I have purchased the SAS Walk Easy style for many years. The 9W is still perfect for me. I like the roomy toe box. This is the shoe I choose when I know I will be on my feet all day.

These were an immediate feel of “At home”…width, cushion, arch support. Also more attractive styling than other SAS leather lace ups I have…and that’s a good thing for these weary feet!

Excellent shoe for anyone with foot problems! Recommended especially if you overpronate or have ankle tendonitis.

True to size and width and nice looking. I think the shoe is comfortable and supportive for walking (I do have full length orthotics and don’t use the insoles). My two gripes are that there needs to be one more set of holes in the laces to extend up toward the ankle so that you can avoid heel slip, and one shoe is less comfortable where the leather bends in across my toes so deeply that it bumps the top of my foot while I step. I think that is lessening with wear. The heel slip does not drag my socks down, it’s more like the shoe isn’t really anchored at the back. Overall this is a non-sneaker that I can actually wear for a full day, and that’s rare.

My size is a 10 1/2 extra narrow or Slim. Compared to the 'Free Time' style, which is very similar, the 'Walk Easy' is about a half of an inch longer.

I’ve been wearing SAS shoes for years. It’s the only brand I wear. I had to order a half size longer because of arthritis in my toes. But they’re excellent walking shoes.

Not sure if the width was "true to size" or not, but it was too narrow for me. Additionally, although it was beautifully made, lined, and cushioned, the shoe seemed to not flex AT ALL! I was not expecting the shoe to have no "give." with walking. Instead it seemed that to walk in these shoes your foot would need to rock forward from heal to toe with each step. ??? Seemed very strange to me. (I have never worn this brand before.)

I bought a 8.5 wide instead of an 8.0 wide as my podiatrist said my athletic shoes were too short. These shoes, being a walking shoe and American-made, are more true to size and they are too big for me. The color (Chocolate Brown) is nothing close to the photo which I would call more Saddle. It gives the shoe a look of a work-shoe instead of a classic walking shoe-look like the picture shows. It was so exciting to have them delivered a day earlier than predicted, but what a disappointment when I opened the box and tried them on. Sadly, they have to go back.
