Pretty comfortable with the wide toe box. I'm a believer that every shoe should be a "wide" since the toes have to spread out under load. Only thing I wish is it had regular laces. Being able to custom tension around the ankle, mid foot, and toes is huge and the quick lace system doesn't allow for that.

Just a great shoe! Jumped on the XA Pro 3D at V3 and have owned every version. Each version improves upon the previous one.

Even at the city i feel like using this pair of shoes daily, they provide great comfort and grip in different surfaces, definitely a great purchase decision.

I have purchased many pair of these types of Salomon shoes throughout the years and been very satisfied with each pair. I have a wide foot so please be aware that the regular sizes are tight, so order wide if you want the extra room.

I'm 68 and hike Camelback Mountain in Phoenix, AZ every day for well over twelve years straight. I hike it twice, my FitBit showing a total of 2400' gained and 6.5 miles. The rock trail has destroyed or delaminated every lesser brand. The XA Pro doesn't just hold up better than any other boot, it also sticks better to the 70+ degree angles and sharp exposed edges. The Sense Ride 5 sticks just as well, and I wear those on lighter trails, but Camelback has many points where squeezing your toes into crevices is required and the XA Pro has thicker sides and toes. A group of regulars convenes for sunrise every morning. I've converted most of them to this great hiking shoe. I've torn up fifteen pairs of other brands before coming back to the XA Pro. Since finding them, I've happily worn out over thirty pairs of XA Pros. There is no better boot for desert hiking.

Third set of these shoes I have bought, love them for both trail running, hikes and running around town! Looks good and comfortable.

Brilliant trainers, can't tell you how many pairs I've had over the years. Last pair we're so comfortable and are like wearing slippers, it's a shame they wear out to be honest. Getting a little expensive now, so feel better waiting until I see them in a sale or a kind birthday discount as this time around

I have 5 pairs of these shoes. They are great on your feet all day. I have a pair of Gore-Tex ones that are great for the early morning or evening after the dew has fallen.

The XA PRO 3D V9's are definitely one of my favorite models. These are lightweight, comfortable and very rugged and durable. Lots of color options to choose from to meet your style! Definitely recommend!

I've hiked Camelback Mountain in Phoenix, AZ USA every day for well over a decade (6 miles, 2,400 ft elevation). It's the toughest urban hike in America (in the middle of the city). The terrain is all granite, rough, and it shreds shoes like a meat grinder. I've tried many brands and styles and ONLY the XA PRO 3D holds up with both grip on the steep rocks and long-lasting tread. I recommend them to everyone! Analysis: Merrills hold up but don't grip as well; I've seen Brooks delaminate in less than 100 miles; Hoka and La Sportiva don't hold up.

I've worn them for about 60 mile and really can't be happier with the constant snug feel. Way more breathable than I anticipated which is awsome.
