First impression, the shoes are very light weight and the fabric is very breathable. I loved the pink color along with the cream and almost gold accent colors. The inside is slightly spongy to the touch and the shoe as nice flexibility. I was a high school science teacher who recently transitioned out of the classroom into the medical field. In the classroom, these shoes were a life saver. I was a science teacher with a lab, which meant walking on tile floors all day. My feet never felt fatigue and the arch support was significant. The shock was absorbed through the heel which really helped the constant running around, squatting, and lifting. When I left the classroom and went into the medical field, these shoes held up really well. I spend hours walking around in the lab while standing for extended periods and I can appreciate that my feet never hurt. I will totally purchase from this brand again, & I love the fact that it is women owned.

I recently started the Walk Active program. These shoes were recommended. The wide toe box, flexible sole and side support that prevents over pronation are great features. These shoes allow your toes to move and grip for a proper walking technique. The sole is flexible which allows for full foot movement. If you are a walker, I highly recommend these shoes.

I really like these shoes, they ran very narrow though. Not good for someone like me with wide feet.

These are so comfortable, the soles and insole padding are very comfortable for my foot. The back of the shoes doesn't rub either. First day with them, I walked 4 miles and my feet were quite happy. However, just a note or two, because of the cut, they do seem to be a bit more narrow just past the eyelets than, say, the Devotions Plus 2. Also, the cut around the girth also feels more narrow. If wavering between medium and wide, order both pairs to try on. Overall though, I am very happy with these shoes!!!

These are so comfortable and they fit right out of the box with zero issues. I normally wear 8.5 wide in a Ryka and these are 8.5 C and are perfect — soft, supportive and room in the toe box. I have had a hard time finding good walking shoes lately but am so glad I took a chance on these. The mid-blue is a nice, attractive color, can almost be considered a neutral. Good price, also, compared to some other brands.

Zappos recommended I go up a half size. Feels a little loose. Wish I would have gone with my usual size

Most comfortable walking shoes I've ever bought. I wear a wide shoe and these are simply perfect! Everyone I know who has tried the Ryka brand loves them, especially folks looking for a wider toe box. These will serve me well as I walk across the finish line in a half-marathon next month.

Size: I always size up a half size on athetic shoes and these are no exception. I ordered the wide and it's not expecially wide but since I ordered these for casual wear and not exercise, that's fine because it makes my feet look slimmer. The wid is just barely wide enough. The toe box seems a bit constricted so I wear thin footies. The shoe itself feels a little stiff but I guess that's the motion/stability control, which I need. The great thing is that I put these shoes on and wear them all day and never think about my feet. I have feet issues (bunions, former broken foot bones, tendonitis) and it's a blessing not to think about my feet when I've done 10,000+ steps in a day. I also think they are stylish for athletic shoes. I bought them in blue and charcoal. I especially like the look of the charcoal, which has a holographic-type part on the back which shimmers with different colors and picks up the color of whatever your'e wearing. So if you're wearing blue jeans with a black top, you see and black and blue in the shoe. Also, the charcoal is black but not blackblackblack so it doesn't look clunky down there at the end of my leg. I would not choose these for serious walking/running because I like LOTS of cushioning for that. But these are now my go-to shoes for busy days on my feet.

I do NOT recommend this product. I walk quite a bit at work and the first week of wearing these shoes the sole began to separate on a small portion of the shoe. They were very comfortable so I decided to continue to wear them as no one expects to dish out this much money for a good pair of shoes more than once or twice a year. It's now been a month and the shoes are pretty much falling apart. Terrible quality. Also the company doesn't have any warranty to back their product so I feel like that says enough. I have loved the comfort of these shoes but they seem very cheaply made.

I love these shoes! I have high arches and a wider foot -- these shoes are perfect for me. I try to walk 2-3 miles several times a week, mostly around my neighborhood. They have held up well -- and my feet don't hurt at the end of my walks. I ended up with three pair -- different colors. I've tried many different walking shoes and these have the best arch support of all of them.

Feels perfectly comfortable right out of the box! My feet have bunions and it’s so nice to step right into a comfy shoe. To me, the color is a blush, not beige, but it’s a nice color.

These are my first pair of Ryka's, and they felt different from the moment I put them on! A snug fit but not too snug and no rubbing on any part of my foot like I can have with other brands. Lots of bounce in the step. Soft and comfy while still being supportive for all day wear as a teacher. Just bought a 2nd pair!

I love Ryka shoes. I have been wearing this brand for about 20 years. Last year I bought Brooks because I didn't like the style/ colors of Ryka offered in the store. The Brooks were disappointing, so I tried Ryka again and ordered from Ryka online. More choices and cuter styles. I love these shoes! I had broken a foot and have a bunion. My feet do not hurt when I wear these and they give me excellent arch support. Hands down Ryka has the best walking shoes out there.

This is my second pair of Ryka shoes and I love both pairs. For the past 5 years, I wore several other name brand walking/hiking shoes but recently had unexplained pain in both my heels, with no medical reason why. I googled "womens tennis shoes" and found out about Ryka! Womens feet and body build are definitely different from mens, so I figured all I had to lose was heel pain, and promptly bought my first pair of Rykas! First I purchased the Devotion Plus 4 shoes and they are so comfortable, my heel pain went away completely within a day. I wanted a thicker sole for long walks/hikes so I chose the Devotion X Walking shoe and I am thrilled with them also! I used the website measuring instructions and both pairs are an exact fit. Both pairs are comfortable and have long enough shoe strings to allow for adjustments if needed. I will never wear anything other than Ryka. I highly recommend Ryka shoes.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable! I am over 60 and walk 4 miles several times a week. I was having foot pain in the previous shoes I've worn for years. I loved these so much a bought another pair immediately!

Who feels like they're walking on a pair of pink clouds?! Pleasantly surprised with the fit and comfort having never heard of this brand before a Zappos search. Nike has been my go to walking/running shoe. These Ryka's measure up and exceed expectations, and as an added bonus the company is run by women for women. Love that!

I love this pair from Ryka they are the most comfortable I've had in a long time and the pink color is my favourite! From the first day I wore them they felt perfect on my feet, I walked in them in the park and when I got home my feet didn't feel tired like I used to in my old sneakers. I recommend them 100% for walking, they are not heavy and the material is breathable which allows my feet to feel fresh and comfortable.

Perfect fit true to size 8.5 wide. Would be even better if there was a bit more heel cushion or more shock absorbing but overall the shoe houses inserts well doesn't make them tight or feel like they're smaller than the actual size I would purchase them again.

This is the first jogging/walking shoe that really fits me. The medium runs narrow and fits perfectly because I have a narrow foot. They have a long arch length that allows the ball of my foot to fit perfectly in the bill of the shoe. I have ordered another pair and plan to get rid of the ones I have. I have worn Brooks and Soccany, but had to order a size up in order to get the length in the arch. The shoes also are a lot wider. The medium in the Ryko feels narrow in size overall. I have better support and stability for my feet.
I'd also recommend:
Probably Brooks or Soccany

I have found my new favorite shoe. I have terrible foot pain and a very small bunion from being on my feet all day at work. Theses shoes have a toe box that lets your toes truly spread out. They are so comfortable, light weight.
