These boots fit great. The calf is perfect! i fall in the middle of the spectrum when it comes to calf width and I had read on other boots that they were too wide, so when I saw the stretch fit I needed to try them. They fit absolutely great. I measure a women's size 7 in every shoe, but I ordered a 7.5 because of the pointed toe, and I'm glad I did. Doesn't even feel like you're wearing heels either. Super comfy, even on the first wear! If you're debating getting a boot, give these a try!

Beautifully made, and great quality. I love the boots, but they are obviously made for women with smaller calve muscles. I ordered the boots knowing there was a good possibility they wouldn't be wide enough, and I was correct in my thinking. I took the boots to a local cobbler for his opinion. He was able to stretch the shaft area to approximately 16" wide. They look great, and the adjustments are not noticeable. I'm so very happy with the end result, and thought I would share this information in case someone else is on the fence with ordering these beautiful boots. NOTE to Ariat!! Please consider making a better selection of wide calf boots. Like these boots! There should be a choice of regular, or wide calf.

Little to no break in time, worth the purchase. Size up if you have a wider foot. However they are true to size.

I ordered these boots because the description says with the stretch panels they will fit any calf. Unfortunately, this is not true lol. I have muscular calves that are 15.75" in circumference around the widest part. I ordered a size 7 which is my normal size. I found them a bit roomy in the toe, and I could pull them up all the way, but my calves bulged out the back of the boot and looked so stupid. I wish these boots were taller to go over my calf completely but the top of the boot hits the widest part of my calf. They were otherwise great boots of excellent quality but if you have wide calves, the description is misleading. I also ordered the black and found that with the distressing they appeared more like a dark brown.

Beautiful and comfortable! Bought for my wedding to wear throughout including dancing. Normally wear 9-10 depending on the shoe, ordered a 10 to be safe as they get narrow at the toe. These were surprisingly comfortable and just beautiful to look at and wear! As always remember to wear the proper socks or you will blister!

These boots are very comfortable. The heel is not too high and they require minimal break in time. They look adorable with shorts, skirts and dresses and look very high quality. I have slimmer calves and I appreciate the fit on my body type. I choose these over the Casanovas for that reason. I have them is brown and would love to get a second pair in bone. I would say they run slightly small and I went a half size bigger than my normal size.

Disappointed. I was so hoping these were gonna be good! I have tried on another Ariat tall boot style that did not have a stretch panel. They were just slightly too tight at the calf. So naturally I thought that with that stretch panel they'd fit perfectly. Nope! They fit worse!?! Big in the foot and too tight in the calf.

I am IN LOVE with these boots!!! I treat them like my babies, scared to get a scratch or scuff since they're my "dress boots" now. You can feel how well made they are, high quality, fit just right and super comfy. I upsized for thick socks in the winter and they have the exact amount of room I needed just for that without being TOO big. Also love that leather smell that fills my closet. When my feet are hot it just smells like leather lol. I can't do anything that's not comfortable, so happy these are. They go with so much, too. Would def recommend!

Beautiful boots, they are just as pictured. The quality is definitely there! They look sturdy and seem like they will last me for years and still look just as good. I specifically bought these not just for how stunning this boot looks (got the black btw) but because they claim to be accommodating for people with bit larger calves. I have struggled in the past looking for boots that would fit my calves and I saw that these have a stretch panel and had good reviews from others with the same issue, so I took a chance. These boots did not disappoint! They fit but were a bit snug at first but with wear to break them in and to get that stretch panel working, after one or two wears they fit comfortably. I appreciate that it didn't take a lot of wear to stretch the panel out because I was really eager to start wearing these! All in all, these are stunning boots and if you have the same issue as me, looking for boots to fit your calves, I highly recommend these!

These boots are gorgeous! My calves at their widest are 15" and I am only 5' tall, athletic build. There's definitely no extra room, but they do fit me and are comfortable. No break in required. The bone color is perfect. I normally wear a 6, but purchased a 6.5 and they'll fit great with socks.

Obviously this is a beautiful boot plus is it quite comfortable. The width of the upper part is perfect for a medium size leg diameter; it is very flattering.

Very comfy and works very well for dancing and special occasions!!

I purchased these boots at the Great Western Clothing Company in Eureka, California. They fit perfectly and are Beautifully made.

I LOVEEEEEEE my boots!!! They're high quality and durable feeling, gorgeous, and comfy! Although according to the size chart I would be a 6.5, but an 8 fit best with extra room for thick socks or doubling up socks. So happy with them! Also, I have another pair of Ariat boots I've had since I was 13. Used them for horseback riding, four wheeler riding, going out, going to muddy events, etc. and although appearance is very worn, they are not falling apart in any way. Love Ariat boots in general!

I purchased these boots for my daughter as a gift . She loves them. They fit perfect and they go with anything she wears. She has never had a real pair of cowboy boots and this will not be the only ones I buy for her!

I bought these boots for my wife for Christmas. She loves the look and style. The quality is second to none. She also loves the color and the comfort of the boot. She said the stretch fit is soft and should be easy to break in.

I am OBSESSED. The boots are so beautiful- the new leather smells so good and is so soft. I was wearing them around the house to break them in and I need to buy thinner socks but they are well on their way to be my favorite pair of shoes. OH! WHAT! I'm just goofin, new boot goofin!

I have several pairs of Ariat boots that I love but these are the best ever! They were easy to pull on and comfortable immediately, no break in necessary. I've been getting compliments every time I wear them. Thank you for making such a great, high quality product. I wish this style came in pink, I would definitely buy them

I bought the black western boot. I have always had really big calves, my claves currently measure about 15.25in around. While they where a tight fit at first, the stretch elastic at the top of the boot was a game changer. They where so comfortable in the heat I was in and received a tone of compliments. I plan on wearing these to work too!
