I am a longtime user of SAXX boxer briefs and typically wear their Ultra, Platinum, 3SixFive, and Vibe styles. My waist size is 36.5-37 inches (actual measurement) and I am 6' tall and 175 lbs. This generally puts me in between a medium and large with SAXX's sizing. I will generally choose a medium when I am looking for some extra support (when active) and a large for more casual wear. I have also found that the Vibe style runs a little tighter than the others and always prefer a large in those. These SAXX Quest briefs are noticeably different from all of those other styles. The fabric is woven in a waffle pattern that has small holes (about 1 mm square) at the center of each square. The fabric is also composed of nylon fabric, elastane and polyester. The waffle pattern and fabric result in a lighter and more airy feel when worn, but they do not appear as a see-through or sheer fabric. (It looks like normal fabric unless you put it up to a light.) My pair (size Large) also had a bit of a different fit, with a normal SAXX fit at the waistband, but felt a little looser below. The combined effect of the waffle mesh and fit provide a lot more ventilation than a normal pair of SAXX when worn. I did not have any chafing issues or have them ride up when worn with either jeans or chinos. The fabric also dries very quickly compared to a normal pair of SAXX. I have had experiences where I had to handwash and hang dry my SAXXs on travel. They can often take a day or more to dry in an unventilated hotel room, which can be a problem... especially if you need dry underwear to wear or don't want to have them strung up across your room forever! The Quest style dries much more quickly, in only a few hours. In a side by side test, they dried in half the time that it took a pair of SAXX Ultra (Viscose/Spandex) to dry. I believe this is due to both the fabric weave and the material choice. This makes them a lot easier to work with on camping and travel where you want to pack light AND have dry underwear. In short, I would recommend this style for activities like travel or hiking where you want a quick-drying and highly ventilated pair of SAXXs. The sizing was consistent with SAXX Ultra and Platinum styles. If you are in between sizes, size down for support or size up for more airflow.

Just wore the Saxx Volt underwear for a walking round of 18 holes of golf. These boxer briefs never pinched, bunched, sagged, or chafed! Kept everything in that region cool and controlled. If you are active and need a great pair of drawers, you should give them a shot.

The SAXX Quest Boxer Brief is worth the money if you are need a comfortable workout or hike. I recently started doing hot yoga and these are my favorite pair to wear. No chafing, quick dry, and comfortable. The fit is slim so the boxers do not ride around when you are working out.

I really like the fabric and coolness. With warmer weather, this was perfect timing. These boxer briefs are very cool and a real comfort to wear. I received a 2X which is good for my waist. They were more of a relaxed fit than other Saxx briefs that own. But I believe the relaxed fit is what's great about them. I will definitely be looking for more these this summer!!

Fit is true to size--the fit is on the slim side - which is what the product is labeled. These briefs are one of the most, if not the most, comfortable pair of boxer briefs that I have ever worn. They are light and breathable. Look forward to wearing these in the summer when the temps are very warm.

These boxer briefs are perfect for bigger guys - I’m 6’6” and 250lbs. . The fit contours to my shape and I stay cool and dry all day. The don’t bunch up, ride up or fall down… just right.

Very comfortable style. Underwear do not ride up leg even after hours of wearing. Thin material allows for good breathe-ability.

We have purchased several of these undies for my husband and my son. They use them to wear under board shorts when we are at the beach and I think that they might use them under workout clothing sometimes. My son is 5'11" and 160 pounds and wears a medium. They wash up well (I hang them to dry) and seem to wear well too. They scrunch up to nothing to pack in a suitcase. They have tried other brands but like these Saxx the best.

I read about Saxx on WireCutter and am so thrilled that I found them. My husband prefers boxer briefs and for his "berries" to stay cool so these were the perfect pairs for him. He has not stopped raving about them and just ordered himself five more pairs.

I have worn SAXX Vibe for several years and love them. Daily temps here are getting close to 90 already, so I thought Id try a pair of Quest. As soon as I put them on, I ordered several more. The fit is perfect and they feel great. Its a good choice for me in the Texas summer.

Good for hot weather workouts
