I love these shoes for hiking and walking. I wear them exclusively now. It is very hard to find a wide shoe that is not zero drop, I need a little bit of heel rise. Thank you so much for making wide shoes, and it's terrific that they are in this handsome blue color and not the typical black, gray or white!.

Walking, hiking, wish the lugs on the bottom would be deeper, grippier..fit is superb..I ordered some Altra Lone Peaks at the same time, both have good toe boxes, but Topos are wider, roomier..foot slides a bit forward in the shoe for down hills..but overall they are great..will look at other Topos..would like 0 drop with the great cushioning as the Ultraventure 3. Or even a 3 mm drop with Ultraventure 3 cushioning.

I have done some pretty epic hiking in my day (Half Dome, Inca Trail, all things Zion, the Wave, Havasupai, etc.) and these shoes have blown me away. I wish I had found them sooner! I just recently tested these out on a 20 mile backpacking adventure in rugged, backcountry Canyonlands. I expected sore and tired feet as per usual after an endeavor like that but my feet were as fresh at the end as they were at the beginning and I could hardly believe it. These are the ultimate in comfort and cushion without the instability that comes with too much squish. They held up to the demands of backpacking excellently and were superheroes on all the southern Utah slick rock- so incredibly grippy! I had ZERO breaking in issues; no blisters or discomfort at all. There is no need to search any more for a superior hiking shoe. This is it!

I bought these to replace my Altra hikers because the last pair I bought wasn't quite wide enough in the toe box. These feel and look great!

I walk in them as my joints no longer allow for me to run. The are comfortable and the cushioning is amazing.

I sized down by 1/2 size bc I was able to order wides.

Love how this shoe hugs my foot in the right places while giving my D width forefoot plenty of space. I may have found my new trail/road shoe. I didn't trust the advice and sized up a half size anyway. Don't think I needed to. They are slightly long but not enough to return. Can't wait to see how they hold up.

I love the roomy toe box and extra cushion. I ran a 12K a couple weeks ago in them and they were great! I've been struggling to find good running shoes with a wide toe box and these are awesome. #sweepstakes

Absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE TOPOS!!! Aside from trail/road ..actually all sports , i use them for Lifestyle beyond ! Thanks a million TOPOS, simply the BEST! What would i add ? ..well, even more exciting colors would be great FUN too ! :) xo

These are the only shoe that work for my need for a wide toe box, supportive cushion, and low-medium drop. I've had no issues with my recurring post tibial tendonitis in these. I like the wide version just to allow for some foot swelling during longer runs. I'm going to keep buying these forever probably and I like to order two at a time because I just know I'm going to keep wearing them. #sweepstakes

My arches are getting use to them, but these Topos feel so much better than my regular running shoes on the rocks and uneven surfaces. The toe box and colors are great too!

I would only change the colors available. Sometimes they are a little wild

These shoes are amazing! A year ago I had my third extensive foot surgery to correct a bone deformity and I needed a shoe that would provide comfort and stability as my foot healed. As well, I am a daily walker and a traveller so I wanted a shoe that could be worn for different activities. This shoe was recommended to me by a shop that specialises in running and walking shoes and I loved them! Wore them to Tuscany and hiked the Apuan Alps in them and wore them to Holland and Belgium after that! In June I will wear them to Norway, Scotland, Wales, England, Northern Ireland and Ireland. I needed another pair because I have worn them so much they are wearing out and in August they will go to Croatia and Slovenia with me, Switzerland in October and when I am home they go about five miles daily on my walk. Comfortable, stable, tasteful and durable, these are my go to shoes for almost everything! I absolutely love them!

Highly recommend. I bought these in wide and it's the first time in about 20 years that I found a sneaker that does not pinch my foot and cause a corn in my pinky toe. #sweepsteaks

I am new to trail/ultra running, and these shoes have been awesome! My feet are so happy to have the wide toe box and relatively narrow heel cup, so my foot feels snug in place, while my toes have room to spread out. The Ultraventure has a smooth, cushy ride that lasts for MILES (like, 20+ miles). I have never been happier with a pair of running shoes. My only complaint is how fast my size sells out--the women's 12 is quite popular! Can we get more colors in the women's 12 as well? #sweepstakes

I have two pairs of this shoe. I use one for thru hiking and was putting 20-25 miles/day. My feet never hurt the entire trip. I use the other for running and have ran a 50 mile race in them. Toe socks fit very comfortably which is hard to find. The 5mm drop and being soft but not mushy make these ideal for being in the trail for long hours. I'll definitely be continuing with these for upcoming events. #sweepstakes

I have used these in several races, they are decent on roads or trails because the lugs aren't too knobby. They have good cushion, cradle the foot nicely and a nice wide toe box. I've use Tope exclusively for my ultramarathons and suggest them to everyone!

My favorite trail running shoe! Comfortable right out of the box. I have bunions on each foot so the wide toe box is perfect. The extra cushion on the sole is very nice too. I'm usually a size 8.5, but wear a 9 in this shoe.

Love Topos

I got these because they come in wide. I've been getting 2E for my wide foot, but these are better fit. I would like Topo to make a high top hiker in wide, but these are good for most of the trails I hike. Vibram sole works well, but lugs are shallow. I've had bunion surgery and other issues and these feel very good. Nice cushioning, good balance too. I often stumble from catching my toe,) (2 hip replacements with one poor one.) I am finding I am not stumbling in these. That alone makes them worth the price.

I've been an avid trail walker forever and lover of minimalist shoes, but I have always been left with sore toes due to conventional toe boxes being too pointy leaving pain no matter how comfortable they were to put on and stand in. So after a thorough search that proved how hard it is to find an actual naturally shaped footbed and left me wondering why it's not more standard, it seemed Topo would be my best bet. A resounding yes indeed they are - my toes and I could not be happier!
