I am excited to try these for a Grand Canyon rafting trip. I normally wear 6 in running shoes, keen sandals and 5.5 dress shoes. I first ordered the size 6 and they were too big. Size 5.5 seems to fit properly. There is room so you don't jam your toes and you could wear some some thin socks if you wanted. For my husband, his normal size fit perfectly. They are def not narrow.

I already loved Salomon shoes especially their hiking shoes with Gortex. Saw these and thought I'd give them a try. Boy, am I glad I did! These shoes are awesome. As soon as they arrived I used them to pressure wash my house. I felt safe and secure while climbing up and down a wet ladder. They are lightweight, super comfortable, and dry quickly. I'm also thrilled with the color. The only concern I have is if they will be stinky since they will be wet often and I am wearing them without socks. I will update this review once I find out how they hold up after frequent use. I hope Salomon will make more of these shoes in different colors. They are my new favs! I highly recommend you get a pair. You won't be disappointed.

These are great shoes, but there is something wrong with a size chart (yes, in 21st century manufacturer cannot measure their shoes properly).
My wife's foot length is 24 cm.
According to the size chart that's 7.5 US. It was huge. Almost 1 inch extra space.
Changes to 7 US. It's still huge. 0.7 inch of extra space.
Going to order 6.5US, which is 23cm according to the chart. And she still will have about 0.5 inch extra.

Used them for kayaking. The sand is quite hard to remove but I really like them overall. Very breathable. It runs a bit big but I adjusted them and they are ok.

I wear a size 9 in many Salomon shoes. I ordered a 9 of these but they are a full size too large. Super grateful for free returns and I'm ordering the smaller size. I'll keep ya posted!

These shoes were perfect for hiking. We hiked the Narrows in Zion Natl. Park and they provided the support, protection and comfort needed for our trip.

Water shoes are always a hit or miss. Mostly a miss for me but not these. I've used them on days in the river and hiking the Narrows in Zion National Park. Only wish they had a black or darker option for women.

This is my first pair of Techamphibian's and they may be my favorite summer shoe! Super versatile; I wear them with socks, without socks, dress up or dress down. Collapsible heel is a great feature. The heel strap is very effective and allows for precise fit adjustments. Breathable, lightweight, great fit.

This is my second pair of Techamphibian 5 shoes. I absolutely love them. Great fit right out of the box, I find them to fit true to size. With a good amount of mesh these ventilate well and dry fairly quickly. I use them for everyday wear and even for walking on both pavement and trail up to about 8 miles. More colors please.

A lot of the superior craftsmanship of previous iterations of this shoe have disappeared no double stitching, cheaper materials The pair Ive had for FIVE years now looks like they would outlast the tech 5. Heres hoping all the good features return to the tech 6.

Overall I love these shoes! I am usually a 7 and I ordered both 6.5 and 7 to try because I am a 6.5 for Salomon quest hiking boots. The 6.5 fits for bare foot but I kept the 7 so I can wear socks too if I want to. No break in time for even very picky skin like mine which is a huge plus! Love the shoe lace system and the collapsible heel. Made it through my entire week in Costa Rica's rain forest - I even swam with them on for a while. The only reason for the four stars is they don't dry so fast, but I guess it's a sacrifice for comfort. Recommended overall!

I bought these about a month ago and have worn them non-stop for kayaking, white water rafting, and hiking. Plus side: great traction, supportive, comfortable even when wet, mostly keeps the sand out and small pebbles out, can swim in them. Slight downsides: will come loose eventually when swimming, will rub the tops of my baby toes if damp. In two hours of river time with multiple swims from one river bank to the other, I may tighten the heel strap once - no big deal as it is easy to tighten. I also find if they are somewhat damp, the tops of my baby toes will rub, causing a blister. I KT tape my toes if I know I am going to be wearing them all day and there may be rubbing - works fine.

I bought these initially to hike waterfalls, But recently took a trip to Egypt and these were great because you don't have to wear socks so they're breathable, comfortable and I walked 10 to 15 miles per day in Egypt and also Barcelona, they were amazing! And the color was better than I expected, super happy!

I purchased this shoe for a trip to Central America. I was in the rainforest a majority of the time which required a durable, gripping and fast drying shoe. I wore my Salomons many days on end and they performed perfectly!

The TechAmphibians are pretty light weight, well designed and good for summer/water shoes. However, I wore them today and the arch support pinched/added pressure to the inside of my foot/arch area and I got a blister which I hate getting blisters:/ I actually wear Injinji Liner Socks + hiking socks to prevent blistering and its worked great and I never get blistersso I was a little bummed I got one today. I also hiked longer today, 7 miles vs 3-4 so maybe I really had an opportunity to see how they handle longer distances. Theyre also not AS comfortable as I originally thought, doing the longer duration:/
For the price I think I might try other shoes and brands out.
