as others have said, the opening is small, getting in is ok but getting the boot off is an ordeal. Too bad. Such a Beautiful boot! Love the leather and the heel. I will try the other sofft boot similar with buckle and zipper. I love Sofft quality.

I’ve never received so many compliments from a pair of booties. They have a very slim ankle so they work well with ankle length jeans. The best part for me in Northern Montana is that they are stylish, waterproof, the sole is so thick, and I haven’t slipped at all in icy parking lots. Only complaint is sometimes they are hard to get off…they go on easy, but as your feet swell throughout the day it’s sometimes a challenge to get them off. But worth it anyway! So good.

I love these shoes. I needed something for work that is good on snow and ice. I had no issue taking the shoes on and off with the tab in the back. These look great with jeans and pants that are not skinny. The top of the boot is a little too tight to tuck in jeans.

Sliding your foot into this boot was a little snug. I think a side zipper would be awesome for these boots. Ordered 8.5 and 9; I would recommend ordering a ½ size up, since the shoe did not feel as narrow with the additional ½ size. Keeping the 9, great color Mushroom.

I have enjoyed wearing these booties. They are extremely comfortable and love the color.

Cutest Fall Booties! I want them in every color! (Maybe when they go on sale!) Getting them on did require a shoe horn, but it is worth the extra effort. Once on my foot… they felt so comfortable! For a higher heal, the stability is excellent. They are on trend and super cute!

Really wanted to like these boots because of the waterproof but so difficult to get on and off had to return.

Loved the style and quality, the heel felt secure and sturdy, the Sofft brand is reliable. However, putting these boots on and off was such an ordeal, even with a shoe horn, that I could not keep them, as much as I wanted to. The foot bed is comfy inside but the top of my foot where the boot curves was just too confining. Perhaps a thinner ankle area works but for me it would take too long to loosen or break in. Still, a great boot, just not for someone like me with thicker ankle area.

I love these but wish they had a zipper. I kind of regret wearing them and not returning, because they are so tight around the ankles it’s like a suction gets formed when you try to put them on. It also pulls your socks up so much that your toes become crushed inside and because the opening is so narrow, it’s impossible to adjust. Really all of this would be solved if it had a zipper opening. A shame because they’re so cute and waterproof. I’ll see if I can stretch them out or something.

As for style, this is a great looking boot and seems well made. If you're on the fence about your size, size up - this boot fit narrow and small on me. The ankle is on the higher side for a short boot, and there is NO ZIPPER, making it difficult to push your foot down into the boot.

I have other Sofft boots that I love and wanted to love these too but they were just too snug over my metatarsals/toes. I know they'd soften a bit but probably not enough so why spend that kind of money if uncomfortable?!? They looked great but just not making my feet happy.

The shaft if this boot is absolutely impossible to stretch to get your foot in. Both of the pulls on the back of the boots snapped off while trying to get them on. I basically had to do gymnastics to get them on. Then I bought TWO 14inch long shoe horns. Now I can get then on but prior to that the neck wall of the boots got smashed down from all my attempts to get them on. That's a lot of money to pay for shoes you can't get on easily or without breaking them.

I could not try on because I couldn't get my hand into the boot enough to remove paper stuffing. If I couldn't get my hand into the toe area, I doubt I could get my foot inside either. Disappointed.

I could not get my feet in them without lots of pulling and tugging. Would not want to do that each time.
