I have never been able to wear Birkenstocks in the past despite their amazing reputation as they always flopped around and were either too wide or too short. I bought this style on a whim and didn’t realize they now have narrow width sandals. These are perfect for my flat and thin feet. I have the buckle at the tightest setting and have been wearing them a little at a time and boy, do they really mold to your feet. That waking on a hard surface feeling is gone and now blossomed into a walking massage. They no longer flip flop but actually stay on my feet. The metal buckle no longer bothers me (it’s a bit tight at first) and most impressive of all, my husband who hates Birkenstock shoes loves the style, as do I. So classy and so comfortable. An amazing find!

Not your mother or grandmother's Birkenstocks for sure in more ways than one. First of all they are just beautiful. Fashionable and exactly a look you would enjoy these days. The big buckle makes a fashion statement and the patent leather look is unexpected which also makes it look on trend. That is where the glowing reviews stops. For comfort these do not measure up to the Birkenstocks I have worn in the past. The leather is so hard it feels fake and I am not sure it will break in well. The bottom part of the shoe does not have the give that the cork beds of the past have either. I do love the look but I am not sure that I will keep these. For the price I would expect these to deliver on comfort. They just do not begin to do that. BTW I have multiple pairs of Birkenstock shoes but these do not feel the same.

Beautiful shoes, but not as comfortable as other styles. May need to be worn in a little. The large buckle can rub.

I bought these in the Patent black leather. The leather is stiff at first, but softens after a few wears. They are so stylish! I wear them with everything- skirts, dresses, jeans, shorts... These shoes are so versatile and comfortable, and the patent leather with the big buckle elevates the style. The hard footbed is actually more comfortable to me than the other style, and the "narrow" fit is a better fit for my feet than the classic fit. I ADORE these!!

I absolutely love these. I read a few reviews that talked about a foot bed being made of something other than cork and suede. Mine are just like every pair of birks I’ve ever owned. They are comfortable and so cute. They are a tiny bit more narrow than my other birks but I can only see this being an issue if you have a very wide foot.

Comfortable but only good for walking very short distances. The buckles caused large bruises on the top of my feet.

The top of my foot is very high and these dug into the top of my foot when walking. Wouldn’t have been able to walk 10 feet. I’ll need to return. The style is very cute and I wish it would have worked with my foot.

Beautiful shoe, but unfortunately these run short in length. And if you are a true medium width, they are too narrow.

I usually wear a 6.5/7 and the 37s fit perfectly.

I ordered these Birkenstocks in black patent and matcha. I agree with other reviews regarding the plastic lining vs suede lining as the black ones have a sort of shiny plastic and the matcha have the usual Birkenstock suede. You can tell if you zoom in on the photos of the shoes. The suede are more comfortable, and the plastic ones kind of squeak on my feet. But…they are SO CUTE!!! I kept both even though I was only going to keep my favorite. I just love these sandals as a replacement for flip flops. More support than a flip flop and super duper cute!

Cute sandal unfortunately the buckle side of the Strap digs into the top on my feet. Never had issues before with Birks, not willing to try and break these in. Also, footbed is the original, not a softbed, so overall a no-go for me.

These are adorable. If you plan to never take a step in them, they look great. The green color is amazing. I have no idea how anyone can walk in these. Unlike regular Birkenstocks they do not stay on your foot properly despite selecting the correct size and adjustments to the strap. I didn’t even try both of them on because the first side was so awful. So sad to return them because they would have been great for summer. Don’t waste your time!

This shoe is terrible. It is extremely uncomfortable because of the placement of the buckle and causes pain at every step. Disappointed.

5th pair of Birkenstocks and by far NOT the same comfort or quality. :(

Want to love them. Foot bed is slippery, doesn’t stay on when walking. Super cute, not comfy like a typical Birkenstock, different foot bed.

I ordered the size that I normally wear— women’s Size 8. This shoe was HUGE! It is as so big, my foot slid all the way through it. It basically fit my husband who is not a small man. I double checked the size and, yes, it states that it was my size. I ordered these after I had seen them on another woman. They looked great on her. I wish I had ask d her what size she ordered.

when I walk my heel wants to move over the arch hump. Think my foot needs a wider vamp.

I did not try these on as I saw these were not the Nubuck leather ones I wanted. I am returning these and I just ordered the Nubuck leather ones in Sandcastle.

Great sandals. Look great but the strap rubbed on the top of my foot and I was worried that I’d have to send them back. Wore them around the house for a few hours and they were great.

These fit great on my narrow feet. They are so cute in too!

I love these- they are the narrow Birks, but those fit me well and aren’t as bulky.
