Finally a bag designer got it right! Thank you for a bag that is lined in a LIGHT color (instead of needing to shuffle blindly through a black hole) I can see the inside of my purse!
Thank you for TWO outside Slots for water bottles! Is it really too much to ask (Gucci, LV, Prada and all the other useless designer dummies!!) ?
Thank you for making it lightweight and WIDER instead of tall. Wider is easier to carry and find things, trust me!
While Ultimately leather would have made it perfect it's the next best thing to perfection. I've wasted so much money on convertible backpacks that met one of my criteria but not the others, always compromising but NEVER SATISFIED with the bag and soon on the search for the right one. I never thought it would be Baggallini but glad I found you!!!!

Bought it for my trip on Spring Break, love it! So many convenient pockets and space. And the luggage strap is awesome!

I bought this for a trip coming up for a personal item bag. It seems like it will be perfect.

I absolutely love the amount of outside pockets since it makes it so easy to access grab-and-go items like keys and sunglasses. Most of all, I love how it converts to a backpack! I use this as a diaper bag for my dogs to help keep organized.

Im sure this is my oversight, but I expected this to be a laptop bag- it is not. If I didnt need a laptop bag, I would have kept it. But I ended up returning. Its well made, but not for my purposes.

I admit - I was a bit neurotic about choosing the right bag for my upcoming trip - so I bought 3 and analyzed each one. The competitors to the 3-In-1 Convertible bag were The Avenue Tote and the Any Day Tote. The 3-In-1 won hands down!
I liked it because it felt like a regular handbag - not just a personal carry on. I liked the fact that there was no padded divider for the laptop - because that takes up unnecessary room - especially if you have a padded sleeve for the laptop. I loved all the pockets on the outside and inside. Of course the RFID blocking wristlet was a plus. I didn't love the short handles, because I prefer shoulder bags or cross body BUT this bag offers both those options as well. And most of all? I LOVED the fact that there is an additional pocket on the back, that doesn't interfere with the luggage sleeve. That means that you can slip your bag over your luggage handle and you still have access to a pocket to hold you passport or important papers. Having them in the front made me feel a bit exposed, and unable to protect them. Having the additional pocket on the back gave me a more secure feeling - and it was only on the 3-In-1 that it was available.
Although the other two bags were slightly bigger in dimensions and might accommodate a bit more stuff inside, I felt there was a limit to what I was willing to carry - weight-wise so once again the 3-In-1 won. And the fact that I've used the same crossbody bag from Baggalini for the past several years - day in and day out - and it's still in great condition sold me on this company.
I'm traveling next month and have a feeling that this will be my preferred bag for a long, long time.

I just got this bag and I love it. It's large without being too big, great as a mom bag to throw diapers and bottles in. I love it has many pouches and I really like the extra wristlet. The only downside is that when you make it into a backpack (which is why I bought it) you only have one strap and when you take it off the whole slides down and flips over and items can come out of your bag. So, I just bought 2 new straps so I can attach them like a regular backpack. 2 straps should be included with this bag. Also, black straps are not sold separately so I had to get patterned straps. I would prefer black.
This could also be fixed by the company by changing the loop that makes it into a backpack into an actual metal clip on.

Ive been a flight attendant for 23 years and this is the best bag Ive ever had ! Its what Im using for my new tote bag. It fits everything from my bigger tote bag without having to carry such a big bag around. Love all the pockets. And I love that its blue inside so I can actually see where things are. I bought two of these in case something happens to this one. I will use this for the next 20 years of my career

Purchased for trip to Ireland. As in previous reviews unless it's completely zippered it
Stays open. The straps for backpack with raincoat on were not long enough.

I used this bag a lot. It's great for travel with outside pockets for my phone/passport/kindle that are super convenient.
But the end of the zipper popped off after 6 months of use and I can't close it. It can't work as a backpack hanging open!

What I love about this bag: 1. It is convertible from a cross body to a backpack, and it has grab handles. 2. It is water resistant--I took this to Niagara Falls and it rained lightly, but everything inside was dry. 3. Good assortment of pockets and organization. I love the phone pocket. 4. I like that it comes with the little wristlet/pouch. 5. I love that it has two bottle pockets, one for my water bottle and one for my coffee mug!
A few issues:1. I wish this bag was just an inch or two taller and wider. I wanted to use it as a work bag/purse but you cannot put a regular size folder in the bag--it almost fits but not quite. 2. I wish the bottle pockets were a little bigger or elasticized so you can get your bottles in and out a little more easily. 3. The bag is not as big as it looks in the picture.
Overall, I really like this bag and would recommend it. I would love it if they had a slightly bigger version of this bag, maybe one with a laptop sleeve, but still convertible to a backpack.

I own 4 of these bags in 3 different colors!!
I travel A LOTand I great appreciate the size, pockets, structure. The outside side pockets get used for a water bottle and sunglasses & reading glasses with cases!!
I use it as a backpack, crossbody, regular on the shoulder and using the handle. I love that it can slide into my carry on handle absolutely the best companion bag for travels.
Ive thrown these bags into the washing machine and every single come out perfect!!

I bought two of these bags. One looked pristine the other had no covers on the handles, zippers were unzipped and in a huge bag that was not sealed. Seemed like a return. Could not give as gift so gave the one I ordered for myself. No response from Baggalini.

Best bag Ive ever used. Ability to organize due to all the pockets is fabulous. The bag can be slim, or expand as needed to accommodate shoes, clothes, wallets, glasses & water bottles.

The versatility of this bag is exactly what I was looking for. I love the ability to carry it as a purse, and when I need to, I can quickly throw it on my back to free up my hands. The bottle pockets are a must for me. Unfortunately, the zipper pull on one of the front pockets was missing. ( the reason I could not give this purchase a 5 rating. ) This is my 5th Baggallini purchase. I am quite sure it will not be my last.

I love Baggallini in general because they're lightweight and thoughtfully designed.I had to take a star off because (1) the strap needs to be about 6-9" longer - when used as a backpack, if you're wearing a coat and/or weigh more than 150 lbs. the circulation under your armpits is cut off. (2) The fabric loop for the backpack strap needs to be replaced with a means of keeping the strap in one place after it's inserted - once you get one arm into the strap, it slides so that it's very difficult to find the other strap, get your arm into it, and then readjust the strap and weight evenly. Plus the backpack loop is now shredding from use. Maybe TWO straps to attach to the ring at the top back? Other than the strap issues, I'd give it a 10.

It is a great bag and I will use it but am disappointed that it will not fit my 15" mac. It was the reason I bought it. But for the rest of my stuff, it's perfect

I bought this a little over a month ago and I am pleased. I wish though it had more pockets on the inside. It does have the two slip pockets and a zipper pocket but I feel it needs at least two more pockets. Phone pocket needs to be about 3/4 of an inch bigger. It does hold my phone by my phone sticks up about 1/4 inch so I don't feel like it is secure enough. It is just the right size to be used as an everyday bag. I wear it a lot like a backpack in stores to free up my hands while shopping. Took it to the theme park and it was just right. It held two bottles of water and 2 rain poncho's plus all my everyday items. Pretty functional purse.

I love Baggallini bags and wanted to add a larger tote to my collection that I could use on commutes to work and long weekend trips. As usual, there's all the bells and whistles of pocket organization but, what appealed to me in particular about this bag are the side pockets for a water bottle and umbrella. I also love the three different ways that it can be worn and slipped over my luggage handle. Small issue was the Baggallini tag was imprinted crooked on the smaller bag insert that goes inside the larger tote. Finally I love this shimmer blush color!

I am a backpack purse person only. Pocket storage is great as is access to main interior of purse. Zipper works well as some backpack purses the zipper can't be zipped unless you have three hands. The 3 in 1 is really great. My only draw back is the back back strap. Buckle gets stuck in either side of loop and makes getting bag on back and through arms difficult.

I'm a Hospice nurse who goes to peoples homes or care facilities. I bought this bag as my nursing bag because it's sturdy, not too big, easy to clean and lots of compartments to place my necessary items for work. It has been perfect for this purpose. I would have given five stars, but unfortunately there is a front pocket, which I access frequently, where the lining constantly gets caught in the zipper. I'm afraid at some point the zipper going to get completely stuck or the lining is going to rip. I'm sure it's a fluke in this one bag.
