I liked how light and breathable these shoes were, but they suffer from poor durability and weak materials in important areas. After only 3 weeks of moderate use, the shoes started developing terrible premature wear on the collar. A hole is starting to form on the outside of the shoe in the mesh and on the inside in the heal area. I also noticed a strangely tight fit with the shoe on, which could be uncomfortable if sitting with your feet slightly awkwardly such as on a flight or in the car. I'm submitting a warranty request for the poor durability and I'll probably be looking for something else from Salomon that will hold up more like my old gen XA Pro 3Ds that I loved so dearly...

You put on these excellent shoes and they fit perfectly.

Bought a month ago for my dad and he wares it every other day. It is super light and comfortable for long walks or even jogging.

Bought it for my dad and as he says it is so comfortable shoe with stylish colors. It's so light that you won't even feel like wearing something.

Bought a pair of Outrise shoes to walk my dog throughout the dryer months of the year. They are very comfortable, light and have a good tread. Whilst light they are also fairly robust and look and feel like they will last well time will tell. 10/10 so far.

This is my 5th pair of Solomon shoes. This time I was looking for something that could do it all - walk the dog, urban exploring, get on a trail, ride the bike and still look decent at a back yard barbecue. I deliberately looked for something that was NOT goretex so note these won't do well in rain but otherwise, a fantastic everyday show shoe!

Disclaimer: I did only a few hike with these (about 50 km on forest / rocky trails). They are very light and comfortable. The size (7.5) fits well. The grip feels good and I don't slip on the trail. Unlike a previous Salomon hiking shoe I don't see any abnormal wear on the sole.

They fit perfectly, they are very comfortable and the gortex is a must for me! I use them all year for everything.

A little stiff at the start but break in quickly. The light weight was well appreciated on a few steep scrambles.

I bought these shoes in February 2023. Now six (6) months later, they are looking undeniably the worse for wear. The soles are badly worn in the heel area of both shoes. The internal heel collar area is badly worn/damaged on both shoes. The mesh type material has spilt in the same area on both shoes (outer forefoot area). Apart from the afore mentioned, other areas of both shoes remain in good condition. The shoes have not been worn for any sporting type activity, just walking for leisure. Given the price I paid, I am disappointed with my purchase.

Extremely poor quality, wasted my time and energy on this product. I wore the shoes for 6 days and the topline was damaged without any heavy usage. Just wore the shoes for office and driving and didn't even tried for hiking or any running activities. I bought one pair before and same thing happened. Lost my trust on this brand.
