I was wearing out my Brooks shoes in the toe way too fast, and when I reached out to their customer service about replacement, they suggested I look for a shoe with more mid/forefoot support. I did my research and was intrigued by Altra and the Torin's and gave them a try! I absolutely love them, I also am battling plantar fasciitis and the 0 drop has felt amazing on my feet. Will be a return customer!

I use these shoes strictly for running, typically 5K distance and have logged just under 40 miles in them so far. I love the cushion, the wide toe box (much like my lone peaks), and how light they feel. I can't say how they hold up for half-marathon/marathon distance. Overall, I love them and have and will continue to reccomend!

I love these shoes so much. I've been running in them for 4 weeks now and I have not a shin splint in sight! I typically always get shin splints and lower back pain with running. These Torins are an answered prayer!

I sized up 1/2 size from my usual size and found the promised land.

Sizing: I am normally a women's 10, in these I prefer a 10.5 Oftentimes, a 10.5 is not available, so I appreciate that half sizing. Also, if you're on your wide toe base journey, you know having a spacious toe box is part of the deal, so going up half a size sort of makes sense. I love these because they have a cushion, but a 0mm toe to heel drop. I am making my way towards a more barefoot lifestyle and these are perfect for that journey. I have had my current pair for a year and still wear them religiously- to work as a nurse, hiking, walking, practicing soccer, and to the gym for weight lifting. I also get compliments on this style of shoe. Love them!

My feet appreciate the extra stack height while maintaining the zero drop. I'm training for a fall half marathon.

This is my fourth pair of Altras. I have two sets of hiking boots and two pairs of gym shoes. Always fit perfect out of the box and so much more comfortable than other brands.

I've got Torin 7s. I run about 25 miles a week and do a few 10k and 5k races. The zero drop and decent cushioning have eliminated my knee issues.

This shoe felt great right out of the box. It has the perfect amount of cushion and my toes love the extra room. I has been running in Brooks for years but after experiencing some sudden aches and pains, decided to try a zero drop, wide toe box. I am now back to running pain free.

I love this shoe!! I am a nursing student, so during clinicals I am on my feet for 12+ hrs, and these are the only shoe that can get me through the day. I would say that they aren't the most long lasting shoe but I wore them so often wear and tear was bound to occur.

Great running shoe!! I use these are work too and there's just enough room while also being tight enough that they aren't falling off. They don't get too dirty and have held up great. Overall cannot recommend more!!

I've been wearing Torins for several years and enjoy the roomy toe box and arch support. A very comfortable, balanced shoe.

As a pretty pronounced supinator, I'd read reviews from a few folks who'd found success with the Torin. Happy to say the higher outside and the low drop combined give me way more running power!

I love the new redesign of this shoe. They are incredibly comfortable with the same low drop feel. The tongue upgrade from prior versions is a big improvement. I had a hard time treadmill or road running with the earlier Torin versions, but this version feels like such a nice ride.

My first Torin was the 2.5. They've made changes over the years but I really love the updates to the 7! The thing that never changes is the 0mm drop and if that stays the same, I'll keep buying them!

I like the materials used to manufacture this product. Although, they are soft to my skin, I wear toe socks due to personal preference. The shoelaces are the perfect size needed to double tie them and be secure for any time frame of my runs. The size of the toe box is also perfect for my toes to be comfortable and relaxed. I bought the Torin 7 to get some cushion during my long runs. I am a forefoot striker, so I love the zero drop feature of the model.

I was reluctant to try these sneakers but so glad I did. I haven't taken them off and have already bought a second pair. I have problems with my feet and the cushioning and wide toe box is exactly what I needed

I use this for all of my runs, and they last me a good 350-450 miles before they're worn out!

Altra Torins are the most comfortable shoes in my closet. I wore them on a two week trip to Europe and walked many many miles with no complaint from my problem feet. So grateful!

I have wide flat feet and on them all day as a nurse. These are the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. I usually have foot pain at the end of the day. With Torin 7, it's no longer an issue.

I needed a shoe that made my feet feel good! These shoes are cushioned and with the wider toe box I don't feel squished!
