Was looking forward to these being just as good if not better than the Gel Nimbus 25 but I was disappointed they are no where near as comfortable they lack the cushioning if you are looking for a shoe for walking or standing on cement all day this is not it

The fit was great. However, as I have a large foot, the size 11.5 version looked clunky and, oh, "mannish" on me. Alas I am returning them

This is my first pair of ASICS, so I went with their advice for width based on my Merrells. Should have gone with wide because of my bunion, but otherwise amazing!

I got these when I worked retail. They were pricey but a lifesaver. The thing is, they aren't really slip resistant or waterproof, so now that I'm in a different field I can't wear them for work. I did try to take out the insoles & put them in my work boots, though. Like walking on clouds, just as long as you're only walking on dry surfaces. Cushioning starting to wear down some after 5 months but not too bad yet.

I love them, they wear better than any other running shoe (I've tried everything: Hoka's, ON, Adidas, Nike, etc.) but every pair of Asics I have end up getting a hole in the top of the toe almost immediately. I have a feeling it is the shape of my foot, but a little reinforcement would be nice. Funnily enough, I recently saw a woman in a coffee shop with a pair of Asics, and she had the same issue.

They were ok, but not as gel-y as pairs I have had in the past. Also, I have high arches and there was just not enough arch support for me. I sent them bavk

I was disappointed that this shoe didn't have more cushion inside and more arch support. I found the toe box much too wide, but I have a narrow foot and have a hard time finding shoes, period!! The shoe slipped at the ankle, so could not keep them!

Obviously some shoes don't work for some people and this shoe definitely did not work for me. I'm a new runner training for a first mara. Was running in ON cloudrunner and knees figured out real quick they were way too firm. I decided on these for extra cushion and first impressions is they were definitely that. Very comfy but also stable. However I did not do my research about the breathability. It's summer here now and even just wearing these casually they are wayyy too warm. Would definitely be a winter shoe for me..however. today I ran a 10k and right before 5k I started to feel a hot spot under my left toes. It continued to build to the point I was wincing and curling my toes to try and stop the stabbing pain. By the time I got to the parking lot where my car was I took them off and decided to walk on gravel barefoot instead. It was bad. I will definitely not be running anything longer than a 5k in these...but I'm tempted to just keep them as an everyday work shoe. Like I said this shoe might be great for other people but its not for me. That being said I'm still an Asics fan.

I have the gel nimbus 24 from last year and it was so comfortable! They’re pretty worn out so I was happy to find the latest version. Wore these around the house today for three hours. My feet hurt very much by the end and I have a new and sharp pain in one knee. I’m afraid they’re are going back.

I really love this shoe, but whenever I go for a run my sock keeps sliding down and I have to stop to pull it back up, so they have to go back. Super great shoe except that issue.

I've been running on gel-nimbus' for years and loved them. I have narrow feet, high arches and a tendency to have plantar fasciitis flares with under-cushioned shoes, and these used to fit like a glove and minimize aches and pains while training. The recent redesign has made this a completely different fit. The new model is so wide, my foot feels like it's swimming. Unfortunately after many years of training with these, I have to try and find a different shoe. Very disappointed with the changes

Asics, particularly the Nimbus line, have been my go-to-shoe for many years. However, I am very disappointed with the quality of the Asics Gel Nimbus 26. I wore a pair for less than a month, not even daily, and only on floors, pavement and other easy-on-shoes surfaces. The shoes are very comfortable, but the mesh fabric at the toe box on one shoe already has a hole. $159 is way too much for one month of wear, I am now looking for another brand. This is totally unacceptable and such a shame from a company that was so well known for quality.

I've worn these sneakers for 2 months and the tongue has torn away from the side. Very disappointed. I don't think I can return them because I have worn them but I am clearly not happy with them. I've worn ASICS for a number of years and this is the first time I have not been happy.

Asics has completely change the design of this shoe to be more like a Hoka. The heel is a good 1/2 inch or more higher than the previous models of the same shoe. Overall, the entire shoe is much larger than its predecessors. Additionally, this shoe has now priced itself out of the market. I have previously bought it for many years but will not be buying it again.

I have worn gel nimbus since probably the 18. They were recommended By my chiropractor. They helped my back, feet and knees. These on the Other hand have to be the WORSE pair i have ever worn. They Hurt my back so bad, that i missed work. They throw me off balance. I literally could only try and wear them 3x. I have now gone on the hunt for 23 or 24's What were you thinking?

The gel cushioning is fantastic, but the sneaker is too bulky for the average to narrow-sh foot. The sizing is off. It is on the heavier side due to the bulkiness of the shoe, but not terrible if you have a wider, fatter foot. This shoe is perhaps perfect for a bigger, heavier individual.

I always size up from a 9 to a 10 when buying Asics. it has been that way for me for many years. I love the comfort and cushioning of the Gel Nimbus. I do have to say that for the first time in many years of buying Asics, a hole appeared in my left toe pretty early in the life of these shoes. Hopefully that was a one-off. Great shoes.

I would say these become amazingly comfortable, but you have to get over the initial break-in of them. Unlike the old Asics, these have a tighter elastic stretch once your foot is in them. So they are very tight on the foot. Over time it loosens up. But initially it is a little uncomfortable. As far as arch support and springiness, there is a lot of cushion.
