I spent a good amount of time shopping around online at some of the more hip swim trunk makers. I really liked the idea of a boxer brief liner and stretch fabric. Still I was hesitant due to sizing and length. I decided to check out LL Bean and saw that they offered these, which ticked my boxes and came from a brand whose sizing I'm pretty familiar with. They're on the pricy side, but no worse than the other options I was looking at, so I decided I decided to grab a pair. When I received them, I tried them on and immediately ordered another pair in a different color. These shorts are awesome. Super comfortable, good length for my long legs, and good fit around my hips and thighs. My wife even commented how they looked a lot less baggy than other swim trunks I own.

I have been using these in the Clifton Park YMCA pool. They fit great and are easy to get on and off. I also like the waist tie on this pair than my previous ones. I think the color is more durable and less likely to fade, which happened to my previous pair. I bought the XL and the fit is right. I would recommend these for anyone who swims often and needs swim trunks they can be active and comfortable with.

I like this suit. It's a bit more restrictive than my other LL Bean suit, so that's why I didn't give it a 5 star rating. But it's probably just different, not bad. It has a tight inner liner.
