I have wide-ish feet and a bunion on one foot. I’m a solid size 9M Womens, and the boot fit slightly loose if with thin socks and fit perfectly with thick socks plus a little room to spare in length. My main issue with comfort was at the top of the boot sitting at the lower third of my shins. It cuts into the back of my calf when I walk. It gets better over time with hairdryer heat stretching of the material, but it doesn’t give that much, even if loosening the laces at the tying off point. The leather is stiff throughout the boot due to the design, which is outstanding.

Have several pairs of Dr. Martens, some over 20 yrs old, but this is my first pair of boots and I'm really pleased with the fit and comfort. The Great Wave off Kanagawa design makes these boots even more awesome if thats possible. Look forward to wearing them more.

These Dr Martens look amazing they fit a smidge big. But I know if I go down a size they may be too tight.

Very cool boot. I am a true 6 and bought a 6. It was simply too big. I tried putting in an insole, wearing a thicker sock, etc. It looks just like the picture on the site. I am truly bummed it didn't work for me.

Stunning boots!

This is one of my top favorite art prints so I was so excited to see the boot. I really love the look and was surprised how comfy they are. They look just as fabulous with a dress as they do with jeans. I absolutely LOVE!!!

Obsessed with these! My first pair of Doc Martens, so I’m still learning. First of all, gorgeous. Caveat, the upper part is quite stiff, which is from my research to be expected. I’ve been wearing them with thick socks just around the house for now, and it’s getting better. Apparently most leather conditioners will darken the leather, which obviously wouldn’t be good in this case. So I’m hoping regular light wear will make them suitable for extended walks. Minor but sweet: the box they come in is just as pretty! Would make a lovely gift.

I normally wear a 9 in women's shoes, but the 9 for the Great Wave Doc Martens was way too big. I got the 8 and they fit well. The shoes look amazing and I absolutely love them!

size is good; fit will be better when worn with thick socks because the top of the "high top" at ankle is rough. I'd prefer the fabric to be softer, but hopefully in time and wear it will become so.

These boots are fabulous! Comfortable and stylish, they're my favorite docs.

Surprisingly fit

Fit is great. The material is stiff, so it rubs on the lower calf/top of ankle. Hoping it will soften and become less abrasive. Otherwise love the boots!

Such beautiful boots but almost a size too big. :( I have owned over 20 pairs of Docs since the mid 90s and it seems like they are running larger… sad to see them go but must return.

They look amazing, but are smaller than my other Doc's and are so stiff I am worried they will never break in. Love the style, but sad to say I am sending these back.
