Yikes! I already had two pairs of Taos Z-Soul in fabric, and they're awesome. So, I decided to order these. I guess it's that they are leather instead of fabric, but they fit completely differently. I wore them to work the first time I put them on, and both small toes and one heel were practically bleeding by the end of the day. They would have been had I not put a bunch of band-aids on. Never even needed a break-in period with the fabric ones. I almost always wear a 6.5, but I wear a 7 in this style. Maybe a 7.5 would have worked in this leather version, but I doubt it.

Loved the looks of these, and the zipper. By the time I found the right length (1/2 size up from usual), the heel was slipping. And the toe box still hurt the outside edge of my big toe. These are not for wide footed folks. Even with my volume feet and these needed to be loosened up a bit (often I have to cinch laces up completely to make shoes fit at all). I really wanted them to work! But in the end, the narrowness wasn't helpful because the heel slipped and toes were cramped.

The toe box is too flat and rubs against the tops of my toes. The instep is secure enough for my narrow foot but the heel is loose.

Super cute shoe. Had a bit of a break in issue with the left shoe but that resolved after a couple days of wearing. I wouldn’t say it runs overly narrow but probably fits a slender foot better.

Very comfortable, quality materials, great arch support.

I really like the shoe and it fit well and was comfortable. However, the zipper on both shoes was difficult to zip up and down!

Very comfortable and the leather makes them look a little fancier than the canvas Taos shoes.

This is a beautiful well made shoe. Unfortunately the sizing was off. My usual size in Taos sneakers is an 8. The 8, however, was so long I was stepping out of them. Sadly the 7.5 was too short.

I really like these sneakers, but I find it's hard to use the zipper.

Liked the color and sizing. Didn't care for the nubuck. Also as mentioned elsewhere, the tongue tended to move down toward toes while walking, leaving a bunching at end of shoe laces.

I am trying to find the perfect travel shoe. I have this style in plaid and they feel and fit great. Unfortunately, these did not fit the same and slipped on my foot. I had to return them.

Too narrow to be called med width

I have this shoe in canvas and absolutely love it! Taos sneakers have the BEST arch support of any shoes I've ever worn. However, the leather version feels very large around the heel, gaping on the sides and allowing my foot to slide out easily even when the shoe is properly laced and zipped up. I am already wearing a size 6, the smallest Taos offers, so am unable to size down for this style. Very sadly it will have to be returned.

The most uncomfortable shoes I have ever worn. They are so cute though, but the pain wasn't worth it.

I was looking for a shoe that I could put on quickly when I need to walk my puppy. Unfortunately I was unable to zip the zipper when the shoe was on my foot.
