I really like these vionic uptown loafers. I ordered them in sand and they look nice. They are very flexible and so far do not have any weird areas that rub on my foot. I ordered my normal size, 9.5 medium width and they feel like they could stretch out a little, and may have some heel slippage but I'll update my review if that turns out to be an issue. They certainly do not feel tight. They are comfortable so far. I've ordered multiple pairs of the Vionic malibu beach shoes in size 9.5 and those fit me perfectly and I think they are comparable to those. I have flat feet, basically no arches so I can't do narrow toe boxes and these do not squish my toes at all. I have two other pair of vionic shoes that I hate: the cynthia loafers because they are very stiff and rub the back of my heel and I can't wear them even for a short period; and the willa suede slip on loafers which also are a bit stiff and rub my heel although not as bad, but the willa is a very long shoe. the 9.5 feels like a 10. I haven't been able to make those work either. Hopefully this is helpful if you've tried other styles and are considering this one.

The Uptown would have been a keeper - so supple and comfortable- except for band sewn across the top that made it into a penny loafer style. I have high arches and/or metatarso-cuneiform exostosis, and the band irritated the top of my foot.

Soft, attractive shoe... but narrow. Narrow along the arch, narrow around the toes. I was so disappointed as the arch support was great and the style wonderful!

These shoes were obviously defective. The style and fit were fine. The color rubbed off on everything. I tried them with socks and the color came off on the socks. I tried them barefoot and the color came off on my feet! I love the style and comfort, but I can't keep shoes that rub off on everything!!!!

I purchased these as I’m approaching 40 and having some feet issues. I’ve been to the foot doctor and special shoe stores and have been told I need a stable shoe with arch support, let me tell you, there are not many made for younger people that are somewhat stylish! These are very comfortable and you can not bend the sole easily. They have a great arch support insole so no need to use my orthotics with them. I’ve ordered them in the sand color and probably will get the gray too! I first got a 6 and they fit but were slightly small so I got a 6.5 and they fit and I can even wear a thin sock liner with them with is even better!

Fabulous - I can walk happily in them right out of the box, even with my arthritic foot which is very fussy. The upper is soft, the footbed does not seem sticky/sweaty even barefoot. They even look good with a dress for dinner out when traveling. I don't think I would wear them for all day sightseeing because the upper is so soft and my feet are so fussy, there might not be enough support. Perfect for shorter city outings with some walking where looks and comfort matter.

I loved these shoes they were so comfortable and easy to pack, but after only wearing them a few times there is now a hole in the toe. They fit perfectly but the suede in the front is so thin that it wore out after just a few wears over only three months. I expected better quality for the price.

I have been wearing Vionics for years, and own many, many pairs. I was excited to see a casual loafer that came in wide widths, which is something Vionic lacks. I was extremely disappointed when I put these on. The "arch support" feels like I am standing on a wooden block with the edge of the block right across the arch of my foot. There doesn't feel like there is any padding in the foot bed, and certainly isn't typical of the arch support I am used to in my Vionics. Additionally, the shoe itself has almost no structure. While I like the idea of it being soft as opposed to stiff, the sides are so thin, they barely hold their shape. For the price of Vionics, and based on the many pairs I own, I expected better. Unfortunately, these will be going back. I hope my next pair will be better.

Love these shoes-this is my 2nd color! (I have them in the navy and tan suede). I need arch support and vionic provides that but these are also great looking comfortable shoes that no one would guess are 'orthopedic'. Every time I wear them someone asks about them. These are also the first slip on shoe that I've found that really work for me. I need room in the toe box but I have a narrow ankle so I struggle with getting the right fit. I hope they keep making these!

Very soft leather, wore them all over Spain while on vacation. Good with light sock, very comfortable. No trouble with my plantar fasciitis.

The perfect loafer for my wide width high arch foot. Comfortable right out of the box and makes my foot look slim at the same time :). This is my new go to commute to work shoe. Highly recommend.

Unflattering to a larger foot (I wear a size 11). Odd fit. Heel too loose even with thick socks.

My first pair of Vionic shoes and so far, they're great. Love the sand suede color with white sole, think it will work great for spring, summer and fall. I wore without socks and didn't have any rubbing issues. I've had plantar fasciitis, so now select brands with good foot and arch support. Think these will work well.

I chose this shoe in part because I have other Vionic shoes that help for the arch support. This shoe is attractive and feels pretty good for my feet. The upper took only 10 minutes of walking in the house to give in sufficiently to the bunion I have on one foot to convince me that these shoes will increase in comfort with wearing. That said, I plan to wear these with thin socks or no socks only. I suggest ordering half a size up if you plan to wear thick socks with this shoe.

I loved the idea of a packable loafer for work travel and was so excited when these arrived. But the upper suede is thin and it lacks structure. These gape open as you walk and just look sloppy.

They run a full size bigger, but once you get the correct size, they’re comfy. I returned my 8.5 for an 8 & returned the 8 got a 7.5. I wear orthotics and it’s hard to find comfy shoes where the insole comes out. These come out. I’ll be purchasing another pair in a different color.

I can usually get away with a standard width but with this shoe, after trying both the wide was much more comfortable. The leather is very nice and they have nice arch support.

I had to send back the first pair and order a half size up. This pair fits great.

These are really cute shoes! These seem to run about 1/4 to 1/2 size long. I nearly always wear a 9. I ordered an 8.5 to compare sizes, and I'm worried they're a tiny bit short, so I'm returning them. I likely will keep the size 9s even though they're a little long, since they are cute and comfortable. But I'm a little concerned about the fit overall.

Nice shoe, good arch support, but runs wide mid-shoe. Width caused gaps from instep to start of heel.

Th length was perfect. I wear a size 11 and it was exactly how it should be. My foot is narrow so the medium width is too wide. I’ll have to find some thick socks to accommodate the wide fit. I kept both pairs because they look good and have a great arch support. It would be nice if this brand offered a narrow width since they have medium and wide widths - lots of narrow feet out there!

I love Vionics and the look of this shoe. Sadly they are too wide for me like most vionics. I have to cull through the selection to find ones narrow enough.

This loafer surprised me! I was not sure I would like the light colored sole but it’s subtle and gives a cute look to the shoe. Most loafers are too big and clunky for me but this one is sleek (almost narrow) and a perfect fit. Good quality leather and supportive insole. It’s a keeper!

The shoes are perfect. They fit well, the leather is very soft, they are so comfortable that I can wear them all day and take long walks. I always struggle with feet pain and with these my feet were grateful. I have also received lots of compliments on my shoes. They are worth it.

I really like these. I need this brand or insoles for my feet. I’ve returned sooo many from this brand for being to frumpy but these almost have a cool vibe to them paired with the right outfit. I’ve also found they go with a lot! They seem to “add” to whatever you’re wearing. I got the camel color before they sold out. They are a very good nude color. I found them true to size and they are gripping too so they stay in your feet well. I may order the grey later.
