For my wide feet I found these shoes to tight. I sent them back.

They're good, but they run small, about a half size. They feel short and narrow – and I have narrow feet to begin with.

Excellent comfort, cushion, and support for a casual shoe. They are actually the most comfortable shoe I have ever owned, besides very expensive running shoes. They also fit the same as any other classic New Balance shoe.

Fits true to size. Comfortable. This model is more sturdy than the older 997 models, with a reshaped outsole. I'd recommend this to anyone who likes neutral colors.

I've had to return shoes for sizing all summer-usually wear US 8-8.5, Eu 38 for years. This year, I thought vanity sizing happened-my best fit was 7.5 = 38. Ordered these in 7.5, they were too short, too tight, despite the unisex sizing at D width. I don't think the width is a true D like men's. I have always loved the NB classic. This style is awesome, looks better than the photo, looks more worth the money than some of these others at similar price. Going to try again, size larger, but they should have a wider toe box.

Shoes have good cushion to them. They rub a little on my ankles, but a little piece of Moleskin solves the problem.

Extremely comfortable shoes for walking distances. Well-padded all around. Nice flex.

The fit was bulky and tight. Loved the color but am returning.

I ordered the shoe in my normal size, 8.5. It was unreasonably tight. So I figured it was just off by a half size, no big deal. I reordered in a 9. The left size 9 was too tight, and the right size 9 was even tighter? Perhaps that's why this is on sale, there is a manufacturing issue. The style is super cute, but there is something very wrong with the shoes.

Runs small. Upped to 10.5 and seems to be better. Trying out larger size with Vionic orthotics. Stay tuned Xo

I usually were size 10 sometimes 9 1/2 in certain brands. I tried both size 10 and 9 1/2 in this shoe, and there is such a big size difference between half sizes in this shoe that 10 was too big, and 9 1/2 just to tight (not necessarily in length but at the toes in terms of width). I guess this just isn’t the right kind of shoe for my foot type which is narrow but wider at the toes.

The tongue was a cheap, low density yellow foam material (think like a less dense tTmpurpedic foam) that wasn't even covered by other fabric. I expect the tongue will start to flake apart quickly and absorb all sorts of materials while walking outdoors.

High school old man shoe dreams realized! Per the advice of other reviewers, I sized up 1/2 size from what I would normally order. I don't have wide feet per se, but they are on the wider end of average. I got the "oak/mushroom" color and it reads a bit more red/pink than brown/tan to my eye. Either way, these are fab retro sneakers!

Cute style but did not fit my fussy feet.

I desperately needed new athletic shoes and had ordered a few other styles and just didn’t find them comfortable or even cute in person. I randomly found these and decided very quickly to order them in “brown” as most of my wardrobe is neutral colors. They delivered via Amazon and I was kind of shocked that a $90 pair of shoes showed up flopping around in a giant, nameless box with zero packing materials. I guess that means less waste that I have to dispose of but it almost felt like they were a return. There weren’t even any sort of tags on them either. They looked clean and unworn so it is what it is. The shoes are comfortable and lightweight. They’re a nice neutral color and will help minimize my fears of staining them accidentally. Hoping to get lots of wear out of these!

I wish New Balance could harmonize their shoe size across models. I'm a true 8.5 but this one felt more like 8.25. Just tad too tight to feel comfortable. Put in an exchange order for 9. I would order half size larger if you are even 0.1 over 8.5

I have another pair of this same shoe in a different color. I liked them so much that I ordered this pair. Very comfortable, but this pair had a little more toe and foot room than the other pair. However, they still fit ok.

They look so good in person should get I recommend that you should get

My normal size in New Balance is 10 and these fit perfectly. Very comfortable, also.

These are great if you have a narrow foot, which I do. If I can find cute shoes that come in narrows (which is getting more difficult these days) I wear an 8.5N. The 8.5 medium in these shoes fit perfectly.
