This is a highly rated shoe that got an excellent runners' review, but it didn't work for me. The rocker sole was too pronounced, and the upper material was thin and weirdly translucent. The fit was snug in length; the wide width was ok at the toe box but very wide at the midfoot. The sole was super bouncy, if that's the feel desired. I returned them.

The photos show a nice beige colored shoe which is what I was expecting but the toe box is completely see thru. Huge, major, gigantic disappointment. Returned. If I had known it was see thru I wouldn’t have even wasted my time buying it and now have to go drop off the return.

They look great and the quality seems great. These do run small.

Love these shoes. I'm a long time runner and always have issues with lack of cushioning on the ball of my feet but these are a dream.

These shoes felt great from my first wearing of them. They are incredibly light and felt snappy on the run. I have wide feet and also had plenty of room in the toe box. Love them! I'm picky about my running shoes and it's rare that I immediately like a pair of shoes the minute I put them on. I felt that way about these shoes, though.

This shoe is amazing as a daily trainer! They are light but still cushioned & support fast paces. I love my FC SuperComp V1 & V2 but this shoe has become an instant favorite. Must-buy!!

First and foremost you'll have to go up a half size (a friend also had this issue). But my real issue is the upper. I don' t understand why they are made for elephant feet! There is so much material in the upper, and you can't cinch it down! The material has a plastic quality which, combined with the excess space, makes it impossible to get a nice fit. Disappointing

Love them, on my second pair. Ran the NYC marathon in the first pair, now training for the NYC United half marathon in my second pair. Love the wide fit. Wish Zappos sold the pink version as well, only available on New Balance site for now.

These sneakers are lightweights and super comfy! I ordered a half size larger than usual based on reviews. I took them out for a run this weekend and was very happy with the cushioning and support.

Really comfortable shoes. One note, the inside is neon green and the sides are kinda see though, white or cream socks are a must.

I took these out for a 20 mile run out of the box and they felt pretty great! The sizing is the same as the Rebel v3 in that you want to order up at least half a size. I am usually a 7.5 in other running shoes, but got these in an 8 and could have potentially gone to an 8.5 (some toe pain towards end of run)

I’m normally a 7.5 with New Balance, but the 8.5 fit best for running. Ordered the wide, and they fit perfectly. Super light, responsive cushion. Husband has the same shoe in blue. He loves them but he had to go up a half size. These will be our go-to for marathon training.

First time NB purchase and I am super pleased.

These are the perfect shoes. I’ve been wearing them with cute little dresses, and they are so comfortable- like walking on marshmallows. Breathable, cute, and work with so many outfits. Finally, a shoe I can wear all day at work and not feel any pain! (I’m a teacher) I wear them to take long walks and hikes on the weekends, too. They machine wash easily, and look like new after each wash. Love, love, love these shoes.

I normally wear a 7.5 W. They were a bit snug & the 8 were a bit loose. I decided to go with the larger size. The black color was beautiful. Lots of cushion. Highly recommend.

These shoes are small. I have been running in the V3 for 3 pairs. These are 1/2 size smaller. Not as soft or flexible as V3 but maybe they will last longer. Overall great running shoe. Plenty of cushion and energy return. Very stylish too. Zappos customer service is excellent as I needed to return the first pair because they were too small. Representative was very helpful.

I was very surprised by this shoe. I didn't realize that the toe was a lacy mesh. Cute and light weight, but my toes hit the end of the shoe, and the bottom of the shoe did not seem to extend all the way to my toes. Very cushy. Close, but awkward and makes me pronate.

The arch is too high. Too much support for me.

Nice shoes; however, they are at least half to one size too small. I wasn’t even able to squeeze my feet into them. So, I can’t describe arch support or width. I am going back to order my Freshfoam 1080.

Way too thick of a foam platform. Didn’t like how the shoe felt- way to cheap feeling for the $$$. New balance just doesn’t seem to be as well made as they used to

It was the cheapest, crudest pair of New Balance shoes I’ve ever seen. The shoes are not the size they are marked as.

This shoe ran very small, and the width felt tight. Perhaps the arch was sitting in the wrong spot because the shoe was small, but it was very uncomfortable. I returned the shoes immediately. I always wore the NB 990, and will go back to that shoe.
