Has a narrow toe box. Even the 2E was too narrow for my orthotics for my wide, flipper feet.

This is 3rd year I was looking for a waterproof ankle boot to be primarily used for the weather beginning fall into a heavy winter snowfall where I will need a taller boot. I love the navy-blue color, that's what caught my eye. It is different, not just the usual run-of-the-mill brown, black, grey. I have previously purchased two pairs of Orthofeet casual 'tennis' shoes for my elderly mom and she loved them. I was impressed with the additional inserts for a more custom fit. Anyway, I was extremely impressed with the immediate comfort in my true shoe size and width. That has been such a big problem with other companies. that I usually have to order two pairs at a time and then end up sending both back. Bottom line. I love these! I'm planning on telling friends and family and this brand will be the first I check for future shoe purchases. I plan on buying summer sandals for next year soon. They're already in the cart!

The fit and size is perfect! I have big feet and it takes me forever to find boots that fit correctly.

Normally I size up a half size in hiking boots. I got my normal shoe size in these. These are amazingly comfortable and I love the additional arch support. As for style I'd say they look good for a hiking boot.

Size and width are spot on, and my high arched feet with edema fit nicely in them!

These boots are not waterproof. The second time I wore them was on a sunny day hike involving a shallow stream crossing, over which I hopped from rock to rock. The day after the hike, I took out the insoles to add one of the extra insoles Orthofeet provides for a custom fit. I was surprised to see water droplets under the main insole on both boots. My feet were not submerged and even if they had been, true waterproof boots would not have let moisture in when stepping in a puddle or shallow stream. Very disappointed - reread boot description and although it mentions waterproof twice, there is no explanation of the water-proofing technology.

I ordered this shoe in a wide width to accommodate my arthritic feet and the custom orthotics they require. The toe box had plenty of room - but ….. there is not enough structure in this shoe. Just walking around my house made my feet hurt. So disappointed that I have to return them

These are very heavy and have no ankle support, the tongue is quite short. Just an odd fit for me. I was so hopeful. The color was nice but didn’t work for me

I had been looking for a waterproof hiking boot, and this more than fit the bill. Was extremely comfortable immediately, even on long hikes.

Great boots! I ordered 7.5 and 8 extra wide. I went with the 8 so I can wear thicker socks.

I can’t even believe how pain free my feet were on a week of hikes. The extra plastic arch support for under the inner sole was better than my prescription orthotic and the XW width was enough to wear thick wool socks and avoid friction on my bunion.

Fit was great however, left inner cuff had a rough edge which would have been irritating my skin because it was above the height of my hiking sock.

I wanted to love these, but the EE wasn't wide enough - also felt like the overall shape of the shoe was rectangular, so if you're someone with a wider forefoot than heel, this boot is not for you.

These boots were obviously a return and the person before kept the inner soles. It is difficult to decide if they are a good fit and you no longer have the color and size combo that i need.

I really wanted to like these boots. I have had other Orthofeet shoes and sandals. But, even with the recommended Orthofeet orthodics in them, the arch support is not good. Also, the tongue is narrow and does not allow for much adjustment for any ankle pressure points. Lastly, I could not get them to tie firmly at the top like most real hiking boots do. Very disappointing.

These boots seemed nice, but even with the lacing, the volume was just too much for my narrower, flexible feet.
