They were comfortable boots but ran large. My only complaint is that lacing. Because of the metal eyelets the shoe laces do not grab so you can only tighten by pulling on the top set. This results in a loose fit up the foot and a tight fit around ankles. Not a comfortable lacing.

The fit was just like my Sorel snow boots which I love, and these were perfect straight out of the box! They even looked cute on my big feet. The box arrived at 5:30 pm and I wore them that same night to a stadium concert, which is saying a lot since I have Plantar's Fasciitis, bunions, and Morton's Neuroma in both feet and I NEVER wear shoes without breaking them in first. I walked several miles and danced through half the show and my feet were warm and cozy although temps dipped into the low 40's. Can't wait to wear these on rainy autumn and winter walks with the dog. I got a similar style in tan and I might keep both pairs, but these black ones were my favorites. Thank you Sorel, and of course, thank you Zappos, my forever store for my size 12 feet!

These were comfortable, cute and waterproof! I am usually a size 6.5 but took a 6. Could not wear super thick socks but they are warm so no need to.

I read previous reviews and ordered half size bigger. Fit was perfect for me. I have a narrower foot and this shoe is a bit narrower in toe box. I like the style because it’s lighter weight and doesn’t feel clumsy. Inside is soft & warm. I can wear them all day.

I really love these boots. They'll be perfect for every-day wear! They're warm, but not 'what have I done?' warm. I'm a true 7.5 and that's what I purchased - my foot is narrow to medium so I don't see a problem with a thicker sock either. Get them.

These boots are very comfortable, so comfortable I can wear them all day. Not only that, they are nice looking and I can wear them out for shopping, etc. It is too early in the season to comment on how waterproof they are, but hopefully they are and that will make them 100% great.

Cute little boots for running around in. The green is a great color. Seem warm, so don’t have to wear thick socks. Would have had to go up an extra half size past my normal boot size of 8.5 if I wanted to wear heavy socks.

Very soft and warm. They seem true to size. I can't wait to wear them when the temperatures drop this winter.

These feel so very comfortable - very happy with them. Love that they are also waterproof. Looking forward to the Fall so I can really get to wearing them out! The green color was true to the photo and perfect for jeans or leggings.

I love these boots. They are very comfortable right out of the box. These boots are much roomier than other Sorels I bought previously but won't be too big with a thick pair of hiking socks. Would definitely recommend.

I think these fit true to size, I took my regular size. They feel really sturdy and like they will be warm, and I think they're stylish! Very comfortable and supportive.

I purchased these to walk around in the cold weather. My feet are cold in Uggs with thick socks and they were warm in regular athletic socks all day long in these Sorel's. I would recommend these to anyone with the same issue. Bonus that they are waterproof!
