Best investment I've ever made in shoes. My plantar fasciitis is almost non existent. I will be ordering more Hoka's in other colors down the road

This is my second pair of Gaviota 5 shoes. Much better than on-clouds and Brooks. They only shoes I will purchase from now on. I do a lot of standing and walking at work.

After searching for over a year for a pair of shoes that I can walk in without pain, I finally found them! I have had plantar fasciitis for over a year. Been to the podiatrist twice, three cortisone shots later, and still struggling to find the right footwear. I put these on and instantly am relieved of pain in my foot. I'm not kidding you! They are as light as a feather. I bought the citrus glow/sunlit ocean because I couldn't pass up the beautiful color! They are a fashion statement for sure. Now I need a black pair because I don't want to get these dirty wearing them outside. Thank you, Hoka!

This was my first time trying Hoka's. The shoes were great and everything the hype said they were. Quality materials and construction. The soles were supportive and cushioned (without being spongy), and the shoes are shaped to the foot. I do have my own orthodics, which have higher arches, so I would say the insole of these Hoka's had a medium arch. I ordered both a W and M. I wear a 6.5W in New Balance. These in 6.5W felt like triple wides. I am hoping the Ms will fit as needed. This is the first time I have experienced too much room in a sneaker. Lastly, this style is lower around the sides of the heel than the going trend, so they were comfortable around the heel, too (the sides did not ram my ankle bones or scrape the back of my heel). The sole, heel, footbed, materials, and construction have me hoping that Hoka can be my new brand if the Mediums fit me.
I'd also recommend:
New Balance, Dansko

I actually said "aaaah" as I slipped into these shoes - that has never happened before. Only owned them now for 2 days - so far so good - hope the "aaaah" lasts!

I am almost at the point of buying new ones, but these shoes have been absolutely amazing! I LOVE them. I switched from the Arahis to these and while I like both, these are my favorite! I walk a lot and I have over pronating, wide, flat feet and these have been perfect for that. The few runs I've had in these haven't been too bad either!

My daughter's back was hurting, so I bought some walking shoes and now she's in love and will not take them off. Thanks

I bought these when a podiatrist advised me to look into them. They are very supportive, fit well, are stable, and just generally make my feet feel so much better than my previous shoes.

Right now, these shoes (Hokas Gaviotas 5) are the only shoe I can wear. My foot structure/arches are collapsing after a successful ankle tendon repair surgery last August. They give me support and pain relief.

So far this shoe has been the best support, best color and like the padding. I was hesitant to try because I love the the padding of the bondi. Hope the padding lasts as long. I only wish that they made it with a narrow option and more muted color options.

I am on my feet everyday. I am flat footed and have had feet issues my entire adult life! And I have had to wear custom orthotics in every single pair of shoes no matter what brand! My daughter recommended Hokas. I was very hesitant to buy because of the cost. I had never spent over $100 for me a pair of shoes! Now for my children that was a different story! This is my 4th pair! My first pair was really to small and it was a size 11. And I had worn them a couple of times so I really didn't realize that I could exchange them! So I gave them to my daughter, and I bought another pair in a size 12! And I am happy to say I love them and I DO NOT have to wear any orthotics at all!!!! So I am a Hoka person and I recommend them to anyone! I tell them they are pricey but if your feet do not hurt then it's worth it!!!

Have several pair of Clifton 9, but these are the best for walking. Need the wide toe box due to bunions. Would highly recommend! You will love them!

For 35 years, I’ve had a job where I stand on concrete for most of the day. Hoka shoes are by far the most supportive shoes I’ve had. My feet don’t hurt on the end of my day.
