I bought these for hiking, but they feel so good I am wearing them anytime. I have so many foot problems and these actually don't hurt my feet. My bunion isn't squeezed, my neuroma is cushioned and my heel is protected. Another favorite feature is they are cushiony.

Size up a half size in Topos. It's hard to find a trail shoe less than 8.3 Oz with a 5mm drop, so I am sold forever. The mid section of the shoe is wider than the UV2 and feels "softer". Compared to Hoka, these don't shed water as fast and not as flexible feeling, but they feel a lot higher quality and I don't develop new plantar injuries with use like the last few Hoka Challengers I had, which are comparable to this shoe. I have completed a 100k using the last edition of this shoe, and the UV 3 is even more comfortable. Topos UV3 provides more cushion than Hoka although a light shoe.

These are so comfy and light, you can wear everyday. They make trail running easy and I make quick runs to the gym and around town and these are just as great as my road shoes. I have one foot thats a 6 and the other is 6.5 but got the 7 and they're just right.

Training to backpack the Camino in September. Tried several other brands, was not loving any of them. Topo came recommended by peers on American Pilgrims on the Camino. I love these shoes. They are the best feeling and fitting shoes that I have ever purchased/worn. Topo, DO NOT CHANGE ONE THING! I will be a lifetime fan.

This may be my favorite running shoe ever! I have been running in Topos for years, but have struggled to find the pair that transitions well between road and trail. The previous models have felt too stiff on the paved mile to get to the local trails. The extra cushioning and lightness of this shoe is a game changer. Several 15 mile trail runs have been easy in this shoe . With the same wide toe box, comfortable upper and slightly longer length than the previous model, the fit is perfect too!

I teach dog agility on Astro turf and I also compete, I'm on my feet all day, love this new trail shoe, the toe box is nice and roomy.

Very comfortable for dry surfaces but not much grip on wet rocks. The cushioning is FABULOUS. Feet were sliding down even though I tightened up the mid section and the half size down was too small. I have the waterproof boots and love them but was looking for a low cut with a good grip. I'll keep for smaller dry hikes but wouldn't recommend for hiking anything steep or wet.

I just recently bought these, and wore them for an 8 mile gravel run. I then decided to bring them as my backup shoe for a 200 mile race in Wales. I don't know why I would do that with a new pair of untested shoes, but I did. At about 40 miles in, my tried and tested shoes were soaked, so I switched out to the Ultraventure. Dry shoes, dry socks, happy feet. My feet got wet again, but they were still okay, the blisters I got in my first 40 miles with wet shoes weren't getting any worse. At about my 150, my Topos were wet, and my other shoes had dried out (volunteers put them on radiators!), so I decided to switch back to the dry tried and tested shoesand I couldn't even tolerate having them on while seated. So the wet Topos went back on my feet, and they finished the race with me. I'm in love.

Last year we wore Topo shoes for our Camino de Norte walk/hike in Spain. It was our 5th Camino and LOVED these shoes! Many Pilgrims along the way stopped and asked my husband about the shoes (his shoes stood out because of the color). We walked over 300 miles and plan to finish this September. I have since ordered the ultraventure 3. I can't wait to try them out. Btw.. we both will be celebrating our 70th birthday this year! Nothing better than Topo shoes!

The roomy toe box is better than prior model but I miss the stability. The ride is cushioned.

I want to love these shoes the way I love all my Topos, but I can't make up my mind. I can't seem to get a heel lock that lasts no matter how hard I try. I can't go a half size down or my toes will be jammed. Every run I find myself having to stop and tie them again. If I somehow get them to feel right, I love running in them. That feeling just doesn't last.

I like to reserve my running shoes for running only. I use these both on dirt trails (mostly) and on pavement. I love the wide toe box. The heel is a narrow fit but the cushion and support on the exterior allows it to feel secure and supportive to control my excessive pronation.

As a bit of history. Bought my first Topos'a last year to do part of the Camino. They worked out great but this year I did not think I would need the full on hiking boot so I bought these instead as a good in between hiking shoe. I took this pair and another brand and wore these 5 out of the 6 days.They were supportive, comfortable, agile for the rocky/shale downward walk. My ankle never rolled nor did my foot slip, not one time and he trail from Roncenvalles is one crazy trail full of shale, rock, degraded earth, narrow pathways, you name , it was present. These will be my go to shoes for trail hiking.running. Lightweight, fun color and very durable so far!

I often run on the River wash arroyos, mountain canyons, and hilltops in the Sonoran Desert of Tucson,Arizona. It's the perfect ration of cushion, support and yet also feeling fully grounded with the earth below. My favorite pair of Topos to date.. I have 2 other pairs of MTN Racer3 that I also love and alternate.

I'm a nurse on my feet long periods of time and also walk for exercise these shoes are awesome they feel great I've been a hoka girl and they're good too but now I'll be a topo girl too

Probably the most comfortable shoes I've worn for ages. A former runner, I walk my dogs 1 to 2 hours a day on both concrete and trails. After Hokas (cushioning for miles, bad toe box) and Altras (less wide in the toe box than previous ones, why?), I found the perfect shoe for me in the Ultraventure 3. I ADORE the wide toe box and the comforting squeeze midfoot. I've worn orthotics for 30 years, but so far do not need them in these shoes. I can't say enough good things. Buying a 2nd pair STAT!

We are back from completing our Camino del Norte in Spain. I wore these Topos and they were perfect. They held up great for the 250 miles we needed to finish.. The cushioning on these shoes were fantastic. We will be headed back in Sept 2024 in which I'll need a new pair. We will be walking/hiking 500 miles this time! Btw my husband loves them as well!
