This is the first shoe that doesn't make getting my AFO into it a royal pain in the kiester! It holds the AFO securely, making putting it on much easier. Also, the laces stay securely tied. I did hsve to go up half a size and select extra wide to accommodate the AFO. Orthofeet also includes some adjustment bits you can add to customize your fit. I can say it's waterproof, too.Planted trees in these; they wiped clean afterwards. BRILLIANT!

These were too large and I ordered another in size 8 1/2 that would have been good...but the shoe materials were not the same as the others...different sole and cut and grommet placement. Please see previous comment on this style. If they had been the same as the others... I would have been very happy. The 8 and 9 ww were great. Not the 8 1/2 ww.

Can size up or down with optional inserts depending on season and thickness of socks. Look good. Feel good.

I wanted to love these but they are going back, even ordering a half size up they didnt fit

They fit! They fit! I haven't had properly fitting winter boots in years and years, since the soles cracked on my old ones. My feet are very wide (EE), my toes are huge and I wear prescription orthotics. In my later years my right big toe has developed severe arthritis, enlarging it further. My normal shoes (Easy Spirit walking shoes) have ventilation holes, which is not the best feature in snow. I am delighted to finally have proper winter boots, especially since there is an increased chance of measurable snow this winter.

The Orthofeet delta hiking boots are absolutely the most comfortable hiking boots I have ever had. I have a neuroma in one foot and no matter what I put on my feet, I end up with foot pain. That is not the case with Orthofeet. I have worn them for hours and my foot was pain free! They also look amazing & are definitely waterproof. You will not be disappointed!

Have this in a different size and it is very comfortable and I would give it a B for support. Have done moderate hiking and no problems. After foot surgery needed slightly larger. So chose 9ww and 81/2 ww. the 8 1/2ww would have been the solution, but here is the thing. They looked alot like the other two, but had completely different soles and configuration of grommets, lacing and most important...a different sole altogether..making them less wide then the smaller size. Ordered again in black because no more brown and made sure soles were the right ones. Be sure to check out the pictures before you order.

Oh how I wanted these to work. It is the second pair of Orthofeet shoes I have tried. The shoe is marked WW but it felt like a roomy D which was still too narrow for my 7 1/2 WW. So sad I had to return these well made boots.

I like this shoe a lot. Appreciated and followed the advice to wear it a few times to adjust to the feel. Fits perfectly.

These hiking boots are perfect for me in size & protection when I work with my horse. I've worn them for 2 years & there is no wear or tear so I'm very happy for buying them!

Very pleased with the shoe. I have orthopedic challenges and am able to address them easily with this shoe. The removable footbed suits my needs extremely well.

Too much leather up the ankle. With arthritis, it is a fall hazard.

I was really hoping these would fit. I'm typically a 10.5 wide in flats and short heals but this was not available in my size so I took a chance. No luck

The fit was nice however the treads didn't seem enough for hiking...maybe just walking the trails...my only reason for returning these shoes.

I ordered five pair of shoes for an upcoming hiking trip. I ended up not keeping the Orthofeet because they are kind of ugly, but they were super comfortable. If I was going to need two pair of boots, I would definitely have kept these. I went with Trotters instead.

I have trouble finding wide enough shoes for my bunion, and these shoes were nice and roomy and comfortable.

Very comfy right off the bat and had nice additional sizers if needed

too narrow and short. judging by look no arch support I am sure these are meant for an orthidic tried mine and could not insert

The boot fit very nicely and felt comfortable except for curving in and pressing against the side and outer corner of my big toe. The 6 wide was otherwise long enough, and had good width across my little toe. I need a rounder toe box, one that doesn't taper in quite so soon. There was plenty of room for winter socks . The leather is a nice and supple.

I usually wear a ten in sneakers but I ordered a 10.5 in these and the length was perfect. They were very loose until I added the two extra liners that were included in the box. This made the fit much better! I would have liked them if it wasn't for my arthritis in the ball of my rt foot. I need even more padding because of this situation. My left foot found the cushioning of these boots sufficient. Because of my right foot I could not rate the shoe higher.

Great boot for problem feet . Comfortable sand supportive if you get ones with the soles marked Orthofeet. See my other review.
