I am a surgical first assistant in the operating room I work 12 hr shifts, mostly standing. Aesics are my go to shoes and have been for the last 6 years. They are comfortable, my feet do not hurt even after a long shift and there is no break in period; they are comfortable right from the start. This is the only brand I will ever wear.

so far I have probably logged around 50 or so miles in the shoes, and I am impressed by the durability and versatility of the shoe. it is very aesthetically pleasing to look down during my runs and see the style. even though it is designed for trails I find myself running a lot on the roads with that and they work well trails also work pretty good great grip bouncy to give me the extra power during my run.

These are a great gravel road running shoe and perfect for those long runs. If you're looking for a shoe for both trails and roads, these are it. They are very cushioned with good stability.

These shoes are just the best for running on gravel. I walk and run on gravel road that is uneven and this shoe has enough cushion to make it much more comfortable and I’ve been able to improve my time. I have flat feet that tend to roll in and was fitted at a shoe store and these were the recommendation. Normally I wear a 9 and had to get an 8.5 in these.

True to size. Good support and cushiony inner sole. I wore these all over Morocco and Prague. Am buying again!

Asics always fit my feet well, I try lots of different brands and always come back here, and I really love the colors and the "hidden" colors that you don't see unless you really look at the shoe. I have to MAKE myself not go online and look because I would have more shoes than I know what to do with. Great product.

These seem to be quite comfortable and I will admit, very stylish. Let’s see how they hold up. They feel pretty true to size, im a 9 in asics, 9.5 in nike.

Very comfortable for a trail shoe. I needed good arch support and these fit the bill. They did take a couple of days to break in.

These shoes are amazing - they feel so light and bouncy, in the best way! 10/10 recommend!

These shoes are comfortable and cute, although the lip of the shoe is too thin and doesn't have enough padding so it kind of hurts my ankles if I tie my laces too tight. I've bought these in the past and they had more cushion on the lip.

Love the look of Nature Bathing/Rose Rouge color combination but these feel a little larger than size.

I am extremely disappointed with the new Asics GT 2000 12 TR. I have been a loyal Asics GT 2000 trail runner for many years and never think of switching to another brand, until now. My main issue is that there is absolutely no padding in the top of the tongue. As a result the tongue and lacing digs into the foot ankle crease with every step Unfortunately i did not realize this flaw until I wore the shoes for a run and so they cannot be returned. I called and spoke to two different customer service people who offered no solution but to sell them. I feel I should have been offered a refund.

The fit is good, but I miss the tread of earlier trail shoes. The shoe laces are wild pink, green and black. Not much color overall on the shoe. The shoes of the same size are now fitting larger than the last 6 pairs of ASICS I bought. When I filed a claim about a different pair, submitted pictures, comparisons of other shoes, there was always an excuse from customer service as to why they could not give a store credit or send me a correctly sized pair.

These are great like the older 2000 11 version but with a little more cushion in the heal. The biggest difference is they are a little wider than the previous version in the toe box.

I have worn Kayano's or GT2000 for over 20 years; love this TR version because I run primarily on a combination of gravel paths and road! So glad I tried them when I was due for a new shoe this time around - solid stability and cushion. Only complaint is the light color - for a trail shoe?! They are going to show the dirt very quickly as compared to a darker color option, but love the idea of nature inspired color palette.

I have only worn Asics GTs for the last several years, as I had significant back issues. I tried ordering this Trail GT shoe, as I LOVED the color/look, and hoped it would be a good fit. But, after trying to convince myself it would work for me, I realize ii simply will not. I didn't find the arch support to be as good, as the regular GT's., and I felt it threw my balance off a bit. Finding shoes that work for me, is not easy. But the regular Asics GT's really are awesome for fit/support, and I will have to just stick with them in the future. Hoping to see the color in the GT series soon!! :)
I'd also recommend:
Asics, Brooks

Comfortable shoe, not a fan of the new laces. The texture and lacing them up was easier with the old style laces.

I've been wearing this series of trail runners for 23 years because they are the only shoe that helps my overpronation. The left shoe has absolutely no structure, and 2 miles into my 2nd run, the outside of my foot across from arch began hurting. Badly. I was in pain for the next 3 days. I've contacted Asics multiple times and filed a Warranty dispute. Crickets. "We don't accept returns after they've been worn." Well how the heck do you know there's a problem unless you wear them?? Very disappointed in this model, much more disappointed with Asics failure to do the right thing.

I always wear these shoes in an 8.5 but these are HUGE and wide on me. Very very weird. Been wearing these same shoes forever. Will send back. They got the width and sizing wrong on these.
