I love this shoe for longer efforts on gravel and smoother trails. The new version seems to fit a bit better and feels more balanced all around!

This is my second pair of Ultra Glide 2s. I really loved my first pair, I felt they were nicely cushioned and responsive. I ran a half marathon in them and traveled for several months where they were my sole pair of shoes. I decided to invest in another pair and something is just off. I have now put about 20 miles on them and Im having arch pain, the cushion is not as nice and the sides rub my ankles in an uncomfortable way. I am super sad because I got rid of my previous pair because they were so worn down and now Im stuck with a worse shoe.

Love the shoe! Great fit. However, I noticed there are now holes n the bottom of each shoe. Ball of foot area. Never had rubber wear down like this in any other running shoe. Disappointed! They dont wear long.

I bought these to use for walking after a broken foot. They are perfect for what I needed. Easy to get on and hold my foot in place. Love them and will purchase again for summer!

I was looking for a show with a wide, comfortable toe biz. I tried on a couple of the "other" brands, and none of them fit right. I always turn to Salomon and I'm sooo glad I did. Rhese fit to size and have a slight toe drop, but it's perfect!

Really like this shoe, fits well and durable. I had it for one year and like new. The cushion is also best for your knee if you want to run and long walking

This sneaker is perfect for walking my 4 miles a day. Ive tried other brands, but always come back to Salomon Ultra Glide 2. Just wish they could last a little longer for the $.

These are the only shoes that catch me when I clip a rock- they have saved me from many falls. They are so comfortable and feel springy and light on the trails. Ive run two 50 milers in these shoes and they felt great the whole way.

I have worn the shoes for three or four mixed terrain runs so far. They really protect my feet from sharp gravel and handle well both on trails and on the road. Very happy with them.

I got these on sale. Theyve been great. Theyre very comfortable and durable. I would definitely buy them again.

I have had several pairs of the Ultra Glide 1 and just now purchased the Ultra Glide 2. Definitely my go-to shoe for longer runs. Great cushioning, super comfy and I love the colors (that's important too, right?). Time to order the burgundy one now.

I bought this product a few week back and they are on my feet right now. Ive been wearing them everywhere from work, dog walks, shopping and around the house. Im a faithful customer and have been wearing Salomon for many years now. A+++++ all the way.

I ran the Catalina marathon in these and was comfortable the whole way, through creek crossings, mud, dirt, slope and on concrete. I don't imagine these are the best for rock. The tread is already wearing down significantly after 5-6 long runs.

I bought these because my pair of Ultra Glides had worn off tread. That is my main complaint with all Salomon trail shoes, the tread wears out before the rest of the shoe. I mainly wear these for walking and work. The Ultra Glide 2 have the same cushioning as the previous model but are narrower in the toe box which I don't like, I wish they would not have changed this, more space is nice. Overall it is a comfortable shoe for walking and standing in for hours.

Sturdy and nice, I took a walk once with the shoes on and it definitely better than regular tennis shoes.

Love these shoes. I needed more support for my workouts and glad I got these as they help my arches not hurt. I am a size 7 US womens and ordered a 6.5 and they fit perfectly.

Super cute, extremely comfortable sneakers! I saw reviews that said this shoe was big but I didnt experience that. It is roomy in the toe box but given the slight slope to the footbed I found it better to have more room than not. Im a huge fan of how comfortable these are to wear for long days walking around the city or light hikes. They have a nice balance of structure and flexibility in the uppers and quite a lot of surface area on the bottom so theyre good for gym workouts but may d not HIIT or anything really bouncy. The upper material is on the thinner side but I like that.

Ive taken these shoes on the trail five times now since purchasing it and I dont really love it. I own a pair of Sense Glide 5 and doesnt compare to the Ultra Glide. Theyre a little thick and heavy for me.

just ran cruel jewel 100 miler. shoes held up great. started raining the second day and still did good in the muddy terrian. only complaint is that they collected a lot of dirt and found myself dumping them out at aid stations the second half.

I bought this shoes yesterday. Im happy and cant wait for my training and competition.

Great option for moderate distances on more buffed out trails. Stack height is nice and takes a run or two to break in the cushion. Recommended for slower and less technical runs.

I loved the original UGs as Salomon's "intro" into the higher stack height and more cushioned game. The UG2 keeps everything that was to love about the 1s and make some improvements! Mainly around the upper materials which are softer and more forgiving. 260+ miles into pair one and absolutely no sign of wear.
