This is a great waterproof pack, I used it all rainy season and was very happy with it. I bought a second one just in case this product gets discontinued and I eventually need another.

Just purchased this pack for mostly light trekking and travel where I need a bag larger than my existing Kelty. I love the design of this bag. It looks very sharp and the material feels strong. I also really like the flap closure system. Opens and closes securely with very easy operation to the closure strap/cinch. There's one zipped pocket on the outside that can't be reasonably opened with the flap secure. The downside is if you like having outside pocket access all the time. But for me, I like the security that someone isn't going to lift anything from the outside pocket, at least not quickly anyway. The inside lining in white is very welcomed when I'm searching for just about anything, There are a couple of pockets inside along with a two flaps for papers and electronics. My13" MacBook Air, a Kindle, a folder of misc papers and a pad of paper fit easily. The shoulder straps are comfortable in my opinion and are very solid. The chest strap appears to be height-adjustable but I haven't yet figured out how to remove/reattach the clips. I'll play with it once I have a little time on my hands. :) Fully loaded, the pack fit easily under the center or window seat in a B-737. The aisle seat storage is quite narrow so it probably won't fit (at least on a Southwest flight!). All in all, I really like the pack and don't mind the slight color changes when the outside material gets creased. I think it gives the pack that lived-in look... but that's just me.

Minimal look is so cool. The light interior is practical as it's easy to find stuff. Laptop pocket is nice and well padded.

My go-to companion for short trips and travels around town. Super spacious interior, this backpack can easily accommodate all the essentials for a couple of days or a quick getaway. Whether it's a change of clothes, toiletries, or even a compact camera, this bag has got me covered without feeling bulky or cumbersome. It has just the right number of compartments to keep everything tidy and easily accessible. High-quality materials and the padded shoulder straps and back make carrying it very comfortable.

So I have the last season version of this bag which came in the Yukon (gold) colourway. I wanted a new bag that I could take to the office with my laptop and also as a carry-on for travel. I do love this bag and these are the reasons: The colour is fab Super durable and water resistant I LOVE the space! Although I struggled at first figuring out the pocket configuration to my needs, this thing can fit a lot into it! It's like a Mary Poppins bag - you can just keep adding. My most recent flight I had 2 laptops and cables as well as a Wacom tablet, 2 medium sized books, 1.5l water bottle, change of clothes, 2 pairs of glasses and a wash bag.

I have been traveling around Slovenia and Croatia with this backpack and it's been great for day trips. We received a little rain and it sheds right off.

The new Grenville is a very nice minimal bag that's thankfully waterproof. The main pocket is rather large with a few small pockets on the back of the bag. The bag flap clasp is fairly good and it clicks onto the small rope loop well. The drawstring to close the top of the bag pulls tight well but it's slow to release unlike other arcteryx bags. The drawstring also does not make a perfect seal so the liner does not form a dry bag inside. The padding is comfortable and I did not feel any pain in my back or shoulder with the bag fully loaded with climbing gear after a full day. The bag does show scuffs fairly easily as well due to the textured finish.

I was hoping to love this backpack and replace my previous commute/travel backpack. Pros: - This Granville 25 Backpack is sleek and modern - It has a minimalistic and urban look - Waterproof fabric - A couple of spacious interior pockets - Can fit a 16" MacBook Pro Cons: - Stiff fabric - Exterior can be minimalistic, but this backpack needs even more interior pockets for better organization including a pen pocket, glasses pocket, key holder, etc. - No luggage sleeve to incorporate the backpack into the handles of a carry-on. What a big miss. For the price of this backpack, I would expect more than just a basic construction with good design. It needs great features as well. Looks don't matter if you can't make use of it.

I bought the granville bag two weeks ago, and it's a disappointment. Despite the beauty of the product and its technical qualities, the flap hook closure system is mediocre. Worse thing, two days ago the drawstring of the main pocket got stuck in the hook without me noticing and when I pulled to close it tore... In short, very disappointed for an item at this price.

I bought it 2 months ago but I used for the first time this last weekend. I did not like it at all. Luck of pocket Closure system is a pain The grey top is showing on one side The straps are uncomfortable and small for the size of the backpack and sometimes are unbalanced. I started thr return of this product after the first use. Color, material and quality are great.

Bag material ripped within a few weeks of ownership, drastically reducing water protection for a bag I bought to commute with in PacNW where rainy weather is super common. Back was fine otherwise, keyhook in external pocket is a bit short.
