I have two pairs and love both of them. I bought a pair shorts from another company that claimed 3in inseam and they seem shorter than this 2.5in inseam. The split side gives plenty of room for full range of motion. They are true to the size. I would love to have a few more pairs in my closet.

Very comfortable shorts. I've never had any issues with them. The pocket space on the back is very roomy, but at moments it can be difficult to zip back (while you're running very fast). That is not a major issue though. I am super happy with these shorts! 10/10

2.5 splits are perfect for distance running // lots of leg or should I say thigh room with that split & I also like the heavier material they are using

Comfortable waistband. Free leg & hip movement. Gorgeous, vivid color. Kinda wish the inseam was a little shorter

These shorts fit great & work fantastically during hot conditions at a 4 mile race in 90 degree weather.

Im really digging these new 2.5 Inch Split Shorts. Great ventilation, and everything stays out of the way. Its dyno being able to put in 20 miles or so without any lube between legs to wreck the fabric. There's no drawstring, but Its easy to place one in betwween inner and outer liners in order to guarantee they dont shift during the run. These shorts ride, ventilate, and dry so well that I have to give them the absolute top rating, despite the lack of drawstring. It seems almost like they float through the air during the run, which it so cool, and is exactly what all runners look for. If you examine the shorts closely, you can see that there is a tunnel in the fabric in order to run a string through them in the back of the shorts which would accomodate a Greek style of apron, a race number, or something. Its kind of a cool and mysterious thing with this drawstring deal. Im sure that are engineered or something. I liked the first pair I bought so much, that I bought a few more in other colors to round- out my Summer colection. All and all, I'm digging everthing with this product.

I love these shorts. They are by far my favorite go to. No matter if I'm on the track or running the trail. I stay cool and dry off super quick.

I mean they're shorts. But they do provide a feeling of free movement, and the liner is comfortable enough that you don't need underwear in hotter weather. The tiny zip pocket at the back would hold a gel pack or two.

Great pair of shorts! Not too short and definitely not near the knee constricting motion. Liner is soft and comfortable. They do tend to flare/roll out a little at the splits but I can't really complain about that. Perfect for just about any run I can think of. I like pockets for gells so they might be lacking there but there are ways around that. My go to short.

I'm a 31/32 waist. Got these in medium, fit is great. Love the way they feel.

The material is much stronger than the Split Second Shorts 2.5"... These shorts are built better than the Split Second Shorts 2.5"... These shorts have no show of wear and tear after repeated use and washing the shorts a bunch of times... This is exactly what I would have wanted in an upgraded version of the Split Second Shorts 2.5"... The colors are nice and bright. (great choice) Thank you Saucony!

Great shorts, fit good and look great, would like a draw string in them

Shorts seem great. Comfortable, stylish, and perform well. They seem to run a little bigger than other brands. I normally wear a large. But after a handful of runs, I realized that they were a little baggy. A loose lining leads to rubbing in the wrong places.

These are very nice shorts. The stitching on the sides was a bit off, causing the two front sides to flare out a bit, like a skirt. Not a big defect, but a defect just the same.

Bought them a bit ago and can say they've been a disappointment. They're not very comfortable, the liner is somewhat harsh compared to most out there. They also run large. I wear a medium in their competitors shorts and small is a tad big in Saucony. Also, if the waistband were the right size I would praise it, but it's too big so I now understand the drawstring complaints.

Love the color and length of the shorts, just the inner lining and shorts cut deep into the inner thighs. Left some pretty bad bruising and discomfort after running 3+ miles. I really wish this wasn't the case because I love everything else about the shorts.

Purchased these (after skipping last version) because product description notes an internal drawcord. I took this to lean there was a way to tighten the waist down. Without this ability the elastic waistband is inadequate. Once shorts become soaked (FL humidity) they do not stay up. Add the drawstring back and it's a 5 star review.

In some brand I have to size up for the liner and have a big waist, but it's acceptable because there's a drawstring. Here, I can order a small and have a loose waist and loose liner prime for chafing. Material is heavy and rough. If you're bigger, on a budget, and a casual runner, then these with a discount might suit you, otherwise runners should check out some alternatives.

I ordered the small size, to fit my 30 inch waist and found the split shorts to be bulky and feel oversized compared to other brands that I wear.

I thought these would be an update to the 5 star 'Split second' short. Definitely not; heavier, less flexible material. The worst part? I have run in these maybe 5 times. Today I went for a run on a trail and MY CAR KEY FELL OUT OF THE BACK POCKET THROUGH A HOLE IN THE ZIPPERED AREA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have Saucony shorts from 5+ years ago that look newer.

Thought these would be an iteration on the 2019 shorts, was wrong. They fit weird and don't naturally 'fall' like my other shorts do. The fabric is weighty and weird feeling. I bought these shorts to feel like I wasn't wearing anything at all while running, these do not accomplish that.
