Such an amazing jacket! Perfect for windy and cool days on the rock! Breaths well, super lightweight, and surprisingly warm. One of my core pieces.

I recently got my hands on the Squamish jacket, and its super nice ! When I need something lightweight that can tackle windy days, this jacket is my go-to. It's not meant to keep you warm like a heavy coat, but it's perfect for cutting through wind chill. I love how easy it is to pack up and take with me on outdoor adventures without feeling weighed down. The only downside is I wish it had more pockets. I'm always looking for extra storage space, especially when I'm out and about. Overall, though, I'm super happy with my Squamish jacket. If you need a reliable windbreaker that won't slow you down, this is it!

Great water and wind resistant shell. It's meant for climbing but works really good for trail running too. Very breathable and lightweight, it's also pretty see through but who cares. I've packed it in my pocket before, this thing compresses really good and weighs less than a wallet. DWR is pretty useless, it's not a rain jacket but it doesn't permeate the material so you'll feel cold with a layer of water but you won't be wet.

Great product and a must own part of a outdoor wear collection Great for outer layer in almost any conditions and can layer underneath if necessary Run a bit on the big side.........so can decide on sizing I prefer to have layer option so went slightly bigger

I've been wearing the jacket for the last few months, and it's been excellent, predominately it's used for running both road and trails . The water repellent fabrics have held out well and is an excellent wind protecting layer for the British winter, also I'm able to wear a couple of layers underneath enabling me to regulate my temperature. It packs down great too, and the ease of it going into it's own pocket, is one less thing to remember or think about.

Fantastic wind break, super light so you don't get too hot, but it's also robust, packs down into nothing.

I was looking for a jacket for running in the winter in southern Ontario. I needed it to be stretchy and wind resistant/proof, and I was between the Squamish, Black Diamond Alpine Start, Rab Borealis and the Arc'teryx Proton Lightweight. I ended up going with the Squamish and I am very glad I did. So far I have used it in temperatures as low as -5C with windchill and as high as 5C. It has been great at both. I layered a long sleeve shirt underneath (not a thermal baselayer) and only accumulated a little bit of sweat on my 5km runs. I read that this does not breathe at all which I would disagree with. This jacket breathes quite well and I think excels at what I needed it for. I feel that I could likely use it, with layers, down to -15 or -20 no problem at all. I purchased size large and the fit is definitely trim but still generous in the midsection. I have very broad shoulders (6'1 and 235lbs) but can still layer underneath with a sweater and Atom LT size large, more snugly. The stretch is great. I really like that I can also use it for casual use due to the great fit. The jacket also feels to be great quality material so I am confident it will last. Overall very happy with this purchase!

I bought this jacket at the start of summer and mainly use it for climbing, running, hiking and cycling. It packs up really small into it's own pocket (roughly the size of 2 tennis balls) with a loop to attach to a harness. This makes it the perfect jacket for multi pitch climbing when there a light breeze to keep warm on belay. It's very thin and extremely breathable making it perfect for high output activities to cut the wind out.

Super light weight and extremely comfortable. Has been my go-to hoodie all summer as its folds up and fits in any bag. I own 2 (black and black sapphire). Please note, black sapphire is dark blue.

It's my go to for all activities that don't require a waterproof layer. Super light, conformable, great breathability, and dries out incredibly quickly. The only thing that I wish it had would be one more pocket to use for storing soft goods. But over all top quality, and it's pack down size is super convenient

It's a really good jacket to have during spring/summer/fall. I have it all the time with me and because it is so light, I can sometimes put it in my pocket.

I have had this hoodie since feb 2023 and it's a top tier lightweight windbreaker. It performs perfectly to task and it looks great. It's a great pop of color and barely weighs anything. This is now a key garment in my collection. I wore it on the west coast trail as a part of my layering system and it worked great.

I bought this for climbing and it's perfect for just that. Super light, small, and firm fitting so it doesn't get in the way. It's long enough for the harness to fit overtop and cuts down the wind just right for belays but not too hot for the climb. A few times i thought the rock would rip it but its held up strong

I bought this as a packable light jacket to take on hikes, and ended up using it as my always-carry go-to. The jacket is super breathable (I've worn it over a t-shirt in 50-80 degree weather while staying comfortable, or as a softshell over a fleece for even colder temperatures) and incredibly lightweight. Only "downside": it does alright in light rain, but it definitely won't save you from getting soaked in a downpour.

This has quickly become my go to for dry windy days in Squamish, makes sense why they named it the Squamish Hoodie. The green looks even better in person. By far my favourite item from Arc'teryx!

Lightweight, wind proof and breathable. It is the perfect mountain climate layer. Great for hikes and running. It packs up unbelievably small so it's perfect to throw in your pack. Looks and feels great too.
