After reading the early comments for these, I was skeptical about buying my normal size 8.5 but like all Toms Shoes (Alpargatas, sandals, and boots), they fit like a glove for me. Loafers more than other styles have a tendency to be a little tighter for me, but not these. Went ahead with my normal size based on comments from others who wear the same size. I wanted to be sure and write a review in case others had the same concerns.

I'm not 100% sold on these to the point where I would give them 5 stars, but I can say that they are the first pair of loafers I've tried that actually work for my feet. No joke, I've tried at least 5 different brands (including all the popular ones like Madewell and Naturalizer), and they've all been so uncomfortable and heavy even when trying multiple sizes. Even tight fits slipped off my heel and gave me blisters. These actually fit well and the sole isn't heavy enough to weigh down the shoe such that it slips off. My only complaint is probably that the heel isn't very high, so the shoe isn't quite as feminine/flattering as I would like, but it's not bad at all and I'm still finding outfits that pair well with them.

My daughter wanted these shoes for her birthday. After reading the reviews, she decided to order a half a size larger than her normal size, but they were just too big and I had to return them. I just gave her the money and she really ordered them for herself and absolutely loves them. My advice would be stick with your normal size.

I have never had a pair of shoes fit so perfectly right out of the box. Incredibly comfortable and love, love, love the style. These are perfect!

Love this loafer! It is super comfy and simply beautiful. I teach and am on my feet all day. They are easy to dress up and simply wear with jeans. I bought them in black and tan. Don't think twice. Do it.

I love these shoes. First, they're extremely comfortable. I am a teacher and I work at a LL Bean retail, so some days I wear them from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. I've worn them without socks and with light socks. They have a very comfy footbed that feels like a supportive and cushion-y mattress. These are my most complemented pair of footwear, and women frequently say they want to buy them. I highly recommend.

They are a bit tight at first, almost sized up but decided to test them out and are super comfy! Love this shoe!!

These shoes were comfortable right out of the box. They look great with jeans and dress pants. I found that I can wear them barefoot or with lightweight socks. I'm glad I bought them.

Mostly true to size, a little smaller than I'd like but sizing up would definitely be too big. Love them, very comfortable.

So glad I purchased these shoes. They are hip and classic, look great with my high waisted wide leg jeans. I must admit when they first arrived and I put them on, they were tight and I'm a solid size 6. Since they are leather I figured they would stretch a bit, and they did, they are so comfortable now.

Classic loafers with a bit of a kick! Very comfortable, but have yet to find socks that are thin enough and don't show with them- so sockless it is, at least for now. These come highly recommended!

Love the look of the shoe. Being an avid Tom's fan, ordered without hesitation. Maybe in my old age, my feet have grown. The shoe felt tight. They will stretch out like Tom's usually will. I hope so, right now I can't even wear with a thin sock. I have put bandaids on and don't have much issue. They are comfortable, they will be even more comfortable when they stretch just a tad

These are so cute and so comfy. Wore them for hours the first time with no socks and no blisters. Feet didn't hurt the footbed is so cushioned.

I have narrow feet and could not find a loafer to stay on until this one. They are the perfect level of chunky without being too trendy. I'm so glad they were restocked-worth the price!

Want to love them. They look great but are sooooo narrow and uncomfortable

The shoe itself is pretty. However, it's too narrow and looks more like a casual flats. It's nice but not really what I was looking for. Will be returning. I wanted more of a "loafer" look. But because it's too narrow.. it doesn't fit that look. The design is similar to the regular canvas TOMS shoes. Cute but not "loafer" like. Because it was too narrowit was not comfortable. Maybe I should have ordered half a size bigger but TOMS does not have free shipping and returns to Hawaiiso it's too much of a hassle and expense to go thru all that for a shoe that I'm not 100% impressed with.
