Great for hiking in the winter in the Berkshires (MA). I like to wear it over a thin base layer for added warmth. Full disclosure: I am a 130lb 5'5 female and the men's small fit perfectly AND it was on SALE!!!! I say, Shop men's smalls whenever you can. . Availability and prices are often better.

I love this warm, breathable zip base layer. It's thicker & heavier than most base layers too. Smartwool has figured out the best blend of synthetic & wool in their base layer clothing line. I wear them every day, winter or summer, both short & long sleeve & have found them to keep me dry & comfortable, regardless of the season! I own lots of different base layers & none beat Smartwool!

Smartwool shirts are my go to base layer products. They feel great against my skin, come in beautiful colors, fit as sized and are a great price for the value. And they area natural fabric which I prefer. i wear them all the time whether just being out and about or adventuring in teh Cascades or Rockies.

I use this hiking in 80-90 degree weather in the end of the summer. And it's the best. It takes the sweat off of me and is very comfortable

I use it everyday as a base layer

I use my all season merino quarter zips for about any occasion such as work, casual, everyday, and just about all outdoor activities. They're great nearly morning cool summer days, fall, winter, and spring. I own about 10 of them in different colors. They are well constructed and last a long time. Great value - especially when on sale!

My husband love it !

Lightweight and breathable for overnights in the mountains during Summer. Perfect for staving off the chill at higher elevations, while fishing or hunting, and at camp during cloudy/ damp/ cool weather conditions. A bit much when actively hiking on hot summer days - but it blocks the sun, and pre-treated with permethrin helps keep the ticks and mosquitos at bay. Perfect for Spring, Fall. and mild Winter weather.

I wear this pretty much from fall through spring comfortable for everyday wear.
