I have a few of these T shirts now. They are excellent - fit really well, very comfortable, quick drying, interesting shades and stay new looking for years.

The old ones were better as all these reviews clearly indicate. I wish arcteryx would listen to their customers.

I have 7 Cormac shirts and one revised. The update is difficult for sporting activities - it is too big and especially the sleeves are too long and hang on your forearms. I thought the previous generation was just about perfect. I wouldn't buy again.

Great shirt for high output activities. The sizing is a little weird. Im too large for the medium but the large is a little too loose on me . I ended up keeping the large since its for high output activities and I like to use it for climbing. The sleeves are slightly too long but its not the biggest deal. Overall great shirt for running, hiking, climbing etc.

Terrible. Could not wear more than a few minutes due to major skin irritation, itching, and rash.

I bought over 15 of these shirts last years and wanted to get more in new colors this year. But I was surprised to find that its a completely different product now.
First, the fabric is different. It feels more like Taema's fabric, while the old version had more texture. Second, the new design is much larger. I used to wear size M, but now size M is too big in the shoulders and sleeves.
It's a pity to see Arc'teryx change this shirt in the wrong way.

I have a 2021 version of the Cormac and the XS fits perfectly - not too tight and not too loose.
I also have a 2022 version, but had to size up to a S. The 2023 version is pretty much the same cut as the 2022 - XS felt too fitted and S was a bit over-sized. I still like the Cormac for hot-weather activities, but wish they kept the same cut prior to 2022.

Excellent when out hiking, wicks away sweat, you do not get wet. Well worth the price, love the long sleeves as well. for my size XL fits exceptionally well.

Complete garbage. The old Cormac Crew was the greatest workout shirt ever made. I own 20 of them. Its quite obvious that Arcteryx decided to cut costs with the new fit. There are far less panels and the stitching is minimal. The fit is the worst part. Ive resorted to buying used versions of the older style on eBay. What a joke.

I'll start with the fact that (like most of you), I own several iterations of prior Cormac Crew SS shirts. This "Revised" edition for the current year definitely misses the mark that Arc normally hits. I don't hate the fabric, although it does seem lighter, but I was good with the prior fabric... and I really like the number of colors they offer this time. However, the fit and the sizing are just off... This was a great shirt and could easily be great if they went back to the cut of the version just prior to this one. I would buy many different colors this year, but I just can't with the cut the way it hits in the shoulders and arms. Any chance for a mid-year refresh with the old "unrevised" cut? Please???

I have been a fan of Arc'teryx for years with well over 100 different arc'teryx garments. For the past 10 years the quality seems to worsen and worsen every year, and this Cormac SS is the latest victim. I have 15 of previous generations Cormac tees, and they were all great to acceptable. This last version is abysmal, the fit is awkward as heck. Tight on the arms and loose in the the torso. The reflective strips are gone. Very disappointed...

Echoing other reviewers. Each iteration of this shirt has gotten worse. The older ones that had the reflective portion on the arm hold up better than the new ones. Ridiculously poor quality for a 70$ shirt, getting rid of the actual black color was another poor choice.

Loved the 7 previous generations Ive purchased but this new generation isnt great. Its light, but the material feels cheep and snags easily. When you get sweaty it sticks. Not a fan. Bring back the old model.

I like these shirts. I like the ones with the 1/4 zip even more. Please bring those back for spring 2024. They are like the best gym and trail running shirts Ive ever used. You wouldnt think it but even a 1/4 zip DUMPS heat when youre 6 miles into a 10 mile trail run. Or on your last set of 200 lunges.

The new version is horrible!!! The old version of the format shirt was perfect, for well, good fabric. The old version was my absolute favorite shirt and I have probably 10 of them. The new version is nothing like the old version. The new version is baggy, sleeves way too long, poor material and looks frumpy. I cant wear the new version its so horrible. PLEASE BRING BACK THE OLD VERSION!!!!

I bought this primarily for fast-paced hiking and jogging and have to say this is the most comfortable and breathable performance t-shirt that I own. I am a heavy sweater and it is critical for me to wear a t-shirt that dries quickly or else i will be drenched in sweat especially with a backpack on. This t-shirt is a savior from that aspect while still looking good. It is relaxed to allow air flow and does not restrict movement. I also appreciate that i has a matte, non-shiny look which makes it look different from other t-shirts i own.
The main downside is that compared to last years model, the one from this year has a much lower neckline which makes it look too casual/sloppy. I would suggest to bring back the design from last year to keep it looking sharp.

My son and I own several of these in a prior version and regard them as, by far, our favorite shirts for running, working out, and even just hanging out. When I ordered some new ones for my son, I saw online they were missing the reflective stripe on the sleeve, so I knew they were a new version, but I didnt see these reviews and didnt realize the fit had changed. We are extremely disappointed with the ones we received. Cant imagine why Arcteryx would change such a wonderful product, and so much for the worse. The other reviews have it right: a shirt that fit beautifully now fits poorly, with ridiculously long sleeves. (The sleeves on the size L I ordered for my son are much, much longer than the ones on my XLs in the prior version.) And why eliminate the very useful reflective stripe? I had planned to buy several more for me and my son. We are returning the ones we ordered. So disappointing to lose this great shirt.
We own lots of Arcteryx clothing that we have bought over the past 20 years and have loved all of it. Our bias had been, when looking for something new, to automatically favor the Arcteryx product. This unforced error by the Arcteryx design staff has undermined our confidence in them and eliminated that presumption for us.

I am really disappointed with Arcteryx/Veliance lately. Used to be a nice athletic cut and consistent sizes year to year. Now everything has gone from athletic cut to baggy. Cormac was a great shirt and now it is baggy in my go to size and sleeves go down to my elbow. Why is Arcteryx changing what made them great. Stay consistent in sizes and fit. I am a long time Arcteryx advocate and you are losing me.

I was really disappointed when I tried this shirt on and the sleeves almost went past my elbow. I almost returned it but was feeling lazy. I've worn it out a bit now and the material is OK. I just hate the sleeves; seems like a really stupid design decision. I definitely won't be buying another one.

I wore this T-shirt for a week straight while completing a through hike.
I own the older generation of this shirt and I agree with other reviewers that the cut is different. For a start when I first put it on I had to check if I was wearing it back to front. The back was tight and the chest was baggy. I manually stretched the fabric around the back which helped somewhat and after some tugging and pulling the fabric sat much better.
The sleeves are much longer than the previous generation and the overall fit seems somewhat off compared to the older version.
I found the fabric itself comfortable, breathable, fast drying and just above average in the odour control department, I had no issues with durability after a 100 or so mile hike with fairly heavy pack.
Overall it's so so, not as good as the old one, but just as expensive.

What is going on, Arc'teryx?? Cormac shirts have been my favorite since I can no longer get the Velox. I enjoyed the revision around 2018-2019 when it went for a less aggressive/technical cut and stitching, to a bit more "Covert" cut that looks good in any scenario.
I could wear these out on the trails or casually to the store in the humid Minnesota summers.
I've always been XL, @ 6'2 220lbs with a more muscular athletic build. But this new revision is way too casual for me. I feel like I'm wearing a moomoo. I picked up 3 of these new shirts and I'm completely bummed.
I like the colors. As others mentioned they feel thinner, so you would think they would be cooler but I haven't worn them out yet.. Highly debating returning them. In my experience they probably won't shrink enough to fit me well.
Really disappointing. Maybe Large is the new XL? I don't know.. Not sure if I want to roll the dice on ordering them again in Large.
