Really really like this shoe! The color ‘tan’ is solidly a British tan, which so much in my wardrobe goes with. All the vamp detail (cross band, tassels, ‘narrow’ top piece with top stitching) visually shorten the length of the foot (great for us women with larger feet). Though I am the hard-to-find size 10 1/2, the 10 I ordered fits almost perfectly, but with little room to spare for a sock. There are a number of rub points (heel edge) that might make at least a ped sock necessary. I’ve got ‘thin’ feet, with some metatarsal (joint) bone impingement. The toe box, which actually looks almost narrow because of the detailing, is in reality nicely wide enough inside. The arch support isn’t great, but that’s where my personal insoles can fix it if it bothers me. This shoe will look fab with my skinny jeans and Dooney Bourke steel blue bag with British tan trim!

I’m a 7.5 shoe size but had to size down to a 7. Fits perfect and love the shoes.

Fabulous, really well-made shoes! I’ve received MANY compliments. I bought the color that looks British tan. Goes fab w navies (esp. jeans), loden greens, browns, khaki skorts, and my Dooney Bourke structured bags! Great widish toe box, though the lateral design elements and top stitched vamp detail make the shoe look narrow. Great almost-lug-sole tread. I took my time breaking them in over a few weeks to be sure they’d perform during a long late spring trip to Colorado (including long concourse air travel). As challenged a traveler you can imagine, my feet only complained the Redeye I returned on! I wore thick peds, but will definitely pair w socks and thick winter tights when fall comes again. Worth the price.

This shoe runs very large and it is heavy so get a snug fit size...

Great fit true to size. They are slight snug when first put on for the day but stretch as you wear. Excellent loafer for dressing up or down. I get compliments every time I wear this shoe!

ordered this shoe in 1/2 size smaller than usual. Comfortable, look good with both skirts and pants.

This is actually a great shoe. They felt very good and were stylish. I sent them back because my husband said they look like golf shoes and I guess they kind of do. I was really on the fence about these but ended up returning them.

Reviews say it was large so I ordered a 1/2 size down. The shoe I received was 1/2 size too small! Darn. I needed to order my true size but it was sold out. It was worth a try because the shoe is adorable and comfortable.

I bought the Steve Madden Minka loafer because it’s a tassel loafer with a semi-lug sole. Unfortunately I did return it because it was a bit snug. I usually wear a 6.5-7 in most shoes with a wide foot, and I think a 7 would have fit better. My little toes were a tad pinched. Based on some reviews, I thought I could do a 6.5, but for me, I need a 7 (which is out of stock). Both the brown leather and black leather are gorgeous! The black leather is more shiny and the brown more smooth. The shoe looks way more expensive than it is. This shoe has beautiful detailing. I did find it kinda’ stiff, but if I kept it, it likely would loosen up. Overall a gorgeous shoe, fits TTS (for me) and slightly narrow for my wide foot, although that could change if I tried a 1/2 size up. Beautiful shoe tho! Major preppy vibes reminding me of the later 80’s and early 90’s!

So far this is a great comfortable loafer. I did not give it 5 stars b/c the heel feels wide - while the front of the shoe fits great. Great casual shoe.

I ordered the 6M and it was too small for my left foot. I ordered the 6.5M and it was like the shoe was 2 sizes larger. I don't know if they were from a separate manufactured batch, but a .5 difference in size felt more like 2 sizes difference.

My daughter wears these for school and she tripped in the top step at school and her heels popped off. I dont know if she was running but I dont think the heels should have popped off.

The shoes were a gift to my daughter and she liked them until the third time she wore them and they started falling apart. The stitching is poor. They fell apart.
