Overall it's a great blackpack - nice fit and look. Smart sides and inner pockets. But one moment i cant understand, how to change the high of chest strap. Its sewed in on middle on 5 spots but i cant be changed. Its not problem because i cut off it on my city packs but it will be better to use something like on granville 16 with easy change strap. And one minor thing it's fabric on front pocket it's really very easy to dirt on

I honestly don't even know how long I have owned this backpack. I think since 2011, but I might be mistaken. I use it almost daily as a work and laptop carrier, bike commuter, hiking, skiing, snowshoeing, etc., etc. It is nearly bombproof and showing almost no signs of wear. The only spot that I have had any issue is with the front pocket zipper, which I have had replaced twice. I personally think that I'm a little hard on the zipper, so not the bag's fault. The bag is very versatile, as it is so basic. Anytime I wish for more from this bag is simply because I'm trying to stuff way too many things into it. This bag is hands down the best small backpack I have ever owned. I have had others and bought others for people, but the others eventually wore out and the Arro is still going strong. Great bag! See pictures for how well it has held up in daily use for over 10 years.

Product page says it fits a 15 inch laptop but fortunately my 16 inch MacBook Pro fits inside perfectly. I use this bag for commuting and because it is waterproof, it is the perfect bag to carry my laptop!

The Arc'teryx Arro 22 Backpack in Color Black II has quickly become an indispensable part of my daily routine, seamlessly transitioning from work to leisure activities. Its combination of style and functionality has truly impressed me.
I primarily use the Arro 22 for daily commutes, and it's ideal for carrying my laptop, notebooks, and other essentials. The sleek and modern design not only looks great but also provides ample organization. The various pockets and compartments allow me to keep my items neatly arranged and easily accessible.
The fit of the backpack is comfortable, and the adjustable straps ensure a snug and secure fit. However, I would have appreciated a bit more padding on the back panel for additional comfort, especially during longer wear.
It's worth noting that the Arro 22's capacity might be limited if you're looking to carry larger items or heavy gear. While it's perfect for urban adventures and daily use, those seeking a larger backpack for travel or outdoor activities might need to consider other options.
One detail I'd like to highlight is the versatile nature of the Arro 22. It easily transitions from work to weekend outings, making it a true all-rounder for urban adventurers.
Before purchasing, consider the type of adventures and activities you'll be using the backpack for. If you're seeking a stylish and functional companion for urban exploration and daily commutes, the Arro 22 is an excellent choice.
In summary, the Arc'teryx Arro 22 Backpack combines style and functionality to meet the needs of urban adventurers. Its sleek design, thoughtful organization, and durability make it a reliable companion for various activities. Whether you're navigating city streets or embarking on leisurely outings, the Arro 22 has you covered.

Awesome, simple and useful backpack. Holds a 15' laptop. Front pocket is very useful and easy to store items you need to acces often. Shoulder straps are really soft so this makes it pleasant to wear.

very rugged bag, was quite stiff when its new, but over a few wears it fits better. it sits slightly higher on my back then I prefer but makes the load of the contents of the back more manageable, has many compartments which is nice to distribute wet and dry items.

After a crazy night out and work the next day, I felt sick to my stomach. Being on the skytrain on my way to work, I was low on choices of where to release my bodily fluids. Remembering the quality and water proof features, I unzipped my brand new Arro 22 Backpack from Arc'teryx and let a rip. To my surprise, it lasted the entire 8 hour shift I had to work after with no smell! Highly recommend this product if you drink a bottle of Ciroc the night before you work an 8 hour shift!

Bought this a week ago and was stoked by the quality.
The shape of the inner compartment is okay but could be bigger a bit for a day trip

Weird design choice for what is supposed to be a daily commuter.
The good: materials are top-notch, abrasion-resistant, so I do expect it to last a fair bit.
The bad: materials are a magnet for dust and, worst thing ever, sand. I carried the back to a sandy beach and it's pretty much impossible to get rid of the sand by any means. I ended up cleaning the pack with a toothbrush, just to make it barely usable again.
Not sure how to use the lateral pouches - they are supposed to hold what? Water flask does not really fit, coffee mug does, though.
Can I recommend the pack? Tough to say, honestly - if you are a huge fan of the brand then yes, you can skip the flaws. Otherwise look elsewhere.

I wanted a multi-sport pack for cycling, day hiking, and travel, and this pack's basic features check those boxes. It seems durable, moves well on the body, and has no obnoxious straps (once you remove the waist strap) to snag on planes, trains, or automobiles. The water bottle pocket is good for a 500 mL Nalgene which is appropriate in most circumstances, and the watertight zippers are a nice feature. However, the shape of the bag means that the 22L capacity seems larger than it actually is. The tapered design means that as you add more stuff, the space becomes less usable near the top of the pack. I find I can barely squeeze a days worth of work stuff and lunch stuff in it without stressing out the zipper. The bottom of the bag is not flat, so it constantly tips over whenever I have it resting on the floor, which is frustrating. The fabric on the kangaroo pocket gets scuffed very easily, which is especially noticeable on the Dark Magic version. If it weren't for those negatives this pack would be exceptional, but despite them I still quite like this pack.

I picked up both a Granville 16 and this pack, and unfortunately both of them are going back because the new "AeroForm" back panel appears to be extremely abrasive. I could feel it catching on my shirt the first time I tried it on, and when I rub my hand over it, it feels like I'm getting shards of glass in my hand. Maybe it would be okay with a high-denier Goretex or softshell, but I'm not willing to take that risk, and even with those, I don't see how it couldn't cause some level of damage. How did this make it past testing? As a more minor thing, the laptop sleeve won't fit a 16" MacBook Pro. It stops about half-way down because one edge has some kind of sewn-in fabric indentation. Even if it fit, the sleeve doesn't feel padded at all. The back is rock hard, and there's what appears to be a lumbar pad near the bottom that would create uneven pressure on a laptop.
