If you need a wide toe box, this shoe is for you. I have worn New Balance, Reebok, Nike 271, ASICS., and most recently, Hoka Arahi 5. The Glycerin is the most comfortable shoe I have ever worn. I live with back pain and extreme foot pain daily. I am going to blame the Hoka’s for the majority of it. I wore the Glycerin for 16 hours the first time I wore them with a lot of walking. I had no foot pain during and after I took them off my feet. I have the coconut color. The picture doesn’t depict the true color. The color is more vivid in person. This is a great shoe.

The length & width were good, but the area over the toes was lower. It felt like it was pressing down on my toes when I walked. The Glycerin GTS 20 are much roomier in the toe box. This seems to be a recurring pattern with women’s running shoes. They start off fitting great, and then are updated smaller. Not sure if someone thinks women’s feet are more attractive if squeezed into a smaller shoe, or if it saves on materials.

Arch support felt sufficient and shoe was well cushioned however I just could not get over the shape, which made my feet look way too wide like I was wearing clown shoes. Designers, not everyone is 20 and just wants the latest shoe. We mature runners would like to also look good.

This sneaker was perfect right out of the box! I wore them around the house for 2 days and then took off for a trip to Portugal for 10 days. The shoes were really put to the test as most of the major cities and lots of the small towns have VERY steep hills and cobblstone streets and my feet felt great day after day! The toe box is very roomy so it does look a bit boxy but at this point in my life I'm all about comfort. I LOVE these shoes!!!

I love EVERYTHING about these shoes, except the color. The blue is a bit bright for me. I have Hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos and these shoes are perfect for me as well as ASICS Kayano 31. I had to go with the ASICS because of the color choice that was available at the time and I needed a pair of great shoes, soon. I would strongly suggest either shoe if a person is searching for a great shoe that provides great cushion for planter fasciitis as well. I have had two pairs of Hoka Bondi's and they went "squishy" on me and were too "clunky" after a period of time. I feel like the Hoka's are being marketed too strongly by EVERYONE (my opinion). I hope this review helps anyone with Hypermobility Ehlers-Danlos in their search for a great pair of shoes!

Great shoe right out of the box. Extra guide rails help with any pronation without feeling like stride is affected. No knee/ankle pain at all. Very durable sole and nice looking shoe. Will purchase in other colorways.

I’m so disappointed in Brooks. I have a wide foot and loved my Dyad 11’s. Alas, they’ve discontinued this shoe, and every other shoe I ordered has a streamlined toe box that pinches my toes and makes my neuromas zing. Guess I’m finished with this brand.

Great sneaker but had to go up a 1/2 size

I loved my Glycerin GTS 20's, which were super comfortable, snug on my heels and not too bulky around the outer sole. Unfortunately, I bought the Glycerin GTS 21's in the same size expecting them to be the same. While they are definitely very comfortable to walk in, they are not as snug in the heel/ankle area for gym activities. Specifically, when I do lunges at the gym, my heels feel like they are popping out. I've tried lacing them tighter, but it doesn't really help. I've also had a bit of trouble with the extra wide outer sole in the heel area...it's a tripping nuisance for me! I am in my 50's and wear a women's size 11 M and as someone else commented here, these look a bit like clown shoes. Note that I decided to keep them but am definitely on the lookout for something that fits better for my gym workouts. Might have to track down a pair of old Glycerin GTS 20's!

The Glycerin GTS 21 is a terrible shoe! This new model was designed with less material on the toe box and is very tight. I have owned Glycerin GTSs for years and relied on them as a high performance, supremely comfortable running shoe. This new model gave me plantar facsiitis after 3 runs! It’s a tragedy that Brooks ruined what had been an amazing shoe.

This is my 3rd pair of Brooks and these don't disappoint. I love the cloud-like feel walking in them, which is a different technology than my other Brooks. The support is excellent as-is. No need to add another insole for extra support. They're actually pretty hip with wide-leg black linen pants for my trip to Europe. As with my other Brooks, I expect these to be long lasting without any performance or quality issues. Worth the investment!

Awesome stability sneaker! As an overpronator I have a hard time finding running sneakers that are comfortable and cute to wear. These are both and provide a great amount of cushion and support. Definitely comparable to hoka Bondi in terms of cushion. Like them better for outdoor running but do well on tread as well.

I have problematic feet, these have plenty of toe room, and good arch support. I wear them pretty much all day with an ankle brace and they are very comfortable.

These are great shoes but I cannot wear them because the heel cup is too deep and hits too high on my ankle.

Love the brooks shoes. Feel great. Look like Brooks. Love being able to get at zappos, great price delivered in 1 day. These are my new dress shoes, if Kathy Bates can wear these to golden globes with a ball gown, we can all wear Brooks to work.

I love these shoes. They are so comfortable. I wish they would have had a different color but thats ok.

Love at first wearing! They’re make my feet look like boats, but I don’t care. I work in retail and am on my feet all day on a concrete floor.

Most comfortable sneaker I've ever owned! True to size. Excellent arch support, cushion with a nice wide toe box. Highly recommend

After the big change in the Glycerin model starting with the 20, I had given up and tried other shoes. A friend suggested trying the GTS, and it feels as close to the original Glycerin as I could hope. I’m happy to get back to comfortable, supportive shoes.

These were a nice find; I ordered the Addiction 15 GTS and this Glycerin GTS and this won hands down! I sized up to a wide to accommodate my orthotic insoles. Perfect cushioning and they do not bother my Achilles Tendon that is very sensitive. The toe off area is better than I expected and I love the Brooks Glycerin GTS 21. Zappos is wonderful with the return policy and much appreciated.

Brooks are my go-to sneaker. These are fantastic!

These are so very comfortable but they still stabilize my foot.

A little big in the width, toe box is really big, but they don't seem that uncomfortable and haven't caused any issues.
