I have a very narrow size 13 foot and these puppies fit great.. super light and grippy in all conditions. Probably my favorite running shoe of all time.. wish I would have discovered them earlier!

I love these shoes. They are my go-to race shoe! The lugs work great for wet trails. The shoes are so light and breathable, that they dry really quickly if you're getting your feet wet a lot. I just ran Hope Pass (24 miles, 7,000' of gain) and ran through +10 creek/river crossings and puddles, without a single blister or issue with my feet. These shoes feel light and fast!

Stupid fast and nimble, have taken it to 50k and felt good, bomb proof...just over 400 miles and plenty of life left. One of the most fun shoes I've ever run in.

Very light and comfortable, Would best suit narrow foot, Size up by half.(Solomon has Adidas sizing) 12 - 12.5 for me. Great grip on soft ground, slippery on hard.

BUT, runs incredibly narrow. Typically I wear a US 10 or 10.5, but have ended up feeling most comfortable at an 11 for these. The foam under foot is super light and impressively bouncy but does not seem to compromise stability. The traction is fantastic, and surprisingly durable. My feet measure at a size of 9.7, 9.8 and E width. My shoe size for the S/Lab Pulsar SG 2 is a US M's 11.0

I'm an Intermediate level runner and like going uphill fast. I bought these shoes for steep vertical trail running and I think they are well suited for that. They feel very light and spry. I love the way they fit my narrow feet and the laces really snug everything up to prevent friction and blisters that I get with looser fitting shoes. By design, these don't have insoles which I think also helps keep your foot in place and is surprisingly comfortable. I believe these shoes are beyond my skill level and are best for an advanced runner with impeccable technique as they have a very minimal rock plate which requires precise foot placement to prevent sharper rocks and roots from hurting your feet. I only run a few miles per week and I think someone with better conditioning wouldn't be as sensitive to feeling the rocks through the shoe and might actually like the connection they feel with the trail. The soles are narrow which also requires precision and doesn't encourage you to be lazy as I feel I could roll my ankles if I'm not careful but it's mostly narrow in the heel and feels pretty well planted in the forefoot which also suggests they're meant for advanced runners with more of a mid-forefoot strike. The soles are very grippy and seem well suited to vertical trails as they're almost too grippy for intermediate low angle running. The built in gaiter seems to work well at keeping most debris out but I found they rubbed the back of my ankle too much, though I do think you'd get used to it and break them in eventually. These seem like great shoes for the right person but aren't what I was looking for. I will keep searching for something with a similar fit but more forgiving until I advance as a runner.

This shoe rides much different than the original version in my opinion. First things I noticed. Toe box has more roommid foot seems to have a wider/stable platformheel fits different but great lockdown. I tested this shoe on very gnarly conditions for 27 milesI prefer the first version for running fast over technical terrain. For this reason I will be rotating the first version for more speedy runs up to 20 miles, and the second version for longer efforts. I do think elite runners can run up to 50 miles in the second version. My major gripe with the first version and this version is how quickly the foam rips as well as the front toe. Wish it was a tiny bit more protective. With that said I take this shoe on ventures that will certainly be testing its limits.

I bought this shoe in the winter to run while the trails were muddy and wet. The shoe was great for grip and super lightweight. However, these shoes ran a half-size small. The sole is also thin, and on long runs (15+ miles) I could really feel every rock in the ground.

I couldn't get these shoes on without a shoehorn. When I finally did get them on, they were really comfy. Can't deal with the inconvenience of trying to get them on so am returning.

Pulsar SG v1 was one of my all time favourite shoes. With over 1000 miles in the first pair, it was time to say goodbye. Tbh I didn't see a big difference between the versions so I went with the new one. Even though the extra padding might seem like a bonus and all the good things about the shoe haven't changed, I can't honestly give it a good score when doing a long run likely costs a toenail. Unfortunately, the 30-day window run out before I tried it for a longer distance.
