I usually steer clear of designated diaper bags and have traditionally used a large or medium tote bag from another brand with pockets on the inside. Although I didn't need another bag, I saw this and decided to take the plunge.
I have 2 kids in diapers. A 2.5+ year old and a 10 month old. The best part about this bag is it is wider than it is tall. This ensures that nothing gets totally lost on the bottom. The only other designated diaper bag I've bought in the past couple years was taller than it was wide and I could never find anything. The fact that it is a backpack allows me to have my hands free and wrangle my two kids.
In the photos, I have a change of clothes for each kid, 6 or so disposable diapers, various wipes, bibs, a changing pad, and a couple blankets I use as burp cloths and whatever else is needed. There is ample room in the bag for more. I've easily stuffed coats, toys and lots of other things for a day out. We also cloth diaper and there is ample room for a wet bag and quite a few diapers. I use the front upper pocket for my wallet, keys, and other necessities.
The changing pad that comes with it is pretty terrible so I've cast it aside. I use one of my washable ones I sew and it fits great rolled up inside. I use the back "laptop sleeve" as a pocket and due to the flexibility of the bag, I fit diapers and wipes back there. There are also two good size slip pockets in the main compartment. I love the small zipper pouch that's included for organizing small items.
The cooler bag is actually pretty well insulated for an insulated compartment. Usually they're so flimsy and don't actually insulate but this one actually does the job. I throw a small ice pack and usually one or 2 8 oz bottles in it. They stay pretty cold, though I feel like if it was warmer out I'd definitely go back to my lunchbox and more ice packs. Works fine for trips out during New England winter right now though.
The side water bottle pockets fit my toddlers 12 oz water bottle and my 16oz stainless bottle. The front slip pocket is great for my phone and some tissues.
By far my favorite bag I've ever used as a diaper bag. Great quality zippers and the bag itself is well made. Doesn't scream diaper bag and can definitely be used for many years.

This diaper bag can hold as much as any person is willing to carry. It is fabulous for day to day, trips to the beach, on the plane, etc. The massive inside can hold ooodles of diapers, comes with a small zipper pouch, and padded changing mat, a nice padded sleeve to slip your laptop or tablet into, and 2 smaller pockets for things like diaper cream, snacks, etc. there's a smaller pouch with a lanyard to attach your keys that also fits my wallet and cell phone nicely with a pair or 2 of sunglasses. The cooler can easily hold 5 narrow Dr. Brown type bottles, and there is a sleeve in it as well. There's 2 outer water bottle sleeves, and a large sleeve in the front to slide something in quickly. The clips on the straps are great for attaching to a stroller, wagon or shopping cart. The material is durable, easily wipes down, and lightweight. I can fit everything I need for my family of 4 easily into here for a nice little day trip. I absolutely love this bag, the only thing would be a chest clip, and a cooler part big enough to fit a wide mouth bottle.

I wanted so bad to see more reviews before I purchased this bag. I pulled the trigger and bought, and I am happy I did. I pack for a 6 month old and 5 year old with Autism. So I have LARGE pull ups, and size 3 diapers. This bag fits 3 of each, a wipes pack, a 10 inch kindle, toys, a packing cube with clothing options, and a small blanket, a packing cube with a harness, and 2 yetis - a 12 oz, and a 18 oz.
I am not the biggest fan of the cooler on the front, I wish it was a mom pocket, but I feel like it was designed well.
Very easy to put on and off, easy to hook to a shopping cart, wagon or stroller.
I wish that we could add a chest strap, or a messenger strap.
The website pictures suck, there are 2 slip pockets inside, a bag, changing pad, and slip pocket for laptop. there is a pouch with key leash on the front above the cooler. there is a pocket in the cooler, and on the outside.
overall 5/5 - and I have literally tried and returned dozens of diaper bags. I'm keeping this one.

Amazing - bought for great grandsons shower gift and filled it with a lot of necessities. It's amazing! Holds so much and well organized. Especially loved the thermo insulate pockets for food & bottles.

We got this as a gift before our twins were born (I hadn't done any research into diaper bags), and 6 months in it is going strong! We exclusively cloth diaper and it has enough space to have several diapers per kid plus extra clothes, blanket, milk (although the "chunky" medela bottles are hard to fit in the cooler compartment, dr brown fit fine), and pumping gear. The interior is a white/light blue print, which makes it easier to find stuff than if it was a black lined hole. The extra sturdy zipper is great for when I also need to mash a carrier in! The only problem is you can't get a Nalgene-style liter bottle in the exterior pocket. The flat one out front is great for doctor visits where they give you a printout. We actually loaded it up and used it as the babies' hospital bag ahead of their arrival, and I can see it holding up until they are beyond needing a change of clothes every time we leave the house.

This bag is a great overall size. Having a wider bag allows for quicker access and doesn't allow for items to get lost at the bottom of the bag. The build quality seems very solid along with the zippers feeling robust.

I spent A LOT of time searching for the right diaper bag, as I knew that I would be using it daily/for multiple years. I was seeing a lot of sponsored ads for the Lululemon, Beis, and Dagne Dover diaper bags, which I really liked, but couldn't wrap my mind around spending $200 on a diaper bag!! I ended up finding this bag and I am so glad I did! The bag is large enough to fit all of the essentials + toys, snacks, food mats, and more. I love that the two inside pockets help keep things organized, and that the bag comes with a changing pad and extra zipper bag for dirty diapers/clothing. The front zipper words great for holding diaper cream/paci's/other small misc items. I agree with other reviews that the cooler is a bit tight, but it really hasn't been a problem for us. We can easily fit a few bottles and apple sauce pouches in the cooler for when we are on the go. I did not necessarily care for the look of the double strap across the top, but they have actually been super practical - we use them to carry the bag all the time! Lastly, the straight across zippers are amazing. Before having a child, I didn't realize how important it was to be able to open a zipper with one hand HA but turns out it is very important! Overall, the size, bonus items, and functionality of this diaper bag are amazing. I couldn't recommend this diaper bag enough!
*My husband also really likes this bag! He likes that the design isn't super "girly", the straps are comfortable for him, and the bag fits his 6'5" frame well. 10 out of 10.

I love this diaper bag. I was unsure at first due to the size and spent a lot of time looking. For the cost of most diaper bags on the market compared to this bag, it is a stand out option in my opinion. I no longer think its too big! That was my first impression, but after using it for a few months, I actually enjoy the size. I do wish the bottle section was slightly recessed into the bag so it did not stick out so much, but honestly it doesn't bother me anymore. You can fit 4 bottles if wide, 5 if skinny. Bottle section is very insulated and has a mesh sleeve to hold a thin ice pack.
The main section is very large and very simple, pocket for changing pad and two large pockets for storage. I use packing cubes for diapers and extra clothes. Fits daily needs with ease and room to throw extra things in when needed without redoing your daily things. Easy to find what you are looking for, wide and not too deep. Also great for overnight trips, can fit a lot when needed.
Middle pocket is great for parent essentials, phone keys wallet sunglasses. I do wish the middle compartment had the fabric stitched away from the zipper more. Fabric got stuck in zipper a bit at first but has seemed to improve with use.
I love being able to grab by handles when needed or wear as backpack, sits very comfortably on back. The zippers on this bag are very high quality and easy to zip.
A few months in and I am very happy with purchase, this bag will last for life and can definitely be used for other things once you no longer need a diaper bag.
Checkbook in pics for size reference.

We are going from one child to two very soon so I was looking for a spacious diaper bag that was also more rugged for our outdoor activities and travel (as well as being something my husband wouldn't mind carrying as well). I have purchased four diaper bags in the past but each was lacking in certain features. This bag seems to have hit every one of those wishes! First, it is spacious enough to tote whatever you really would want and you can easily see inside the bag since it is much wider and shallower than an average diaper bag. There are also not too many interior pockets (I have found that when you have too many you just treasure hunt around for what you are looking for) which simplifies searching. The exterior seems very rugged and toughall of my diaper bags have taken a beating but this one seems like it will stand up to a lot of abuse. The zippers are easy to pull and the straps are very comfortable (this was a major issue I've had with most of my diaper bagseither zero padding or minimal padding). The exterior mesh pocket fits wipes perfectly and keeps them at hand. I'm super happy with this purchase. My only complaint is the handle at the top can get in the way of unzipping the bag but it's so minor that it didn't warrant a reduction to four stars. Thanks for making a great outdoor-oriented diaper bag that isn't ridiculous looking or over two hundred dollars.

Coming from someone who is very picky about bags, this bag is spacious, yet organized, it feels high quality while using it, space for both baby things and personal things, if needed. Comfortable to wear and happy with the versatility. It doesn't have a typical diaper bag look, which I love. A good purchase, for sure.

We have had this bag only for a week, but compared to our previous bag it is top-notch. We love the look of the bag - we got it in green. The zippers are durable and easy to pull. The bag is very comfortable to have on your back and has good straps positioned to carry the bag like a briefcase. It has all the pockets and compartments you would expect. It doesn't look like a big bag, but there is so much room in the main compartment.

Best diaper bag we have ever had! We have tried many diaper bags that couldn't fit everything we wanted. Room for everything you need - diapers, creams, burp cloths, wipes, toys, food, & bottles. If you use the narrow bottles you can easily fit five within the cooler section.

Love this backpack. It's bigger than I expected which made it excellent for travel or planning a full day out with packed food etc. Would even work well for more than one child. I like how durable it is with well thought out pockets. The diaper pad that comes with is a little small and kind of useless but the little interior zip bag is great for diapers and wipes. I love the clips on the shoulder straps that make it a breeze to clip the bag to my stroller. We have also used it as an impromptu booster seat when in a pinch. It is definitely a very functional bag I am sure I will use it a weekender after I no longer need it as a diaper bag. My only thought would be I wish it could zip smaller like a suitcase when not using all the space or for quick outings. Otherwise excellent diaper bag / backpack.

I received this diaper bag for Christmas and requested it mainly because we just had a boy and it match his fly fishing nursery theme! I was completely shocked with the size of it! It's huge but yet still compact enough that it's not bulky. Plenty of space to fit everything for my newborn and toddler as well as my stuff! Great quality too!

I honestly don't know why this diaper bag doesn't appear on "best of" lists for parents. Its the perfect size, stylish and I like the way it is organized. The main compartment has more than enough space for a couple blankets, wipes, diapers, toys, my nursing cover, extra outfits, stroller fan, etc. and the pockets inside keep everything from getting disorganized. When packed with all of that, there is still room to spare. I wish the second compartment was a little deeper but it's a great place to stash my wallet, pacifiers and other things you might want quick access to and a few other essentials for me if I don't want to carry a purse (my smaller purses will also fit in the main compartment when I'm trying to condense the items I'm carrying). The insulated compartment on the front fits 3 glass Philips Avent bottles or 4 Dr. Browns skinny bottles comfortably plus two skinny ice packs that fit nicely in the sleeve. It has kept bottles cold for up to 8 hours, haven't tested it longer than that. Have also worn it all day with no back pain. Extra pockets on the outside are great for quickly stashing things when you often have only one hand free or are great for a bottle/water bottle. Its size and shape are also really great for travel- fits perfectly beneath an airplane seat and doesn't take up much room in an overhead bin.

This is our fourth.yes, FOURTH diaper bag and it is by far the best and last one we will ever need. We have had it a few weeks now and it is a game changer the largest compartment is big enough to hold everything yet still be able to grab whatever you need with ease. The changing mat has saved the day in many non baby changing friendly areas. I love love love the compartment for the parents in the front it's easy access and larger than the other bags we have tried! The insulated pouch in the front is by far the best in comparison to other bags, it is like a built in insulated lunch box! Lastlymy favorite part! The BUILT IN STROLLER STRAPS. no more searching for your clips, that are always there and ready! Not to mention it is comfortable and could be used after babies as a regular back pack.

I bought 2 of these for my son and son-in-law, who are new papas. The colors just looked right for the guys and I thought they would be more willing to help out if they had their own luggage! Number of compartments is great, so is the lining, the inclusion of the changing pad, and the quality of the materials. I filled both bags with necessary equipment and wrapped them up. The guys were excited.

I was eyeing this bag for about 2 years while using an old book bag and not wanting to invest in a "diaper bag". I finally sunk the funds and held my breath. It came. It was wide(which I was excited about because even with my compartment bags, in a normal back pack I was still struggling to dig and find everything. The wide opening allowed me to line up all my compartments label up and all I need to do I open and pull. I use the smaller llbean toiletry bags and slide them in sideways fitting 4. I put handle side up and have a fabric labels saying diapers/wipes, mom and dad stuff, food and utensils, first aid/ meds. I slide wet bag in where changing pad is and I leave out due to kiddo doing stand up changes. And keep on outfit in there. I put it on and the weight distribution is a savior for your back. So comfy. Also, I dump out and use if I need to travel and he is with grandparents. Went to Bahamas for 4 days with just this bag. It fit three med compression bags and my personals on top zipper compartment. Boom! It is nice looking too. Sleek and I would not ever guess it is a diaper bag. The only thing I would change is the front insulated thing. Cannot fit much in there but enough room inside to fit a food bag;)
