I wear a 6N, so the boot was not too tight for me. In fact, I added a foam insole to fill it up a bit. I have the black boots, and the leather is so soft. No breaking in needed. And I like that the ankle height is shorter than a lot of booties. No digging into the front of my ankle or getting tangled in the back of my slacks. I just ordered the brown pair and hope the leather is just as soft.

These were extremely comfortable, like all Born boots. The leather was really soft and the support was great. I returned because they were a little too big, and also because I wanted something for wearing in wet weather, and this style exposes a little of the sock at the side. Lovely boot though. FYI, it's quite low cut, almost more like a high-top shoe than a boot.

2nd pair of Born...for walking in Paris. Did not disappoint. Wore these shoes all day, every day x 12 days in Paris and environs. Fit was perfect. No problems on cobblestones, uneven pavement, gravel, and stairs! Kept my feet warm and I looked stylish.

Material and fit were good. Just didn't like the pointy style of toe--it looked more cowboy boot than I wanted.

I sometimes need a 10.5 which is very hard to find. This 10 fit me great and didn't bother my bunion which was great.

Nice shoe but runs a little large and wide. If you have a wide foot this boot might be a fashionable solution. It's very comfortable but little arch support.

It was suggested by Zappos that I get a size 7.5, which is my typical boot size. But Born's run a bit large, so I need a size 7. The finishing on these boots was not perfect. The leather near the soles was not finished as well as it could have been. The color and the polish did not extend all the way to the soles. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, as I might have been able to fix that with some good boot polish. But if I'm paying $140 for a pair of boots, I should not have to fix anything. It would be nice if Born paid more attention to detail. I did re-order a size 7 and hopefully they will fit and look great.

Fit was as usual for me. 9-1/2 always fit me in Born no matter what style. That's why I usually buy them and they are comfy. I wish they would have more round toe boots like they used to though. These I returned. Too pointy and the toe kind of turned up at the end. I felt like I was wearing Elf booties. Also when I walked they seemed a bit off. That's happened to me before in a different Born style. Anyway, I found some other round toe booties so sent these back. I still have a couple Born round toe booties I've had for years and I just keep getting them repaired. We all don't have feet that fit in pointed shoes.

Really wanted to like it but the size and fit is very weird. Bought insoles as well to try with them but did not fit right. My shoe size is 9.5 and it's definitely bigger and wider.

This is the second pair I've tried so far. The first pair was messed up on both boots with weird blistery looking deformities. This most recent pair I'll also be returning because it has a major crease/slit on the top of one of the of the boots that appears to have been done by someone who bought them previously. I say this because the paper in the box looked torn and rumpled and not in keeping with a 'new' pair of boots, and I have never seen a new pair of boots have an obvious marring like this.

I *love* these booties!! They are *so* comfortable- right out of the box! No “breaking in” period needed, no worry about blisters. They are an excellent fit, with no rubbing, anywhere!! I also have neuropathy in my foot w makes the feeling g in my foot off, so it can be really hard to find a comfortable shoe. This bootie was like a supportive sock w a small heel. No issues @ all!! It does have a bit of arch support, not a lot, but enough that you notice it’s that & it feels good. The leather is soft & pliable, but NOT thin & cheap! The outside of the boot *looks* like a very expensive, well made shoe. Which it is living up to be. I was a bit hesitant since I live in the South to spend $135 on a bootie. I had been looking for a while to replace a cheap one I’d worn for 10 yrs. I’ve worn them at least 5x, for over 3 hrs each time, & except for looking down & seeing them, I’d never have known I had brand new booties on. I’m *so happy* I got this shoe! I know it’s going to hold up & look GOOD, style & shoe leather-wise, for a LONG TIME! I would recommend this shoe for anyone!

These are a Christmas gift to my daughter so fingers crossed that she likes them as I do. I think the boots are very nice and hoping I do not need to return them.

Love these booties!! Very comfortable straight out of the box. Have trouble finding shoes that fit right. Normally wear size 7 but bought 7 1/2 in these. Straight out of the box and went shopping, spent 7 hours walking. No problem at all with feet hurting at all.

Perfect, comfortable fit right out of the box. I purchased these as stylish walking shoes for a trip to Spain, though a higher heel would have been nice, and made these more versatile. Still, way happy with these shoes.

Love the shoe, but the color was not what I was specifically looking for. The comfort is A+++.

This was my second attempt at these brown Born Kati boots in a size 7. First pair I received were not right. The right boot was received with a very dark mark on the top near the toe that looked wrong. Not that it looked like anyone marked them up; it looked like it probably happened in the color finishing process. Anyway, it was very noticeable, so I re-ordered this second pair which look great! A bit tight in the instep, but not a deal breaker, I think they'll break-in just fine. They're really gorgeous boots!!!

The fit and size with this shoe is good, but I have some Born booties that I love from last year, and was hoping these would be similar, but they are more of a shoe. Living in the snow, I need to find something a bit higher up the ankle.

I am always worried about buying shoes online and usuallly don't but, I took a chance. When I got them and put them on they fit like a glove. So comfortable. Love them!

This was the 3rd pair I tried in the same black color & size. The quality of the leather has diminished, from Born boots I've owned in the past, and the workmanship definitely went downhill on the 1st 2 pairs I ordered. The 1st pair had blisters in the leather on both boots. The 2nd pair had a deep crease in one of the boots near the toe area. This last pair had a lot of faint linear markings but aren't really noticeable. I polished them out and they look fine, so I will keep and enjoy them. I hope Born improves their quality in the future.

This is a REALLY nice boot- classic BORN quality. The toe box is pointier than I wanted, but still roomy. My toes don't feel cramped at all. The reason I'm returning is because of the pointier toe- I'm not a fan of the "look." Too early 90s vibe. I'm going with another boot that's got a more rounded toe.

They were too long/big, and the zipper was not a smooth pull.
