Superb, classy shoe. I've worn it several times since purchase and it works well with a number of outfits. I've purchased a half-dozen AE shoes over the years and still have every one, looking forward to keeping this one in my wardrobe for life as well. Thumbs up!

These are one of the most comfortable dress shoes I have ever worn right out of the box. They are also so beautiful I can't stop looking at them while wearing them. I highly recommend these.

These shoes are very well made. Great quality leather, sturdy, comfortable and elegant. I wear them to business meetings and when going out on a date with my wife. I got many compliments on them.

I absolutely love my new Allen Edmonds Siena Medallion Oxford - Chili shoes. As soon as you get near the box, even before opening, you immediately detect a wonderful leather aroma. The shoes not only come in an upscale box, but also an luxurious storage bag. Just looking at, the shoes scream quality. It's clear that these are handmade and done so with the utmost care. The uppers, interior and sole are all leather. The shoes fit wonderfully. They hug your foot but aren't uncomfortable. Personally, I wouldn't want to wear them in the rain mostly because I'd be afraid of the water damaging the sole. Yes, these shoes can be recrafted, but I still want to get as much life out of the original soles as possible. I have to add, mine did not come with a shoe horn. High-end shoes such as these typically include at least a solid plastic one. Not a huge deal, doesn't cost much at the store, but would be nice to have one included. Just an fyi, you want to make sure you use a shoe horn anytime you put on a pair of executive-level shoes such as these. If you don't, you run a very real risk of damaging or tearing the leather topline at your heal. These are NOT you typical dress shoe found at many department stores. Rather, these are executive-level shoes that turn heads and make you feel like a million bucks. It's clear that Allen Edmonds are the very best.

I bought the Siena Medallion Oxford a week ago. The fit for my foot is perfect. These felt great right out of the box. They feel as nice as my Hopkinson Cap Toe oxfords I've had for a couple of years. The upgraded heel is great. You should put that heel on all your shoes (in my opinion) There is one concern. The black painted soul has a tendency to be slippery on rugs and tile floors. You can find a nonskid, a rubber sheet that will stick to the soul. Problem solved but the black soul looks cool.

When it comes to shoes, the main dilemma I have is that the stylish ones are not very comfortable and vice versa. I found that Allen Edmunds solved this issue. After wearing the Siena Medallion Oxford - Chili shoes for several weeks, I found that these shoes are not only made of a premium material, but also incorporate the Blake stitching construction for added comfort and mobility in the shoes. Many of my dress shoes are rigid and hard to wear such as my Velasca shoes. I like how the Siena Medallion shoes fit true to size, unlike the Florsheim shoes I used to wear which were a little too narrow and tight around the toe cap. I also like the style and craftsmanship of these shoes as they seem to be a bit more durable than my Cole Haan shoes which wore down quickly. I highly recommend this shoe to anyone who wants a shoe that can be paired with different dressy styles while being extremely durable, comfortable, and quite stylish. I am a huge fan of the Siena Medallion shoes, and will be buying another pair of shoes from the Allen Edmunds line.

This product came packaged extremely well (such a fancy look). Upon putting it on, the shoes are comfortable and look great with both dress and business casual attire. I'd highly recommend these for anyone looking to upgrade their black leather shoe game.

I go through dress shoes every couple months, they always break down and the bottoms wear. These shoes have much more strength and they are sturdy. And better yet they are comfortable as well. Absolutely love them.

I will start that I wear wide shoes. These weren't wide but fit me perfectly. They are comfortable and look great. I would highly recommend.

I have never had dress shoes quite like this. Recently wore these to a wedding, and they remained comfortable the entire night (which is tough for dress shoes in my opinion). I would highly recommend these shoes to people.

Out of the box, the most comfortable pair of Allen Edmonds dress shoes that I've owned (my fourth). Not sure if this is due to a change across the line or is specific to this type. I've got wide feet at the front and usually need to get through the initial stretching period before I can enjoy the shoe (even if I buy wider or a size up), but these have felt great from the start. The style is exactly what I wanted, though the shoe does benefit from polishing out of the box (dark chili factory finish was a little rubbery looking for some reason). Overall a great shoe so far.

I like everything about the shoes except for the "clown size" shoelaces. You would think the attention to detail evident in the craftmanship of the shoes would extend to including shoelaces that one might step on, if I don't "double-knot" the excess. Who knew?

You need to have belt with same shade. Not even sure why you don't..I had to guess color to "match" with belt. Great shoe!!

Nice styling and quality leather. A little narrow in the toe.

Shiny shoes don't feel good on feet and have no traction. I have a wider foot, but not hobbit -like, and it's just morbidly uncomfortable. I haven't broken them in yet, but I don't see the material giving way much unless I went to a black tie event several times a month (which I don't do.) I feel like I might slip and break a limb if bringing these to the Mardi Gras ball.

I just received these shoes yesterday returning today. The color was off looked like a brown shoe. Not as pictured.

Bought this pair of shoes a week ago for my wedding in June. Certainly glad I gave myself plenty of time. On the website and in the store the coloring looks consistent all over the shoe. The moment I pulled the shoes out of the bag they came in inside the box I could see the color was splotchy, darker in some places and lighter in others. There are also small scratches in the leather itself. I haven't even put them on and I'll be returning them.
