I've been wearing these shoes for about two weeks now, and I'm left with very mixed feelings. When I first received these shoes, I immediately loved the way they looked - they're very cute, and the colors are great. I definitely prefer my running shoes to look cute, but it's not a necessity - as long as they're comfortable, that's all that really matters. As for comfort, these are.....interesting. Upon first putting them on, I immediately felt they were just a little bit small for their size - I'm a 9.5 in almost every shoe, but I would size up to a 10 in these if I were to purchase them. Despite them being a little small, they are still pretty comfortable on the foot - at no point during my exercise, or at any other point during my day did my feet start hurting or start to feel tired. That being said, walking in these does not feel the most natural for me. I think it may be due to the sole - it's a bit more curved compared to my other running shoes, and I feel like my heel strikes a bit harder when I walk because of it. On the other hand, running in these feels pretty good - they're very light weight and springy, and I think that the sole curvature helps since I strike more with the middle of my foot when running. Now, there is one more thing that is more of an annoyance than anything, and it may just be a fault in the pair that I was sent (I'm pretty sure it's just a fault), but all of a sudden, now after about 2 hours of wear the left shoe starts to squeak when I walk. There is something going on with the sole right under the pad of my foot, where with every step - whether on concrete, a running track, hardwood, carpet etc. - there is a squeaking, rubbery sound. It's pretty annoying, as it's not a quiet sound. Does it affect the comfort of the shoe? No. But it does mean that I can only wear these for about 2 hours at a time, or else I'll be squeaking everywhere I go which, as I said, is very annoying. Which is why I'm very torn on these shoes. Are they cute? Yes. Are they comfortable? Sometimes. Would I re-purchase them? I really don't know. Would I recommend them? Probably not. These are by no means bad shoes, I just think there are better options on the market.

I initially got the size I normally get which is 5.5 in the original Outroads, After wearing them a couple times, my feet hurt just way too much! I contacted Altra and had no problems returning them and purchasing a new one at a size 6. They fit so much better! It's not too tight and they feel great! The Bravey color is cute and flashy! I love the shiny gold laces! I haven't ran in them, I only wore them to work (standing around for 8 hours) and have done Koko Crater Stairs with them. Love them so much, but I recommend getting them in a half size bigger from the OG Outroads. Mahalo!

You guys this is my new favorite shoe of all time!!! I train road and trail year round in Oregon. I was recently diagnosed with metatarsal issues that were keeping me from my training goals. I tried out 3 different pairs of shoes hoping to give my toes more room to spread out along with the right cushion and support. The Outdoor 2's are AMAZING! By the time I found these and tried them out I was a week out from my next 25k trail run. And after only 2 runs in them, I raced in them yesterday and they fit like a glove! I got my podium finish and it's all thanks to this shoe!

I use all my Altras for trail hiking, traveling and everyday wear in garden and around town. I desperately wanted this Outroad2 to be my new favorite. I love the sole. I wore it around the house 3 days, Alas my feet felt squished no matter how I pleaded with them! The slim fit just is not what I expect from Altra...it feels like other competitor shoes... tight and narrow in the toe box. I asked myself numerous times why would Altra make a shoe like this when their gold standard is the roomy toe box? I have never felt sad sending a pair of shoes back but I did this time. Great shoe but like others are commenting, just too slim, not enough room in the toe box, overall not a good style for my feet. Please make the Outroad2 in the original fit!

I'm in health care I have gone through so many type of shoes cheap and expensive until I found Altra's my feet don't hurt or swell anymore I wish I had bought 2 instead of 1 well worth the money

I got this shoe for training and running my first marathon! I loved them so much and they're so cute! I think my next shoe is like a little more cushion but I still liked these a lot! They work great on pavement(where I did almost all my training) and trail and I've even run on snow covered paths with them and they don't slip! I'm usually a 6.5 or 7 and I got a 7.5 and it fits perfect!

I have worn Altras for years. For trail running and for all-around. I have worn a number of styles/models. Outroad is the shape and style that work best for me these days!

The size is spot on, the width doesn't make my feet sore, I love the grip they have!

I haven't worn any other shoes since I bought them. I wear them to work every day, to the gym, and on walks and hikes.

I love all the products displayed on this site. So many of the different types of shoes are awesome. No matter what I buy, it fits and it's comfortable from the time I put it on my feet. No other type of shoe has ever felt so good from the get-go. Thank you for making such a superior product. Keep up the great job!

I wear these shoes during track and cross country season. The shoes are great and they got rid of my knee pain. I am so glad I bought them and I will buy them again and again. The only thing I would change is that I would add more colors

This shoe fits like a glove. It really helped my plantar fasciitis! I've bought and worn 4 pair.

I am a faithful roadrunner but with increasing my mileage this year, I wanted something that would give me opportunity to venture out on different trails. This shoe has been perfect for that!!

These fit my feet well; lots of toe room and true to my normal size. I was pleased that the lacework was designed to avoid pressure on the top of my foot where I have a runners bump. Loved the red combo

Wore these beauties during my last two weeks of training for my first 50K and the for the race. Exactly! The perfect shoe for this trail, mainly dirt, loose gravel and, a few spots of grass. I couldn't have been happier with my shoes. I definitely felt brave:)

I am a steadfast 8.5 in all other shoes with the close risk of having a wide foot. Outroad 2 definitely runs a half size small in width and length. Happy with my 9! Comfy, light, and not too snug.

I purchased the Bravey Women's Outran 2 because I needed a new lifting shoe, but also wanted to be able to run in my classes at the gym. This sneaker is amazing!!!! It fits me perfectly and I adore the glitter and color. I can't say enough fabulous things about it and will definitely buy this style again! Highly recommend!

We love our Altra Outroads! We both have 3 pairs of Altras. They are prefect for being on our feet and treating patients all day! Highly recommended.

I love these running shoes! I use them to run outside on pavement and they are so sturdy and very comfortable and been using them everyday since! I'm so happy to have received this opportunity and share my experience!

Altra running shoes are very comfortable I like that they have plastic in front so it's strong and much better than just material that doesn't have protection . Also has soft nice feet pads and nice colors me design

These are my new go to running and walking shoes. I'm really happy with the support these shoes provide. I like the thick shoes of these shoes. Despite feeling elevated in them, my ankles are still supported. The fit of these shoes is true to size. I also really like the color options.
