Waiting to have both hips replaced and these are by far the most comfortable shoes I've had yet. They are keeping me moving!

Like some of the reviewers, I have been running on GEL-Kayanos since they first appeared. Had moments of seeking greater cushioning with Nimbus, Novablast and others, but always kept a numbered Kayano in the rotation. The 30s are outstanding; for my money, the best version so far. Perhaps it is the reinforced and subtle shape change to the toe box that has folks saying they run smaller than previous, but I found the rest of the shoe a glove-like fit. Go half size larger if in doubt; the stability, bounce, cushioning, breathability, and light weight are worth it.

Its basically too cushy. The stability and responsiveness isn't there and it feels like too much of a slog when I want to pickup pace; even as an everyday trainer. The previous version controlled much better and competitors do the modern stability (no hard points) better.

Comfortable and supportive. Width is perfect . Size may be a hair tight . I ordered a half size larger in the all black as soon as they were available . Great for walking.

Finally no knee pain from running! I have suffered from runner's knee for years most likely due to the fact I have been using shoes that were not built for stability. Kayano 30 is an excellent stability shoe with the right amount of cushioning. Love this shoes and is highly recommended!

Awesome. Great support and stability with flexible forefoot.

This is a totally new Gel-Kayano. Lighter, thicker sole, and "softer" feel. But it still provides good stability along with even better comfort and nice "bounce" in the step. I much prefer it over the Gel-Kayano 29, and so far is my favorite model yet (and I have been running in Gel-Kayanos for the last ten years, and purchased every model).

The best of the Gel line; I've had them since the Gel 24, and buy new ones every year. I'm 84 and I still walk a lot, and they cope with my orthotics well, and are comfortable for 4 miles at a stretch.

Not as light or reactive foam as the gel-kayano 29s

Very stable running shoe. A little tight to put on, but fits like a glove once you get on.

Durable and good for running shoes and not to expensive

Have loved the Gel-Kayano for many years, but the new Gel-Kayano 30 is a especially comfortable and well made. Superb shoe and great value!

I was really happy with my choice of shoes. I do a lot of walking for work and it holds up very well. I believe its more breathable then my adidas ultra boost which is a big plus for me.

The shoe seemed nice but definitely ran small in the toe box. Previous shoes in this model were not as tight

ASICs are the most comfortable shoes Ive ever worn.

Impression after first run: Slight burn on the balls of my feet at mile 1. Did not get much worse. Not as bad as I expected with a brand new pair of running shoes. Overall impression reminds me of the first time I ever saw Kathy Ireland on the cover the SI swimsuit edition when I was in 7th grade. Immediately fell in love. As much as I dislike the previous iteration, thats how much I like these. If they break in like I expect them to, I could very well be looking at a new favorite pair of shoes. The ride is super comfortable. I hope that the cushion holds up for a several hundred miles. I was expecting to feel bogged down, but I wasnt. The cushion spring return with each step was quite noticeable. My biggest fear is the foam breaking down and feeling like Im have to pull my foot out of a pillow. Optimistically hopeful.

Very good and sturdy workout and running shoe. its great for bunions and fallen arches. it helps plantar fasciitis as well. This by far is one of the best for med to severe bunions. The cushioning is by far, the best ever!

Thought I would try the Kayano 30 for the extra support even after being pleasantly surprised by the Nimbus 25. The Kayano were much stiffer than I thought they would be and immediately went back to my Nimbus 25s. I wear an extra wide and as usual that width in the Kayano had awful color options.

Support is much improved. My plantar fasciitis pain is minimized and can run almost pain free.
