This is clearly a very well made and supportive shoe—Dansko knows shoes! Unfortunately, it’s not wide enough for me…I took a chance, knowing the size wasn’t wide, but hoping that the European style would be enough width.

It's a very clunky chunky shoe. Heavy. Looked terrible on my feet. Rubbed at my ankle I love Dansko but this was a miss. Returned.

Too full in the heel causing slip.

Shoes were too small and appeared to have been used, as the soles were dirty and the toe area was creased.

I’ve suffered for more than a year with tibial nerve pain and after countless shoes and injections and therapy, surgery is my only next step. This shoe, however, has been a game changer! Although surgery is still needed, while wearing this particular shoe, my nerve pain doesn’t even exist. It is the perfect shoe for me at this moment. I love it so much that I’m back for a second pair so I never have to be without them!

It is difficult to give stars for this review. I am a fan of Dansko and have been wearing various styles for 20+ years. I liked the look of the Peony but had difficulty with the sizing. Perhaps because it is a slip-on, I found it quite a tight fit to get my foot fully in the shoe and once on, the foot area was extremely tight to the point of uncomfortable. After wearing on the carpet for a couple of stretches of time, I sadly returned the shoes.

Toe box is too narrow for me and the heel drop too low.

Shoe size was too small. Will be returning.

The shoe feels FANTASTIC when you put on. It’s so cushiony when you walk. By the end of the day, however, my shoes were feeling a little tight. I guess my feet swelled some. I’m used to wearing sandals the majority of the time. Wish it was available in a wide width. It’s a sporty looking show.

I love that these are slip on and they are so comfortable. They provide comfortable arch support (I need a lot of arch support) for all day walking.

Too big

I was looking for a shoe to replace my Dansko Pace sneakers which seem to be out of stock everywhere. I chatted with a Dansko rep who told me that the Peony's are the closest sneaker to the Pace. I wear a size 39 in Pace but in Peony it's at least a half size, if not more, larger. The Peony's did not feel as though they had the same level of support that the Pace does. Sending these back.
