I've been using the Arc'teryx Arro 22 backpack for about 6 months now, and I'm pretty impressed with it. One of the first things that stood out to me is its durability. This pack seems built to last, with high-quality materials and solid construction throughout. It feels a lot more solid than packs I've owned before which is nice. In terms of storage, it has just the right amount of space for my needs. It might not be for everyone but I have pretty basic needs when it comes to organization and storage. I can fit all my essentials without feeling like I'm carrying too much. It fits my 14 inch MacBook Pro easily and it has a zippered pocket on the inside to store pens/pencils/headphones etc. I did notice that the outside pocket storage lacks any kind of organization and anything you put in there will be loose to move around. The hydration bladder compatibility is a big plus for me. I use a 2L Solomon bladder, and it fits perfectly with the backpack's hydration port. It's convenient and keeps me hydrated on the go.The zippers, straps, and overall design are all well thought out and seem to be built to withstand rugged use. I opted for the black colorway and I did notice that it tends to get scuffed up easily and its kind of hard to clean. Overall performance is pretty good in wet conditions. While it's not advertised as waterproof, I've taken it out in the rain and even skied in snowy and rainy conditions with it, and it kept all my gear dry and well-insulated.

I have been using Arro bags since they first started to make them twenty years ago, primarily for going to and from work on a bike with a laptop and other things. It's the bag I take everywhere. I love the design and how much kit it swallows. I have found it rugged, protects from rain and is comfortable to wear. I have three jobs at the moment and each one has given me a laptop for their company. I'm carrying around three Lenovo x1s in my arro every day as I cycle between jobs. It's also a bag I take on holiday and it has been to every continent. I haven't found a better commuter rucksack and I keep buying them.

Bought this last month to replace my Carhartt WIP Philis backpack. I purchased this backpack for the sole reason of having a more durable and weather resistant school backpack. Due to my location and use of public transportation I often need to walk 10-15 minutes through heavy rain, snow, or whatever weather is presented to me that day. The Arro 22 has so far kept water completely out and properly protected my books, laptop, and other electronic gear. The plastic lumbar support wears in and becomes more flexible after 2-3 weeks but still maintains to keep the backpack extremely rigid. However, This rigidness is both a blessing and curse. I don't find the rigidness uncomfortable at all, as the backpack seems to hug your back and properly shapes into it. Unfortunately this plastic lumbar support makes the backpack difficult to lean against anything as it needs to be almost completely upright. Under other circumstances it will simply slowly slide down to the floor which can be very annoying. Another common annoyance is the popping sound the lumbar support will make if you lean very far forward and have a heavy load, it feels as if you broke the backpack or something inside so it can be nerve racking if you don't realize what it is. Despite being 22L it feels considerably smaller, due to the materials it's not a stretchy backpack so for those like myself who like to stuff their bags it can be impossible to fit everything in. Despite advertising a 15 inch laptop sleeve I've been able to fit my 16 inch Macbook Pro (with a chunky case) into the bag. The first few times I had to pull the laptop slightly to one side due to the laptop not wanting to fit midway in the laptop sleeve. After a month the laptop sleeve has stretched out, without damage from what I can tell, and is now easy to slide my laptop into. The size is enough for me to fit my laptop, a notebook, two pencil cases, headphones, a Mantis 2 bag, and charger. On days I expect rain, I chose to swap my headphones for a rolled up Beta LT jacket. On the side I have used the velcro compartment to store a foldable XL bag which makes lunch runs, and after work grocery shopping extremely manageable. The chest strap is very useful and eases the weight on your shoulders while wearing the bag. The waist strap on the other hand feels very out of place and can be uncomfortable if you're wearing the backpack without using it. I simply loosed the waist strap so it hangs slightly and doesn't get in the way of my lower back. Overall, I'm pleased with the backpack and have been enjoying having it on my back everyday. I would reccomend this bag if it fits your criteria.

you don't need that huge plastic inside. it gives you extra weight and weird posture of the backpack. the only way to pull it out for me was to bend one corner, than bend another corner and pull very hard. hands hurt and plastic stays bended after except this, the backpack is cool and comfortable

Very well built, but pricey. It has a nice laptop sleeve which fits my 14" laptop fine. Sits a little too high on my back however this isn't a big deal.
