I have several Birkenstocks, but this is my first pair of Mayari soft bed sandals. I have to say, these are the most comfortable Birkenstocks, right out of the box, I’ve ever owned. I loved them so much, I ordered a pair of navy oiled leather. I wear a women’s 11 and the size 42 is perfect on my feet.

I really like the look of this shoe. I have several pairs of Birkenstocks and relay on their comfort. I have had 3 foot surgeries. I have planter fasciitis. These shoes are not nearly as comfortable as I had hoped. I choose these rather than a full thong. The footbed and leather are nice and soft however the piece that goes between your toes seem to have a “hump” where it is connected. Fingers crossed that I can break these cuties in!

Exactly what I was needing for my go to Summer shoe! Birkenstock has never been known for being the prettiest shoe but if you’re looking for versatile comfort, then this is it! Highly recommend the soft footbed over the traditional. I like the adjustable strap around the toe also.

Very comfortable

I have purchased many Mayari sandals over the years and this was my first pair of soft footbed sandals. They are much easier to break in than the others. I wish they came in all colors though. For some reason, Birkenstock only offers the Mayari Soft Footbed in certain colors.

One of my favorite shoes to wear!

The most comfortable sandals I have ever owned. The soft footbed is the best!! Definitely measure your foot and Order your size that way.

Color is light and beautiful for summer

I ordered both the 36 and the 37, both in the wider width. The 36 length was perfect but too tight all around. The 37 was almost 2 in too long. Unfortunately, this style was just not for me. I have several pairs of Birks and most of them are 36’s. But in this case they are marked as 6-6.5 which is different.

Not comfortable

The fit and size were true to size. The material was course one of the straps on the right, seem like it was miss placed and dug into Pf side right in her foot and just trying it on. I’m taking it off sing painful.

I have Birkenstock and these felt too narrow. I also did not like the toe area since it was tighter than I liked.

I have and love the Mayari style and was looking forward to the soft footbed. However, this shoe is not comfortable...seems too short, and the toe piece is hard... unlike the regular Mayari. Of note, the style/lot number printed on the instep of each shoe is different.... not a matching pair..? I am returning. Did love the color.
