Felt very large and wide on my foot. Lots of slippage at the heel.

These shoes have been great for my plantar fasciitis. The shoe is deep and has enough room for an insert- custom orthotic or the plain old Dr. Scholl's drugstore inserts that I used. Without an insole, they are cushy but likely not enough if you have foot pain. They are definitely true to size and have enough room for a wider foot like mine. The top is a stretchy material so my high arch is no problem either. They look big in general when you first get them but I have gotten used to them and wear in the house as a supportive slipper and out for errands. My other favorite brand is Oofus but these did the trick in reducing pain. And yes, the top is more of a grey than a pure black if that matters to you. Definitely recommend for a recovery shoe.

I normally wear a 8 1/2 in tennis shoe. They don’t come in 1/2 sizes , they suggest 9 . I was worried it would be big, cause they looked big! They are bulky looking but I love them !

I have bad knees and just had cortisone shots when I purchased these for an upcoming tradeshow where I knew I’d be on my feet all day. Without a doubt, these shoes (and the shots) saved me! Not for a second did I feel tired or that I had to take a break to sit. For real! I wore these out of the box for 3 days with zero problems. They are very wide looking, almost comically, but otherwise they are subtle enough to wear with almost anything.

I love Hokas, and I love shoes that look like kid's shoes, so it's a win-win. I usually wear 9W or 7.5M Hokas, but my big toe touches the front in these. Wish there were 1/2 sizes.

I ordered the Hoka Restore TC in my regular size 7 in women's. I own other Hoka shoes for walking and running, which I love wearing. When I received this style, I was very excited to wear them as my everyday shoes for running errands. When I tried them on, the width was good for a narrow to regular foot, and the toe box was a nice width too. However, the length of the shoe was shorter than the typical size 7 I usually wear. I had no choice but to returned them. :(

Feels a bit big, but not so big that I would return them. They are not attractive shoes like the ones that lace up but they will be good for flying when you have to take off your shoes going through security. I’ll add another orthotic arch support to them to make them more comfortable

I generally don't leave reviews. I am a surgeon and was looking for a more comfortable shoe option than my grizzled and blood-stained leather clogs that don't leave me with swamp feet at the end of the day. These babies seem to be just right, and I can throw them in the washing machine when they inevitably get body fluids on them.
