Great shoe. Testers are wrong, these shoes have a laser focus to get you training hard with great cushion, speed, and fun. They will make you want to train. The carbon pushes you into the toe off, and the peba plus powerrun insert make a fantastic bounce with cushion. If you want to go 5-endurance, get these and WORK HARD!

Interesting and paradoxical shoe that actually works! This is a high-stack trainer with super-shoe characteristics. Despite the high stack, don't expect a pillowy cushion. This is a Kinvara and with that comes stiffness, snug fit, and a level of aggressiveness that is atypical in trainers. On the first run, I immediately felt the Kinvara roots, and despite this looking to be a much different shoe than the minimalist Kinvara 14, the Kinvara Pro has that Kinvara running experience in it. The already fairly stiff PWRRUN outsole is further reinforced by the carbon plate, and the PWRRUN PB super-foam above it provides a responsive and pleasant cushion. This shoe is very stable, and I also feel its plated geometry would lend itself well to power walking. I would not consider this an easy-run shoe. When running in the Kinvara Pro, my pace is typically 0:30 per mile faster than my usual cruising speed. It requires a bit more mindfulness when running, just like the Kinvara 14 does. It does not tolerate heel-striking very well, but I feel its geometry disciplines you, the runner, towards a better running form, and once achieved, the Kinvara Pro is really a joy to run in. Thanks to these characteristics, I still feel that Kinvara Pro has that unique quality of promoting self-correcting gait that the Kinvara 14 possesses, despite the Pro being large and bulky high-stack shoe. How could I compare this shoe to others? First, I think the Kinvara Pro is a rightful replacement for the Endorphin Shift 3, despite the 4mm drop difference. If there is another shoe that I am reminded of when running in the Kinvara Pro it is the Endorphin Shift 3. If you liked the Shift 3, but perhaps felt it could be a little better, the Kinvara Pro appears to address all of those issues in my experience. How does it compare to something like the Triumph 21? It is an entirely different animal. The Triumph is a forgiving, extra cushioned, and enabling shoe with a wide speed latitude, while the Kinvara Pro is a determined disciplinarian with unwavering demands, and it performs best at a certain higher running pace. Does the Kinvara Pro work? It absolutely does, and I also feel it works out my calves nicely, which further helps my running form and gait. Highly recommended, but not for absolute beginners.

I bought these a month ago and these are by far the best running shoes I've purchased. The cushion helped reduce alot of knee and foot pain from running.

Anti gravity shoes! So much spring with the full Carbon plate added my own half insole to keep my heel down . Referee national soccer tournament in this beautiful shoe that propelled me to best in class as others asked just where can I find a shoe like that ?

This is exactly the show I needed. I've been dealing with some foot ailments where I need to minimize toe flexion. I haven't been able to run for about a year (and have largely been limited to walking). Not only are these shoes incredibly comfortable, they've enable me to run again (orthotic free!).

Love this shoe - great amount of cushioning and nice responsive feel. This has been my go to shoe for longer road runs.

I love Kinvara running shoes. This is my third pair I am 81 years old and I walk 5 to six miles everyday. The shoe is light with cushion soles which makes it very comfortable. This is the best shoe of all the shoe companies.

So part of me wondered which pair of shoes to buy for this year, and let me tell you, it took a while before I chose this pair! I hate how narrow running shoes are because they feel like you're stepping onto bear traps.
Not this pair! I been walking for at least 50 km in this pair of shoes so far, and my knees don't creak plus my heels don't scream in agony. I do wish there are more colourful options, but for now, black is the safest bet for my wardrobe.
Now here's what you guys should ask yourselves: "Do I buy this for comfort or for style?"
The better question would be, "Why not both?"

This is one of my go to race day pair. There is enough cushion for the run on a 70.3 race. Although I really like the feel of this shoes. I am still testing others.

Great shoe. Only knock is string length is short when heel locking and double knotting, which is small potatoes.

Wow! I am a fluffy runner not a slim 200lb but a Husky 250lb. I cried a bit when the Shift was Discontinued but found my new love in a hurry with the Kinvara Pro. This shoe is awesome, only shoe I have found that does not bottoms the foam out under a "Heavy Load"and is sable as I ramp up to my max speed of 5.5MPH. Only suggestion is the wide is narrow and need more colors in wide, just becouse I am fluffy with Hobbit feet doesn't mean I don't deserve some killer colors.

Kinvara Pro are the best running shoes I've ever worn, much better than all the many other Sauconys & other brands I've tried.

I've been waiting for a 2E shoe with a carbon plate. Most of my running to this point has been in Saucony Guides, Hurricanes, and Tempus. While training for my first half marathon last year, I had sore feet after long runs with the Guides, so I tried the Tempus, and they provided a bit more cushioning. Online reviews for 2E shoes for half marathon suggested the nylon plated Endorphin Speed 3. I purchased a pair and used them in the 1/2 Marathon. My legs and feet felt better at 10 mile plus distances. Then the Kinvara Pro came out, with a carbon plate, and in 2E size. Zappos had a one day 33% off on Saucony shoes last month, so I got a pair of size 10's in 2E width. I have used them for for two long runs (9 & 10 miles) and my feet and legs felt good at the end. I will use them for my next 1/2 Marathon in April.
Like other reviewers, I wish Saucony would offer more that black shoes in 2E.

Perfect neutral cushion trainer, except it's a little narrow. Wide version is only in black and out of stock in my size (12.5). Plate seems to provide a little structure that prevents mushy roll over and yet it's not at all clunky or too heavy. Just please move the toe box transition up. Pinky toes have blisters after long runs. I came from Endorphin Speed 3 which are great but lack some structure and durability for daily training compared to the Kinvara PRO. Amazing shoe thank you. Please let me know when I can get them in wide. Sigh.

This shoe is an awesome daily trainer. And that's the key. It feels very nice and comfortable to run in mile after mile at a moderate to easy pace or about 8-10min/mile pace. Anything slower than that you need a max and anything faster it becomes less rewarding so that would be endorphin territory. The vast majority of YouTube shoe reviewers are super skinny lightweight dudes so their thoughts are informative, but not accurate for hybrid athletes with more muscle mass or normal people in general. I'm 6ft, 210lbs and I put more energy into the shoe than the 140lb dudes. It rewards midfoot striking and has a nice roll from midfoot to toe off. Speed roll geometry feels great. Forefoot strikers won't get much energy return or feel from the plate. Wish it had more PB foam, but overall the shoe is a fantastic daily trainer that makes me excited to go out for a run.
