feel more natural. I can walk for hours in them without any pain. I'm so happy I'll never go back to another brand!

This has been my favorite shoe for awhile. I work at a running specialty shoe store so I've tried many shoes and I love the slim foot bed and wide toe box. I love the sleeker look with the rivera 4

When I find a shoe that is comfortable I stick with it and I change them every six months or so. Your Rivera 4 has the potential to be such a shoe, but not if the colors choices are not useful to me.

I frequently wear these shoes because they complement most of my outfits, but they aggravate my small bunion. I try not to wear them for long to prevent the bunion from getting bigger.

Overall I love this shoe. I am a PT who was dedicated to Brooks Glycerin, until it changed and became painful. Another PT recommended Altra and I love it. However the laces do not stay tied and the tongue moves around all day! But I'll keep them for comfort!

I am a walker, not a runner. The wide toe box and thick cushioning allow me to stay on my feet a good long time. I have a big foot, size 10, and these shoes preserve my vanity. My feet look somewhat petite!!

The look is great. The bounce/cushion is nice. But it's definitely a half size too small. Really disappointed that the toe bow wasn't wider. I have narrow feet and these felt snug.

I really like this brand for the support and comfort, however the toe scuffed and came apart within the first 2 weeks.

Great shoe! Love it, but it runs at least a half size small. Maybe a whole size when compared to the Olympias which run very large.

My podiatrist recommended Altra due to having neuropathy. I bought these sneakers and instantly loved them. Nice roomy toe box and very comfortable. However, after only 4 months the inside of the top heel portion of the shoes started to wear away. Also have a small hole forming on the outside back of the sneakers. I notified the company and was told it was not covered by the warranty because they claimed this was caused by me by not tying them tight enough thus causing my heels to slip. This is not true, my heels never slipped. I have never experienced this in any other sneakers I have worn. They did give me a store credit as a curtesy. I will buy another pair with the credit but if this happens again I will no longer buy this brand.
